SQL.INI and GENERAL_SYS of Track 2003-2

Hi All, I am getting below error while login to the application. "Error===IFSAPP.GENERAL_SYS must be declared ifsapp^.General_SYS.Init_Centura_Session__( :lsCategoryRestriction, :lsLUList, :lsSettings, :lsUserGlobal, :lsSessionInfo )Error=== I am tring to login as IFSIMP(app owner) and their is no user clled IFSAPP in the system as mentioned in the error message.I found below actions from some old cases. 1. Deploy the 'General_SYS' package and make sure that there are no deployment errors.- Could not find the above package from harvest to do a fresh deployment. 2. Inspect the 'SQL.INI' file. INSTRUCTIONS: In these types of error message, the appowner ID is always present before the "GENERAL_SYS.INIT_CENTURA_SESSION_" in the identifier. The fact that there is no User ID identified in this error message means that the system is not recognizing any user ID as the IFS Application Owner. The SQL.INI file probably does not have the appowner identified. There should be a line in the IFS

IFS Cloud: REST API int/main

Hi All,In App 10, we can use the APIs in compatibility application type and access them through the int gateway. However, it seems this option is not available in the cloud. Is there any possibility to expose all main APIs through the int gateway?Best regards, APP10 Cloud

IFS Cloud Multi Language Support

Hi, How can we translate the basic data or master data to the logged-in language?For example, if we log in as "En," we should see English values; if we log in as "German," we should see German values.

Hi, I am getting below error while reconfiguration the environment when Database deployment checks ticked. Ifs cloud database login issue

Hi,I can login to the application as IFSAPP and work without issue, but I can't use the same credentials to login to the DB.IFSAPP is not in the dba_users table either. How can we resolve the issue?I need to run SQL queries against the database that the application is using.I logged in as Sys and tried as ifsapp.XXXXX, but it also wasn't working.

Error has occurred while saving repository data

Hi All, An enviroenmnt(App8) re-configuration is failed and I could find the reason in the log “import_model_repository_20210616_163045.log”.Have any one experience with this and explain why this is happening and how to resolve this?I did a clean build but the issue didnt fixed. IFS CLOUD Delivery installation(error)

Hi All, [Sun Dec 11 15:40:33 GST 2022] - SEVERE: Failed to create namespace[Sun Dec 11 15:40:33 GST 2022] - SEVERE: Failed to install ifs-cloud. Collected logs from command:INFO: Creating namespaceUnable to connect to the server: x509: certificate signed by unknown authority (possibly because of "crypto/rsa: verification error" while trying to verify candidate authority certificate "xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx")SEVERE: Failed to create namespace The above error occurred during a delivery installation; the delivery went well in TEST, but this occurred during MIG installation. Anyone knows how to fix this?

API Integration Issue - Absence Record Creation Not Reflected in Database

Issue Summary: Records created via API not appearing in the database.Integration Point: "AbsenceHandling.svc/AbsenceRegistrations"Observed Behavior:API returns a "201" status code, indicating successful record creation.The created records are not visible in the database.Concern: Discrepancy between API response and database entries. Same payload can be used to create the record again which means no issues with the basic data.Seeking insights or suggestions on potential causes of this issue.

21R2-User profile is losing bookmarks that are assigned to a bookmark group.

Hi All, One of our customers has encountered the below-explained issue(The user profile is losing bookmarks that are assigned to a bookmark group.). 1.The user add a bookmark to a group (DEMO). 2.After that the users is editing his bookmarks (colors, sorting, adding new bookmarks) what ever). 3.After saving the new bookmark panel the bookmark group is empty. I tried the above scenario in our latest 21R2 environment but could not recreate the issue. I would like to have your experience knowledge or idea on this. Thnak you and Best regards,

How can we grant a permission set(in IFS Cloud) to a user group? #GSDTECH#

In IFSAPPS 10, we could grant a permission set to a user group But this is not possible in the IFS cloud. Is there any alternative to achieving the same? Is there an estimated date to have this in the IFS cloud?

APP9 - Failed to retrieve security information. Access to forms will be restricted.

Hi All, Failed to retrieve security information.Access to forms will be restricted. The aforementioned error was received while logging into the IEE as the application owner. Anyway, we could log into the application with access to a limited number of windows.The issue was resolved with the help of the below PL SQL blocks after analyzing the issue and the knowledge base.BEGIN Installation_SYS.Grant_Ifssys(TRUE); Fndbas_Installation_API.Post_Installation_Object; Fndbas_Installation_API.Post_Installation_Data;END;BEGIN Installation_Sys.Post_Installation_Object; Installation_Sys.Post_Installation_Data; END; I can see a number of records/cases with the same issue, and those have been caused by a clone, delivery, or data file corruption (IFSAPP_INDEX01.DBF). Regarding our specific scenario,I noticed that there were around 602 indexes to be rebuilt (SELECT * FROM database_sys_oracle_index_tab WHERE recommendation = 'Rebuild index.')A recent clone had been placed, but the pa
