IFS transformers issue

We need to import XML file but we struggle with problems with every IFS prepared transformer.IFS_XML_TO_JSONHere is the example input XML file (focus on the marked): Transformer does not work for collections.First line of collection works properly, but next lines have type changed to Integer.As per IFS docs. we expect that all output datatypes for transformer should be text.Here is the JSON output: Does anyone resolved/worked-around this problem ? IFS_XML_TO_JSON_GENERICHere is the example input XML file: This transformer also does not work for collections. First line of collection works properly, but next lines are wrongly parsed and type changed to Integer.Here is the JSON output: We also tried transformer “MODEL_BASED_XML_TO_JSON” but it does not use subcollections at all (we tested on SalesMessageService.ReceiveCustomerOrder with subcollection “ExtCustOrdLines”) Any hints are appreciated.

URGENT - PRINTING IS DOWN

Hello,Currently we are facing an issue where out printing is down in IFS Cloud. The strange thing is that this only happens for some printers, which we have verified they are mapped correctly and even remapped them to be sure. The error we are getting is “object reference not set to an instance of an object”. We’ve never encountered this error before in the 8 months that we’ve been using IFS cloud. This issue causes items in the print manager to fail, and when restarted, it seems there is a 50% chance this will complete the print manager job and actually print out.Any and all advise would be greatly appreciated.Thanks,Bryan

Replacing IFS Aurena Built-In Lobbies

Hello Everyone, Is it possible to replace the Aurena built-in lobbies in IFS Application 10 with a customized lobby?In the screenshot below we’d like to replace the My Time and Attendance lobby for Aurena with a custom lobby we’ve created.   We’d like so when someone clicks on the My Time and Attendance navigation link in HR that our custom lobby would be displayed.   I went into Navigation Designer but I wasn’t able to figure out how to change the information on the navigation link so it would use the new lobby.    We do not want to edit the built-in lobbies we prefer to duplicate the built-in lobbies and customize the duplicated lobby.  Regards,William Klotz

Logical Printer not in Task Template still processed as such

Hi,We are running IFS10 Update 11.I’m a bit confused about the setup of Logical Printers, Task Template and Printer Agent.My example:First I add a brand new logical printer named My New Printer. Then I add the printer to my User ID.Logical PrintersUser PrinterI go to Customer Order and print a Customer Order Confirmation on My New Printer.I then go to Print Manager. The error message says that the selected printer agent is not mapped to any printer agent.Print ManagerThe thing is, I haven’t added the printer to the Task Template and still the application message says that the message used the template PROCESSING_PRINT_JOBS.Application Messages Is this some kind of setting I’ve missed? That is, even though I haven’t added the Logical Printer to any Task Template it’s picked up by one.It was my understanding that if I don’t add the Logical Printer to any Task Template I would end up with another error (something along the lines of “no report formatter setup for the printer”).

OData RESTFUL API - Power BI - Apps10

Hi,We are trying to get an Odata Restful API call to run a Power BI Report to be limited by Date (current date less a year) and to include $expand columns. We then need to set-up as a data source so it can be Cached in Power BI not called locally when the report (with row level security) is executed We have code that will work​​​​​​ in Browser / Postman for the $expand but not in Power BI and the date will work as static report but not as a data source. I apricate this is Power BI related - but also I have seen some limitations on the Community about IFS and Restful API’s so would be interested if anyone has ran into similar issues or can point me in the write direction. This has to be imputed in ‘Advanced Query Editor’ in Power BI, the OData call will not work as a simple ‘From the Web’ SOurce let    Source = OData.Feed("https://XXX/int/ifsapplications/projection/v1/CustomerOrderDeliveryNoteAnalysis.svc/DeliveryNoteSet?$filter=date(CreateDate) ge  "&Date.ToText(Date.AddMonths(Date

Aurena - Recommended Screen Resolution

Logging slowness after SSO enabled in Azure AD

Problem:We have SSO enabled in a customer, and it would appear that the latency issue we’re experiencing is only when attempting to log onto IFS using SSO. Connecting to any of the environments using the Admin Gateway does not exhibit the same problem i.e. average 2min wait time from logging in to the splash screen disappearing and the application becoming usable.therefore, is the bottleneck is in Azure AD related?

Refreshing Dictionary Cache does not succeed (no error)

Hi,we have an “alarming” red color for the Refresh Dictionary Cache. The user who is normally uploading permission sets has among others FND_ADMIN permissions, so we thought this should be enough to successfully refresh the dictionary cache. However, the user cannot succeed with that - the color does not change successfully. There is also no error message. No UI feedback.Do we have someone here who could help? IFS Support is silent so far.The user wrote:I have tried going through all the permission sets and refreshing the dictionary cache as instructed by IFS, and I have also tried to refresh it via Refresh Server Cache. Nevertheless, it is still marked as red and remains unrefreshed. How do I solve this? This is a problem in non-prod and prod environments. It behaves the same for all permission sets.

Hi,I am working on a project where customer wants to receive an email when particular shop order has changed. For this we have created a subscription and selected the send email option.The received email contains a web link pointing to https://<custname>.ifs.cloud/client/runtime/Ifs.Fnd.Explorer.application. when checking the codeI see Fnd_Obj_Subscription_Util_API.Send_Email___ contains hard coded string '/client/runtime/Ifs.Fnd.Explorer.application?url='.Can this be a core bug or am I missing any settings?Customer Version: 21.2.8/Charith

Number Counter next value projection function

HelloI'm having a bit of task to try and make use of oracle sequences in IFS Cloud and stumbled upon number counters: The solution proposed in that topic looks to be what I'm after, however I'm having trouble finding a way to specifically generate a value from a projection function. The solution detailed is very much reliant on database access, but with IFS Cloud we have to assume no DB access.So i am looking for a projection that in essence calls ‘next_val()’ and returns the next value of the counter/sequence. Is there one?

IFS Cloud 22R1: Crystal Quick Report error

Hi All,I created a simple Quick Report (Crystal report) in IFS Cloud 22R1. EDI 820 Payment Order and 844 Product Transfer Adjustment

Does IFS Apps 10 have an XML schema for an EDI 820 Payment Order  or EDI 812 Credit Adjustment (used for credit memos) and an EDI 844 Product Transfer Adjustment?  We have a 3rd party EDI translator that we use with IFS and we have several customers requesting us to use the EDI 820 or 812 document for credit invoices and the 844 document for chargebacks.  I’ve searched the IFS Interface Browser but have not come across anything yet.  I’m looking at using the SendInvoice XML schema to generate the 812 EDI file keying off of the series ID of CR but have not tested it yet.  If anyone else has a solution for this, any insight is appreciated!

CSV plugin in Cloud

according to technical document, IFS Cloud is still support CSV plugin for order report. But when we create a rpl file with csv as output file extension. The output is a excel file other than CSV. is it a bug in IFS Cloud? when we use same rpl file, it works fine in IFS 10 version.

IFS .Net Print Agent and ADFS

Hi All, I have an environment set up, ADFS is incorporated in the environment. When I print as any user I get an error message and failed application message saying that user with directory id “X” can’t be found as an active user.Failed locating an active FndUser with directory_...I can’t change the director id’s on the account to match as it will remove the ADFS functionality, I can however restart the application message manually.What could be a probable cause for incorrect directory id not being picked up on initial message creation. Many Thanks,

Replicate values in Persistent Custom field

Hi!Does anyone know if there is a limitation of using persistent custom fields in a replicated environment.Our field gets values in our offshore environment(Satellite) but the values are not replicated to our onshore environment(HUB).
