Does anyone face issues with part numbers longer than 25 characters (IATA/ATA S2000)? Version is 23R1 or after, cloud setup. While using ATA Spec 2000, the part-number field should be kept as concise as possible. While there is no strict character limit, it’s essential to avoid unnecessary complexity. Unfortunately, in IFS the part # field is limited to 25 characters. Are there any work arounds anyone used to overcome this limitation?
I’m trying to create a sales contract from a Business Opportunity. In the Create Sales Contract dialog, in the lower section I set my line no, description and set my Calculation type for Sales Value and my calculation method of Rate Only and Fixed. When the Sales Contract is created, the only values that come over from the Opportunity and ones where I’ve set the calculation method to Fixed. Does anyone know why the values when I am using Rate Only are not coming over to the Sales Contract?

Hi team, The Supplier For Purchase Part screen contains a field named 'Min Order Qty', which according to the system help should trigger a warning/alert if a Purchase Requisition or Purchase Orders is raised for a lesser quantity. When I use a data page parameter in IFS Cloud on my lobby page the result is one less than I have chosen and then again, one less when passed to the elements. Here is the scenario:Date chosen in lobby is 01/02/2024. Date displayed on Lobby Page is 01/01/2024: Date passed to the element is 12/31/2023: Has anyone else seen this?
Hi all, I previously had a topic on this, which lead to looking into the NLS settings, but unfortunately not found a solution yet. So hope someone has some valueable input for this.We have a scheduled database task for the Supplier Payment Proposals, in which we use a “substitute variable”, being Start of Next week. However, the created Proposal, has start of next week as Sunday, and not as Monday.When i manually create a Supplier Payment Proposal, it does take Monday as the First Day of Next Week. We have changed the NLS Setting for the Database Processes to Danish, set the Database Settings to Danish as well as the Server settings. But nothing seems to have any impact on the scheduled database tasks behaviour.
We have a scheduled database task to run Cumulative Lead Time Calculation. It is scheduled to run weekly on Wednesday. Is there a way to tie this to a manufacturing calendar or limit specific dates? Christmas is on Wednesday this year and if we run it on a day with no scheduled work, the calculation will be incorrect.(Currently in Apps10)

When trying to filter audits by dataset, if I select that i want all databases and select one dataset it filters to only the scheduling database for the selected dataset. I can filter specifically to see only modelling or scheduling of the dataset but i can’t see both with showing all databases and datasets. Any else experiencing this issue? Is this a bug in the UI?
Hi Experts,We have a PSO tenant integrated with IFS cloud, all information from the could is passing without an issue.But if I try to manually process a file dropping this into the Input folder, PSO is not picking it but the file can be seen still there.I have restarted all services also verified the Parameters as well connected to Input file but no change can be seen.What could causing this issue? Good day. Still on the topic of Travel Allowances: Can you define more than one type of allowance which an employee is entitled to for the same day. Example - Employee gets a Daily Travel Allowance, an Inconvenience Allowance and, depending on the day of the week, could qualify for an additional Weekend/Public Holiday allowance. There could therefore be 3 allowances applicable for a specific day away from home. I have defined all three but the system only takes one of them for a specific day. I would appreciate guidance on how to set this up. Thank you.
Hello together,when I report time on a project by the Time Card, the dialog with the switches “Project”, “Shop Order” and “Indirect” pops up. All the three switches are st on inactive. When I turn on of these on active, I can report time.My question is now: is it possible to set the switch “Project” on active by default, so that (ideally) that dialog is skipped and IFS leads me direct to the Time Reporting of the Project, see screenshot? My problem is i cannot find the non-supplier payment in supplier payment proposals to be able to process the refund through the bank.How do i process this non-supplier payment?
Hello,I want to understand what are qty in WIP, Consumption from current available stock and future purchase requirement by a BOM/Product Structure.We have two sets of parts,One which are unique to a product structure. Shared parts across different product structures.Because we operate as MRP, I am struggling to calculate the Estimated to Complete cost majorly because of the WIP where for example there are 10 Shop Orders, and 8 of them have started, now the current stock in IPIS won’t reserve the stock for 2 remaining Shop Orders and therefore, the IPIS qty is not correct. Is there a better solution to calculate an ETC cost for a project in IFS APP10

The current process to update an approved Miscellaneous allocation for a technician solely using MWO seems to be not available with the existing functionality. Manual interaction with Backoffice personnel is required to do any changes for the approved miscellaneous allocations in MWO. There are some customer requirements where they need MWO users to have the facility to do some alterations for the approved miscellaneous allocations from MWO application itself rather than going for the IFS Cloud platform. The current design where allocations are effectively “locked” down with approval functionality, could be enhanced to a more flexible and useful solution.
