Message language on a read only CF

Hello.On a CF, read only type, how can I get the user language?I have to display a message, the message is returned by a custom function.I thought to send the value of #USER_LANGUAGE# as a parameter, the variable can’t get the value, just the label.

Connect to Active Directory with IFS10

Hello, We need to configure our IFS 10 installation with our internal Active directory. We have entered the data in the screenshot. Then ,we received the warning message in the screenshot below.Despite restarting the server, we continue to encounter the same error. Did we do something wrong.Could you please help us? Adding a custom tab with filter in Aurena to Business Opportunity

HiI have added a Custom Tab (Milestone) to Business Opportunity. Milestone is a custom page we have created ourselves.We have created a List element using our custom entity, and added it under the tab. This list does show data when we have no binding, but when we add a binding according to the documentation on Entity Associations no data is found anymore.  We have added the Custom Logical Unit to BusinessOpportunityHandling.We have made an Entity Association called Milestone Association between the BusinessOpportunity entity and our TOppMilestone Entity, with a Key Mapping of Opportunity_No to CF_Opportunity_NoThe list is set to use the same TOppMilestone entity.Is this a bug or is there something that i am missingBest RegardsNicklas

Hello,There are many situations, particularly in a highly modified implementation, that adding some additional information to the field description could be very useful.  I’m not talking about modifying the help documentation, though that would be nice.  But having some additional information would be nice.Do we have any of this capability?Patrick

Conditional Formatting in Work task page not listed in Aurena.

 In Apps 10 you could color code the SLA by latest finish on various conditions. This is not possible in Cloud.In the work tasks >conditional formats – there is no option to search the required filed of filter the column for SLA by Latest finish. In the work tasks >conditional formats in the formatting attribute field search function is not enabled.  Test stepsGO to work tasks page>select a line and go to conditional formatting. Select the field Formatting attribute and try search.need to consider all the conditional formatting function same as the EE in app 10 in future release since it is an essential function for Resource/ Supervisors to see at a glance which work tasks are due to fail based on SLA date which forms a big factor of contract with the customer. The conditional formatting and ability to highlight these records with colors is therefore important.

BPA on Manual Supplier Invoice

Hi, I’m currently trying to automatically populate a Custom Field using a BPA workflow.The BPA workflow I have to update the custom field I know is working in essence I’ve tested it updates the value just using a “Read” action. I’m trying to get this BPA action to execute after creating a New Manual Supplier Invoice and update the custom field on Manual Supplier Invoice which is created. The problem I think I’m struggling with is that the this “New Manual Supplier Invoice” assistant is based on a virtual set and the ManualSupplierInvoiceHandling Doesn’t have a POST/CREATE directly in the api. How can I make a field type controller in to a look up . As I know Control type should change and should have a reference to be a look up  . is there a way to do this by just using page configurations ?

STUCK thread while executing native sender: 'null' in application message (IFSAPP9).

Hi all,When I import a huge file containing numerous data sets, I receive the following error: just one data set or line can be imported without an error notice.STUCK thread while executing native sender: 'null' Caused by: ifs.fnd.integration.senders.ConnectSender$TemporaryFailureException: STUCK thread while executing native sender: 'null' Also, we've added the line “ifs.bizapiTimeout.ExcelQuickReport.RenderExcelDocument = 1800” to the ifs.properties file and restarted the application server, but the error persists and is triggered after 10 minutes This is mentioned in this below ifs community post:Is there a particular place in the ifs.properties file where to add the line?Any action other than restarting the application server? Thanks & BR.

New Command Type: CommandRef

Dear Community. In 23R1, when adding Commands to Command Groups, there is a new option called CommandRef, however it does not appear in the Technical Documentation, nor anywhere on the Community. Is anyone able to shed any light on its intended function, it appears you can call certain Commands but I am not really sure how to use it. Many thanks,

Work Flow Projection Task for Put Method

Hello, In a workflow projection (now called API) task, we have the below action options.Create (HTTP POST) Read (HTTP GET) Update (HTTP PATCH) Delete (HTTP DELETE) Call (API Methods)This is great for most use cases, but PATCH is not the only HTTP method for updating resources via web requests. In my particular case, I need to send a PUT request to one of the IFS APIs to update certain data. Is there a way to invoke the PUT method through a projection task? I know I can setup a service user, obtain a bearer token, and run a REST call, but I would rather not have all that additional overhead. Any and all advice would be appreciated. Thank you,Dylan

Hi,how can I change the license of a user in APP9.We have reached the limit of full users. So I want to change licences of user to LTU (where we have some licenses left), to use the full user license for others.How can I change license of a user? Automate password creation

Apps10 customer is automating a full IFS installation and wants a script to set the IFS users passwords. Many of them are not difficult using the Oracle_Account_API, but several need the change made also in the admin console:ifssysifsconnectdocvueticketuseranonymousand one that can only be changed in the admin console:ifsmonIs there a way to automate those calls? IFS Cloud 22R1 : How to combine two branches and make one topic environment?

Do you know how to combine two branches and make one topic environment?I have a situation where an attempt to create an topic environment for Branch1 (CRIM1) ends with an installation error, due to a missing column in one of the tables.This column is added in Branch2 (CRIM2), but an attempt to create an topic environment for Branch2 (CRIM2) results in a DB generation error, because it does not find a file that is in Branch1 (CRIM1).So we have a deadlock.From what I have already learned, I can combine two branches into additional one (third branch) and only then create a topic environment.Unfortunately, I don't know how to do this.Could someone describe step by step how to do? Should this extra (third) branch later be merged to Master?Thank you in advance 8-)

How to define a path for Supplier Payment File location in Cloud?

In Cloud (customer is in 21R2), it is not possible to define a file path for the supplier payment files. When the payment file is generated, by default the file will get downloaded. Due sensitivity and confidentiality of the data in the payment files, the customer needs to direct the files to a secure location with limited access. Saving the payment files in a default download folder is not an option for the customer. How to handle this in Cloud?

Duplicating translation lines

Hi,I have created some custom fields in IFS for Sales Quote reporting.  I then ran Scan Translatable Code for the Order Component and the Layer was Cust.  And everything seems to be working so I can get the translations in for German on the new fields.  However the Scan Tranlatable created duplicates for every previous field.  Is there a way to stop that?  And if not, how do you know which one the report is using to add other translations in Text Translations?

Deleted Document Files backup

The maximum period for the database backup in managed cloud seems to be 14 days. When there is a need to have access to (accidently) deleted Document files for a longer period, would that be possible.It is about the actual files connected to Document Revision(s) when IFS is used as a DMS.

CTRL+F9 does not work in Project Transactions screen

Hello experts,We upgraded to IFS10 UPD13 at the end of April 2022. In IFS 9 UPD17 we could use CTRL+F9 to view the history log in the window project transactions. After the upgrade we are no able to use CTRL+F9 in this window. External Link in Shortcut Menu (Cliklearn)

We have created shortcuts to clicklearn  from IFS10 but they do not work, just waiting and waiting. Same link copied to the browser works fine. Is there a way how to add external links to shortcuts?

Crystal Report Filter not displaying in IFS

I have created a Crystal Report with a Filter that works in Crystal Designer but when I launch in IFS via Quick Reports it does not prompt for the Filter so displays the report blank? In the back of my mind I feel like I need another field, hidden in the report to make it work but I cannot for the life of me remember what it is. can anyone advise why the Crystal Report Filter does not prompt? Thanks,
