Figured it out,if you specify a Sales Promotion buy condition you have to also specify a get condition.
@rsczerowski too late to ask for a sample? We are trying to get the configurator to work and have not yet succeeded.maybe we can upload the changes.
@Richard Owen That worked perfectlyUpdated the Periods thru 2026, restarted the Demand Planner Service on the Server and refreshed the screen in IFS. TADA Working again. Thank you so much!!
Exactly what I was looking for.The Manager wanted the PDF document for training her new employee. Thanks for your quick reply!!
Is there a Sync to the time clock terminals that needs to be run?We are not out of licenses and the users are activeAlso I have learned that prior to year end users were added and successfully worked...still stumped as to what could be wrong though
@heibde It is as I suspected :-( Thank you for confirming!
this ended up being that the Position and organizational structure of the stockroom employees didn't have a location in the org structure inside ifs Just in case someone else comes across the same issues
@Charith Epitawatta Did you ever get a response for this?I have some users in Europe who are experiencing IFS 10 client slowness….we do not experience this on site or at our US facilities.

@Michael Kaiser Thanks! This will work fine!By chance do you know a way to allow contacts to respond as well…i realize this would be much more complicated to set up
@cperdue No, we have not tried this yet, is this a simple add on?
@PJIFS Yes the starting doc_no. Prefixed with AA0000 I did figure it out -Document Basic > Number counter Tab to create the number counter and prefix. Then Doc Class Management for the Default values and then to set the value for Number Counter set up in step one, and Number Generator as “ADVANCED”
Set up a print agent in that site….with the printers at that site configured into that print agent. Note: Make sure to remove the 2nd site printers from the original print agent config.Print agents should be located closest to where the users/printers are physically located…. Also another problem we experienced is we needed to set up multiple crystal reports instances in IIS. Sometimes when you have just one it can create a bottleneck there as well.
select * from dba_users should give you an overview of users in the system.
Hi,Are other reports working? Might be totally off base here...but...The one thing that sticks out to me above is that the appowner user is still IFSAPPNormally that is changed to be unique per company….something like 3 letters company name 1APP.To change to your unique appowner username go to your inetpub folder (C:\inetpub\wwwroot\IFSCRWebProd) and modify the ifs-crystal-config.xml with your unique appowner user. Also in the same area there is a Web.Config file that will need to be edited to be the path of your reports folder (where you are placing your reports) Edit this key value.<appSettings> <add key="OpenReportPath" value="C:\IFS\Reports"/> </appSettings>You will also need to enter the path into System Parameters.
What are the logs saying?Have you restarted agent1 windows service? Until you do that, it will still use the old configuration. Also have you installed the printer directly on server2 with a different name?Have you turned off agent 1 and then agent2 will then work? and visa versa? Not sure, if this would be an issue, but are the print agents named differently? I always gave each of mine a different name...depending on location of the printers or server. Not sure if the attached will help or not.
