Is it possible to surpress the microsoft message when starting IFS Enterprise Explorer?

Hey @hhy38 By default, this extension enables you to download the .application file directly. in the background and start the default Application Run - Security Warning dialog. When this is not installed, you would have to download the .application and start it from your downloads folder manually. And this will then trigger the rest.Regards,Tobias

Questions about password management in IFS Cloud.

Hi @Fabrice - Is it possible to define a frequency at which users must change their password?The possibility exists in the oracle profile which every ORACLE user is created upon. But this does no longer affect IFS Users in IFS Cloud. Except the ones in the database like ifsapp and others.- Possibility to control that the new password is not the same than the previous ones when it’s changedThere was the possibility to make use of an oracle script or an own procedure to check the passwords upon creation including some specific features like the ones you mentioned. There are further requests to enhance the existing password policies Jonas mentioned earlier.But those are not in place right now. Not even sure if this is already posted somewhere. - What is the default number of times the user can try to connect before the account is locked There are no seetings regarding this by now as it is the same as #1. How does copying work for IFS Cloud environments hosted by IFS?

Hi @TheoB For this, you should open up a ticket for the support team to answer this question. By standard, there are specific parameters which can not be copied or have to be rewritten after the copy. In the default situation, there are scripts running to clone the database. Including some extraction of data, mostly for the authentication stuff, to prevent errors. Those are imported to the database afterwards. But it might also depend on the specific parameter. Potential infinite recursion detected in cascading BPAs

Good question. Based on the standard, the status might change more than one time. I once had a setup where I checked the status update and it happened that I received more than 10 times or something like that where the status had been updated. Not sure which mechanism is running here to check the possible counts of it.

RECURSIVE CPU - 94%?

The oracle recursive CPU indicates everything which oracle databases are doing in the background to make everything work.Which means: the database is doing something inside to work properly.E.g. Adding a row into a table needs to have some further storage allocated, then the database is managing this internally. In this case, this is displayed as recursive CPU. What I found as a statement, no longer sure where I found it:The recursive CPU displays that the database is working fine. The higher the recursive CPU, the lesser User specific actions are done and the database is doing management tasks inside. From an IFS perspecitve you do not have to worry about that value when it is high. This does not mean you are reaching any limit of the oracle database server. Hope this helps.Kind regards,Tobias

BLOB background in Report Designer

Hi @ELJO Based on the images you sent me, they got a transparent background. From what I have found out is that this is an issue when the java framework is not using specific commands. I do not want to go into detail with that. But it seems the Java library of the reporting engine does not support this “transparent” feature and replaces it with a black one. So either the logic to create the picture needs to be changed or the framework of the reporting engine.Sorry for the delay at first and second for the need to create a supportticket for this topic. Hi @Tracy NorwilloThe field invoice_no had been in a specific connected table.This table is connected to the XML Tag TRANSACTION Not to the details.Examine the Data XML in such a case.It would be<TRANSACTION> <value1/> <value2/> <example>This is a Test </example> <TRANSACTION_DETAIL> <CODE_A/> <CODE_B/> <CODE_C/> <CODE_D/> <INVOICE_NO>12345</INVOICE_NO> </TRANSACTION_DETAIL></TRANSACTION> The report designer uses the table connections to search for the values. Which in return means, even if the value and the tag invoice_no is in the TRANSACTION Section, the report framework will look for the value where you mentioned it should be.In this case, the invoice_no from TRANSACTION_DETAIL had been added to transaction.This leads to the assumption, that this value can be found in the TRANSACTION section where value1, value2 and example are. Hi @sashikant Get the enterprise explorer link from your access point and copy it to a text editor or directly into a webbrowser address.Simply make sure, that your standard address, including the port is used. And add client/runtime/Ifs.Fnd.Explorer.application?debugconsole=on to enable the debug console right after you hit the enter button.It should look like this in the endhttp://lkpvmpe1249.corpnet.ifsworld.com:58080/client/runtime/Ifs.Fnd.Explorer.application?debugconsole=onThis might come in handy to identify issues or what is running in the background. As Windows 11 is definitely not in the list of supported Systems you may try to check this: What is rdwi15.dll file?The rdwi15.dll file is a legitimate executable file that is commonly found in d:windowssqlwindowsframeworkv1.5.1. This file is associated with the Centura Team Developer , developed by Centura Software Corporation , MD5 signature : f05aff3d59ad442e6631d28e151e8b15 . .The rdwi15.dll file is typically located in the d:windowssqlwindowsframeworkv1.5.1 and has a file size of around 1629184 (byte). This file is required for the proper functioning of applications that use the Centura Team Developer. When an application requires this file, it will be loaded into memory and run in the background. Limit on application message queues?

Dear @Malin Norgren, by default, there is simply no limit on the queues. There are only limits in how many processes can be handled actually. What you need to consider are these things:Is it possible to maintain the amount of queues properly?Is the ifsapp-connect pod running enough memory to handle the amount of requests?Have you set your job_queue_processes in the database to a higher level to process everything? Based on my experience, these are the most interesting points to consider.Regards,Toby

Hi @SKA123 At first, I would always recommend to check the permissions for the necessary projections.I guess you already have the projection granted which is necessary to open the page. But maybe you do not have permissions for the report itself?As based on the select, the view FIELD_TRANSLATION does not have any additional filters on it.I would suggest to use the Role FND_DEVELOPER_FNDDEV. This should grant you all necessary permissions for that. If this does not help you, add the projection for the Invoice Report as well. Kind regards,TT

Hey @jporter Update from the benchmark team: The idea now is to provide a guide every R1 release, for 23R1 it will be in the form of a paper (no xlsx). This will be based on EA and hopefully published in time for GA release When it comes to MT configuration, there will be an update of “config calculator” every R1 and R2 release. Why do I get an error due to system privilege configuration?
