How to test and get files using a SFTP connection in ifs connect in IFS10?

Hi Sachini,Please ensure that you have defined the destination address correctly in your routing rule. In the sample inbound message below, I have used a PLSQL type destination address. Certificate problem for HTTP REST connection

Numerical Order

Is there a way to change how the numerical order in some fields works? For example when I order the below column, ifs orders it by first digit, then second. How can i get this to be ordered 1 - 26 and not as it below? Hi,If you check the database view of this table you will see that line no is defined as a VARCHAR2 column.So, you can’t order it by Line no since it isn’t a Number field. But I can suggest you a workaround. Create a custom field by converting the VARCHAR2 to Number field. Then you will be able to sort the table view by newly created line no.BR,Kavindu

How to create layout definition entry when deploying new reports

I’m working in IFS Developer Studio in a Cloud 21.2.9 environment deploying new operational reports and uplifting existing custom operational reports. In my .rdf, there is a place for the report definition which uses Report_Sys to create the Report Definition in the application. I’d like to create the report layout entry at the same time so it doesn’t need to be created manually in the application. I realize that I’ll still need to import the actual layout in the application but I’m trying to skip the step of having someone manually create the layout entry after the report is delivered to the various customer instances. I’m looking for advice on what the best practice is to accomplish this. I did find that there is a Report_SYS.Define_Report_Layout_ procedure which I can put in the report definition section of my .rdf and which will create the layout entry. The only issue is that it creates the entry with Design Time set to TRUE. I’ve found that this makes it impossible to del

Error Adding LOV Field in Company ID in Aurena

Are you creating a new Selector? If it’s the case you need to change the name. isn’t it? because it has declared before in core. If you want to do a change to existing selector(Lov) need to use override annotation. Regards,Kavindu

Package Deployment Reversion

Hi all, My question is regarding package deployment and reversion. Once a package is deployed, how do we revert to the previous version? Understand we can just re apply the older package, but this is not a reversion correct? Hi @StejonatL ,In this case, I guess you need to create a new package with an older file version. Once you deploy your package, you cannot revert it. It is ideal to create a new package by reverting the changes in files. Regards,Kavindu

Happy to share that I manage to do this requirement. The steps below show the way I achieve it.I added the same lu, view and package name for the frm window as i see in tbw window. Then added the key columns and few columns(those i need to see in search) to main frm window from uppder tbw window. Maximum file size for attachement

Kavindu, There is no limit to the size of files for document management for either deployment option, however some customers have created custom event that limits the size due to project requirements. How to Print Pdf report automatically

Hi @jzouaoui ,In your case we may have to save the result key value of the printed report in shipment window or some where else, using a custom or customized field. Then we can re-view that report from report archive in the moment of closing the shipment. That’s the solution I can think of. Thanks..

Developer Studio - Exception while generating code (IFS Cloud 21r1)

Hi @kamal.nazzal Today I had the same issue and found a solution for this. You just need to close developer studio and navigate for the location below. You can delete the folder call 10.82 or rename it for something else(10.82_backup). Prefer to rename in case you need to restore it.Location : C:\Users\<User>\AppData\Roaming\DeveloperStudioOnce you reopen the developer studio it will create new folder as 10.82 and your issue will be solved.Thanks and Regards,Kavindu

Report creating duplicate copied

HI, I have created a report which takes an RequestId as Input and Generates the report,It all works well when we run it from the report screen by providing a requestId,but when the same report is configured in the Request screen via report set it gives a 140 Page doc with the same report being repeated over an over again. Any idea why this might be happening,it is giving 140 copies on all requests,Is there any specific mapping needed to run it from the request screen Hi @manishpandey ,Did you try to set RequestId and other initialized variables as NULL in the end of the report? IFS Report Designer page table total
