HelloWe have a couple of users who when using the RMB to perform Instant Authorization in the Posting Proposals screen have overnight come across an issue with the Preview section of the screen. These users who previously could see the Preview section now cannot and the document being authorised now opens up in full screen mode in Adobe.IFS takes some time to open the document in full screen mode - the user then has to close the adobe screen, authorize the invoice(s) and then IFS once again re-opens the document in full screen mode.This change in behavior is really slowing down the authorization process for our users.Does anyone know why the Preview section of the screen is no longer available to the users and why all of a sudden these documents open up in Adobe full screen?ThanksAS
HiCan the community help with the below error message?We have an output path defined for our EFT upload file process the file being created when using the RMB to Create Payment Order.This was originally setup for one company and we have no issues with the process/output.We are now required to send EFT payments out of a new company and are using the same Payment Methods per Institute (Output File Directory Output File Directory History) setup as the original company.However when we go to Create Payment Order this message appears indicating that the Output File Directories should be verified. Where should this verification take place in order to allow the creation of the Payment Order and upload file?Any information would be much appreciated.ThanksAlanS
In June 2021 our UK plant switched from the BACS system to CHAPS.Prior to the switch the UK would upload details of their supplier payment runs to the bank via a file upload.Since the switch they have not been able to do so - no file being created to upload to the bankWe were advised that there was no difference between the two systems and that the setup currently in place for Payment Format BACS and Payment Method BACS OUT should remain in place for suppliers being paid through BACS and that processing would continue as normal. This is not the case as this has become a manual effort in terms of sending the payment information to the bank.If anyone in the community has come across a similar situation when using these two systems any information that you can provide in terms of adding/changing Payment Formats and Payment Methods would be much appreciated. Hi Community We require the ability to pay CAD Supplier Invoices out of our EUR bank account.Our site has GBP setup as the Accounting Currency.When we Create a Payment Order and attempt to change the currency to CAD the below error message is generated and we cannot update the currency in the payment order first pop up box.Currently we can pay CAD Supplier invoices out of our GBP bank account but can’t seem to do this out of EUR bank account. Is this an IFS restriction by way of core processing - meaning that it isn’t possible for us to do what we require? I have read another post in the community that deals with a similar situation but that scenario was related to Cash Transfers from one account to another utilizing Mixed Payments. Can someone confirm if what we are attempting to do is doable or not? Any information would be much appreciated! Thanks A
We have an Internal Ledger setup for German GAAP reporting purposes and are using the system defined Audit Sources for the IL.The output from these views/reports is currently in English.Does anyone in the community know how to have the output be in German?The Account Descriptions in the IL have been translated to German yet the output takes the English description.ThanksA
HiWe recently cancelled a future dated manual supplier invoice but when creating the voucher the date was not changed to post to the current month and the voucher was created to post to the previous month.The issue is that our IFS Financials only went live as of February 1st, 2022 but the cancellation voucher is trying to post to Period 1, January 2022 which we cannot have as well as the period being closed.What is the easiest way to correct this situation?Your comments would be appreciated.ThanksA
Hi We currently have auto-matching/cashing of cheques setup for our ABR (Automated Bank Reconciliation.It’s our understanding that this can also be setup to auto-match EFT, ACH and Wire transactions and as such we’d appreciate the community’s help in determining what the requirements and setup are to allow us to use this functionality.If there’s another process over and above the default IFS Bank Reconciliation that has to be used in order to make this work, then your comments would be appreciated.Thank youA
Hi I added the below Fixed Asset objects which are all in Active status with the Book, Depreciation Method, Acquisition Date and Valid from Date values defined.When I attempt to run the Depreciation Proposal these Objects are not selected.In creating the Objects and getting them into an Active status I didn’t Import the objects but used a series of Manual Supplier Invoices (IFS Help) to get the objects into IFS and not the Voucher entry screen.These invoices were Non - PO and for each I received the message ‘Fixed Assets will be updated when updating the GL.It doesn’t appear that any A type vouchers were generated by using this process and I’ve also noticed that in the Accounting Transactions Analysis screen that the Posting Control FAP0 was executed for each of the objects.Any thoughts/information on where I went wrong in this process and why ultimately these objects are not being picked up in the Depreciation Proposal would be appreciated.Thank you Accounting Transactions Analysis

HiI came across a post in the community from a year ago which dealt with the question - ‘How can I write off a customer over payment?Part of the conversation outlined the below.If there is a over payment you can use a difference item option and settle the amount same time you make the payment. It can be done in many windows such as Customer check, Mixed payment, Customer payment.Our requirement is different from the initial question given that we would like to implement a process/solution to move overpayments to a subledger account and clear these payments out at a later/future date.Would what has been suggested above (Customer Check, Mixed Payment or Customer Payment work for our situation and if so are there particular Posting Controls that we would have to setup to achieve this?I thought about such Posting Controls as IP21 Customer Claims, Difference Item and PP8 Customer Claims, Pre- Payment but most probably I’m way off base with these thoughts.Any comments/assistance that the c
Can a Multi-Company Voucher be entered if I am not a user connected to or in any user group in the due to company?Scenario: If I am in company 100 and want to enter a MCV from 100 to 110 and I’m not in any user group in 110 can I still complete the process? Thanks A
HelloI created two new voucher types ASM and ASR and turned on the Simulation Voucher flag as I wanted to test the entering of a Manual Voucher and have the reversing entry automatically be created by IFS to reverse the posting in the next month. I then created a Manual ASM Voucher but cannot determine if a reversing entry for the next month has been created or not.Is there anyway to see/test that the reversing entry has been created? Hi I created an External File Template for a Bank Statement upload.The input file processes correctly with all records going to Unpacked status.When I run the External File Assistant I now get the below error message where as you can see the Statement Date parameter is shown defaulting to the SYSDATE.Does anyone have any ideas as to why I’m suddenly getting this error message? I’m sure I’ve come across this previously but can’t remember what causes the issue and what the resolution is. ThanksAlan

HelloWhen you try to Cancel and Create an existing Manual Supplier Invoice which is in PostedAuth status there’s a message that appears informing the user that they are not authorized to cancel the invoice.It seems that in statuses other than PostAuth that the Cancel and Create functionality is available.Can anyone confirm that this is the case?ThanksAlan
HelloWe have an issue when calculating Customer Rebates.Under one agreement for one customer we have a group of invoices which all show the correct calculations yet others have incorrect calculations or show zero dollars.We have checked that the same rebate rules are being applied.Has anyone come across this behavior in IFS?ThanksAlan
Can you please explain why each and every time I try to login to the community my current password is not recognized meaning that I have to send an email regarding a password change? Once I change the password the next time I login the system informs me that my credentials are invalid and I’m forced to repeat the password change process all over again.ThanksAlan
We are implementing APPS10 and have an issue when Shipping Orders.There’s an inconsistency in the invoices that are generated.Some create a regular invoice and then others create collective invoices.We’ve checked the setup on the customers and on the Order tab, Invoice Type the default for all is set to Normal Invoice.Has anyone come across this issue before?ThanksAlan
