Hi, We have installed IFS Apps 10 (Enterprise Explorer) and I am able to log in to the front-end using the shortcut under username “ifsapp” and with the correct password. However when I set up a connection to PL/SQL Developer and try ifsapp (with the same password as I used above) I get “invalid username/password; logon denied”. My tsnames.ora file is correct, I am sure of that. I can’t reset the ifsapp password in Apps 10 User Management because others are using that username. How can the ifsapp password for Oracle be different to the interface password? When we used Apps 8 it was always the same for both.
In the Customer Order screen in IFS EE 10 how do I get the “Delivery Note” box under “Documents Printed” to get ticked. I know it is triggered by something in the status of the Customer Order or the Customer Order lines but I don’t know what sets it. See attached image.I would appreciate any help, thank you.
I am trying to create a custom menu RMB on the Sales Part screen in IFS Apps 8. I want it to go to the Purchase Order Lines screen and pass in a part number as a parameter. I am using the code below which looks OK. If I paste "ifsapf:tbwPurchaseOrderLine?COMPANY=100" into the address bar of IFS it goes to that screen. Hi,I want to call a procedure from an IFS Database task to populate a table. The procedure is a custom one I created myself. If I create it within a package I can get to it by going to “IFS Base Functionality “ in the “Select method” option in the Database Task. I can find the package in there (see attached image; Base Func.png). But if I create the procedure outside of a package (in the “procedures” section in the Oracle db) how do I find it in IFS Base Functionality? Can I even do that? Is it only possible to call packages from IFS Base functionality? I would like to be able to access custom made functions and procedures from IFS Base Functionality, not just packages.If anyone can tell me how to do that it would be great, thank you.
I am using IFS Apps10 and have a problem with Purchase Orders being emailed to the Requisitioner without them requesting it. It appears in the requisitioner’s inbox with the subject “PDF file for Purchase Order report for result key <result key> is ready”When I check the Report Archive it says it was ordered by the Requisitioner but he has not ordered it. There is no custom event or scheduled task triggering it. I think it is occurring when the PO is closed but I am not sure. I don’t think it is occurring for everybody, just this one person and has only started occurring recently. The only way I am aware of that you can receive this mail is if someone sends it manually from the Purchase Order screen by selecting RMB-“Print Order” and then ticking the “Send Email to” box and entering an email address in the text box below that.I can’t see how it can be happening in an automated way., I have checked everywhere. I need to stop it however.

I am receiving the following error when I RMB on a Customer Order Line and select “Connect to Activity”.The activity I am connecting to is on a Project that is created with the same Order no. as the Customer Order. I have compared the Customer Order with another Customer Order that is connecting successfully and both are identical (same parts on the Order line and the project is the same also) AccountingCodeParts.MISSCODE: The value I100453 used for the code part Project is either missing, is a budget/planning code part value or has invalid time interval Where “I100453” is the Customer Order number and also the Project ID that I am trying to connect to.Thank you for any replies.

I am in the process of moving all custom events from Apps8 to Apps10. I am able to get all custom events functioning after some modification except for events which call "Error_SYS.Record_General()" When the event is triggered it displays this: https://i.ibb.co/m4Wf1vF/Error.png For instance the message above is displayed when a user changes the count in the "Count Per Inventory Part" screen but does not add a note : a note needs to be added as to why the count is being changed or else the record will not save. I need to do a select statement that calls a number of API’s that are not available under the schema that I am logged in under. Basically I have a select that selects from tables and views that I have access to under the login I am using (IFSINFO). But there are some lines that call API’s that are only available under a different login (IFSAPP).If I comment out the lines that call these API’s the select works fine. But if I leave one of them uncommented the select brings back nothing. I have tried logging in as IFSAPP and granting Execute on user IFSINFO to those packages but when I log back in as IFSINFO the select comes back with no rows. It doesn’t give an insufficient privilege error.I am thinking that the API selects from tables/views that IFSINFO does not have the select rights on. Is there a way that execute can be granted to IFSINFO on an API (and at the same time grant privileges' on whatever views or tables that are referenced in that API)?
I am having a problem with the IFS Mobile Work Order app (on Android). When I try to select a Work Order I get the error message "Application not authorized to user". See attachment. I have re-initialised the app several times and also re-synced the work orders screen but it makes no difference.
I am doing an upgrade of custom events and fields in Applications 10. I have two instances of Apps 10: In one instance I am adding all the custom events and custom fields to configuration packages. I am then importing those package in another instance of Apps10. The custom events in the packages already exist in the Apps10 instance I am importing them to. However when I import them it tells me that the custom event already exists (which is true) and in the case of the custom fields it does not overwrite the the existing field, it creates a new one with “_2” appended to the name.When I was creating the packages there wasn’t a setting to allow me to overwrite the object I am exporting if it already exists in the IFS instance that I import it to. Likewise when i imported the package I was not given the option to overwrite the object if it already exists. Is this the way Configuration Packages work? It isn’t possible for me to delete all the objects in the db before the import.
I want to call a function from a Deferred_Call in a custom event. No issue with that I hear you say but the function returns a number variable. When a Customer Order is created from a Sales Quotation is there a link between the two?In the Sales Quotation itself I can right-click on a Quotation line in it and select “Customer Order” and that takes me to one of the customer orders that was created from the Quotation but when I put a debug trace on it in IFS it doesn’t tell me how it linked it (i.e. what field).Thank you for any replies.

I get the error message in the attachment when I click ”OK” on Customer Statement of Account. My question is does this mean that the print job will not execute at all or does it mean it will execute after the job that is in the queue before it has executed? Thank you.
I have a problem with a part that is created in IFS by Novacura Flow software. It creates the Inventory part but it is not appearing in Inventory Part in Stock. A user wants to receive it in to a shop order (in the “Inventory Receipt” tab in “Receive Shop Order”; see screen cap below) but it can’t do that unless the part is in the Inventory Part in Stock screen.The one I have in the screen cap below is just one but there are others.Any help would be appreciated thanks.
A user is getting an error when exporting the results of a quick report to Excel. The error is “Column COMPANY is not part of”. “COMPANY” is one of the parameters that is passed in when the report is executed.The query executes and returns the resultset to the Quick report screen but the error appears on the right-click “Output-Save As” and “All rows”There are other parameters to be entered to the report also. I have ran the report with the same parameters the user is entering on my own PC while logged in to IFS under his credentials and I am not getting the error. On some of the Projects in our IFS 10 the Project Activity Finish date is getting changed automatically.If the date is changed to a date later than the one that was there before, it changes it back to the date that was there before. It only happens on one or two projects, It is not a custom event or a background job that is doing it because I checked. It doesn’t happen instantaneously after the finish date is changed to a later date, it occurs some time after. Maybe triggered by somebody else editing the activity. See attached image. Can anyone help? Thank you.
Is there a way (in Enterprise Explorer version 10) to make a field mandatory on a screen for all users.I want to make a combo-box mandatory in Customer Orders for all users.I know it can be made mandatory by RMB- Properties-Mandatory and then selecting the object from the list but that only does it for the user who is currently logged in. It doesn’t carry across to all profiles. I want to make the field mandatory for every profile. But I don’t want to alter the Base profile or personal profile.Is there a back-end table I can modify it in?
When creating a Business Opportunity in APPS10 Enterprise Explorer there is a field “Main Representative”. I want the option to add any IFS user to this but the list of values only allows me to add the names that are listed in a separate screen called “Representative 360”.However there is only one user in this screen and it looks like a test user. There isn’t any option to add a user (no “plus” icon) How do I make an IFS User a “Representative 360” user?Thank you.
