In Aurena (browser access) is not possible, as far as we’ve researched. A block like this will impact other functionality (like Duplicate Tab) and having multiple browser windows open pointing to different screens, since all the access is now via HTTP API (projections with cookies). You could CRIM a redirect after a check on Oracle sessions history (with history log enabled), but we were recommended against modifications on FND items. We’re on APPS10, making use of both IEE and browser interfaces. The IEE Client (in previous versions) was a different technology, where you could clone windows under the same session.

One could do a little parent-child with a custom entity table, where you add different rows for each read-only reference. If it’s for a report, and not active search on the Opportunity screen, I’d build the (quick) report directly with the left join showing those. No need to modify the standard screens for analysis reports.
Did that .. funny with the user profiles though . (more than 1000 users).. We also used the page designer in Aurena and set “Editable” attribute to FALSE. then cleared the application caches, and instructed the users to clear their browser cache. hope it holds after an UPD deployment. If not, now I know how to do it again. Thanks for the help! Appreciated.

IFS will send cookies which can be used in the subsequent requests instead of the token. If you are building an app, you can keep that in mind and design the auth flow to use the cookies if they are present.Bearer token expires in 3600 seconds (1h) by default. How do you call API functions in the IFS cloud version?
Cage code has a different place in IFS .. Look for NATO Codifications Standard. You should not use the part number field for that. You’ll have to deal with the exceptions. We created a new field of 40 characters (called it MaterialNo) to keep the existing part number as we had it in SAP, then reindexed/renumbered all SAP part numbers which did not fit into IFS’s 25 characters limit. From SAP you have numeric ID for part numbers anyway, see if you can define that as PN, then everything else needs to bring over the new “MaterialNo” field with the SAP part number over. Modifications are extensive as everything includes a part number, (including printouts) starting from orders, inventories, pick lists, sales, quotes etc.

FND_CLIENT_LOGON_TAB logs .NET (IEE) _CLIENT_ data in Apps10 and previous. There’s no .NET Client in CLOUD, so this table is unused.
Migration jobs usually have 2 steps. Import data into a temp table, Copy the data from the temp table into the IFSAPP table. Make sure you run both steps.
Try run with the output in the client first. Is that working? If yes, at least you know the report query is ok for the parameter you enter. If the report is NOT working in the client you have a query to fix (make sure the parameter you enter has the right type for the query). In the error window, you can click “view detail” and see what the server says when you request the excel output.

Can someone please provide a list of tables which are cloned or not cloned (which one is shorter) as a result of an automated request between two cloud useplace environments?
The Oracle servers have time drift. (VKTM). When this happens, they can’t authenticate current user with the DB. Of course, SSO users can be authenticated .. and for them is fine. Open a ticket with IFS, they’ll restart the system and the time will sync. Happens every 3 months here.
In short, you don’t delete users in IFS. Just inactivate them, this will free up the license. There are other places besides persons which are linked with the users. It won’t be easy to delete, as all history linked with that account will become orphan.
