Hi Enzo, For this purpose you can use access templates. Open Document Management\Basic Data\Document Basic. Open Access template tab. Here select the document class you need. Enter either person IDs of each user, or you can group all users in a person group (in person groups tab) and enter that person group here. Select View access only. Kinldy note that this will give the users view access for new documents created for the document class but not for existing ones.If you need to give access for existing documents as well, you can use a person group that is already connected to this document class (not a new person group) and then add the users to that person group. Hi Jeff, If you need to get material from a different site, you can directly use material orders for that.Let me know if this addresses your issue. For example: Work order in site A but need material from Site B. Create the work order in Site A. Create a work task as well and release it. Create a material order in Materials tab where the Req. There you will see the local check out path. From the description of the problem the local check out patch could be wrong. Hi Bill, You can connect the service contract to a work order as well and invoice it (Prepare work order > CO Information tab). However in this scenario also, the work order will then be invoiced via a customer order.When it comes to service contracts and work orders, we do not have a separate invoice form like service contract invoice / work order invoice. Instead the invoicing will be done via a customer order since in Service Management, the work is done for a customer and to invoice customers customer order is needed. (If it is Asset Management, i.e. company is maintaining its own objects, then the invoicing part is not needed and no customer orders will be created.) Let us know if there is any further concern. Hi Dhananji, Since the issue is related to customization, you will need to check the specification. However kindly follow below steps to get rid of the error and create invoice preview. Select the service contract you have created. In the services tab, fill the mandatory details and in addition enter, invoice type = resources used, invoice on = work task, work task status = reported, cust order type = SEO, Select “Create order in released state” (customized). In Scope tab, enter an object id as well. Activate the contract. Now create a service request for the same customer used in the service contract, enter the same object and service contract details. Navigate to prepare workorder form using “Prepare” option. Add a work task, release it. Enter an sales line (You may report time and make sure the sales line created has sales part connected and the state is Invoiceable). Set the task to reported. Now try to create invoice preview. Hi, Can you kindly check the value you have set for object property PM_PLAN_HORIZON ? Open Application Base Setup\System Setup\System Definitions. Open Object Property tab. Search for PM_PLAN_HORIZON. If the property value is the current year, change it to the new year limit you need to generate the maintenance plan. Also you may check the calendar connected to the PM Action or Maintenance organization used in the PM Acton – If the calendar expires in 2021, you will have to extend the calendar and generate it as well. Now create a new PM Action and check whether the correct year limit is available in the maintenance plan. Hi, Kinldy note that this is standard functionality of the application because allowing to create a Service quotation through a Component Repair (CRO) Work Order is making the flow backwards and a CRO needs be invoiced via a CRO itself. But I’m not sure whether it is useable for the customer, since from equipment side, we have already allowed period sign in object ID and customer has created objects with period sign. After creating the functional or serial objects, they cannot change the ID to use comma, instead of period icon. Please correct me if I’m wrong. However, my object ID is ID.DOC.TEST1 and tried to connect with key 1,ID.DOC.TEST1. Same error was raised. The workaround is in Aurena :)Before saving: Best Regards,Thilini

Hi, In general, if you have a serial object which is being used, it will have the operation status = In Operation, Operational condition = Operational.Then if you return the same serial to inventory from the work order,Operation status = Out of Operation, Operational condition = Operational To get back the operation status of the object to “In operation”:First, issue the serial part from inventory. This can be done using the Work order materials tab. Then, in the report in work order form, you have RMB option “Place serial in equipment structure ”. Hi Mathias,I received more details from customer. They want to enable attachments in both Milestone/Stage Payment of Purchase head and Register Arrivals screen. Even though LU of Milestone/Stage Payment of Purchase head and Register Arrivals screen is same, however views are different.They have added the attachments function to both screens with "Object Connections" screen.The view was overwritten, and Oracle error has happened when user opened one of screen, and user can solve it with view change in this "PurchaseOrder" LU case, however users cannot follow up every case, so they have requested to solve the root cause. You can check this by navigating to Solution Manager -> User interface -> Application Search -> Search DomainsYou can enable the search domains and then run the sync job for it to work without errors. As for the number of unsynchronized domains, the upper limit can be altered from the application monitoring categories.If the amount of data in your IFS application environment is relatively high, and if the data is being frequently queried, it is better to have application search domains enabled for most frequently queried categories.
