HI ,There is a requirement to identify the COGS at the time of invoicing to the customer instead of the time of delivery.When the goods are delivered, the customer wants to transfer the inventory costs to a WIP account, and they want to remove them from the WIP and record them as COGS when they identify the sales.Is there a method to accomplish the above in IFS?The attempt to use a GL automatic posting rule by stating sales as the original code string and reversing the WIP and record COGS as automatic posting rows failed since the amounts for sales and the amount that needs to be subtracted from WIP are different. Highly appreciate your inputs here
Financials > Cash Book > Mixed PaymentConsidering that there is no possibility of the bank balance being negative, but as you can see in the picture, the bank balance in the cash account is negative, and in addition, we can make another payment from the same cash account. Our question is, why does IFS allow the bank balance to become negative?Is there a logical reason for this? Best Regards
Hi All,I have a clarification with regards to the Supplier Check Templates and would like to know the logic behind printing of 10 invoices per remittance if the Check Template ID is defined as LASER and 14 invoices when it is defined as NORMAL. Also observed that, when a cheque is printed with the Template ID Laser, it generates 2 result keys if more than 10 invoices are matched with a check.Example: Matching of 16 invoices to a check. Hello Experts, Currently the maximum limit for remittance items for supplier check is 10. Do you have any suggestions for a customer who is asking more than that. They already use he remittance code as ‘Separate’ and still not happy with that. Are there any already provided customizations? Thanks.
Can you advise what functionality in IFS will be able to handle the following scenario.Customer orders with Installation in British Columbia, the cost of the product is self-assessed 7% and remitted directly to Government of British Columbia. Customer is only charged GST for this type of sales. Company is responsible to self-asses and remit 7% of cost of product direct to BC Government.The expected journal entries are as follows.Credit BC PST , Debit COGS. I have tried both use taxes and tax withhold type tax codes but was not successful in meeting the above requirement.
Hi Team, We have situation where we Subscription charges which may consist Digital Charges and also ecommerce subscriptions. We have a designated expense code for Subscription charges and this will reflect in given account according to posting control. We would like to see the break down between Digital and Ecommerce charges and checked whether this can be fulfilled using the Process Code functionality. When checked in the application it was noticed that the process code can be used in the invoice modules but not displayed in expense sheet to select. Can anyone let us know whether this is possible and if so how it is done?
In an expense-capitalised project, all the costs have been transferred to project WIP in the project completion except the labour time. Any specific configuration/set-up required to capitalize the labour time reported?

Can a direct Shipment be billed in multiple Invoices? Example, we have a CO for 1500 pcs which creates a PO for 1500 from the supplier. When the 1500 pcs it Debits CoGS and Credits RNV for the receipt of the 1500 pcs. But the shipment is actually on two containers (one with 1000 pcs and one with 500 pcs). Can we create two separate invoices? One for 1000 pcs and another for 500 pcs? the test we did allowed us to change the qty on the invoice to 1000, but it will not allow us to bill the other 500 pcs. Hi All,I have a customer who is looking for a way to make the application meet all combination rules before a combination is allowed to post? As an example these combination rules are defined in the systemAccount 7640 Branch 4011 Department 45 was allowed to be entered and posted and while that does meet combination rule 90, it does not meet the requirements of combination rules 1036 or1063. Hi,I’m trying to reconcile the inventory value against the general ledger.I’m using the “Inventory Value per Period” page.Upon closer examination of the "In transit Qty" and how postings are carried out in the general ledger, I have come to suspect that we might have an incorrect setup?In the scenario of inventory transfers between different sites, I've noticed that the transactions do not completely clear account “1433-Stock movements”. Consequently, there remains a balance on this account which is not intended.Our accounting method employs the weighted average cost approach. It appears that when there's already a quantity of a particular item on a site, the system calculates a new weighted average cost prior to fully clearing the account 1433. Apps 10 UPD16 - I’m looking at using Open Balances History and have done some testing but wondering if anyone could confirm what I think to be true - but have a healthy does of skepticism. If we run it for a balance date in the past today it will act like a DeLorean Time Machine and tell us what the outstanding balances and over-due amounts were at that point in time.E.G. - we run it on 03/08/23 but put a Balance Date of 30/05/23 we will see invoices that had just been generated as Outstanding but nothing in Overdue. We then run on 03/08/23 putting a Balance Date of 31/07/23 if that customer was on net-30 day terms and had not paid the Balance it would show as overdue. Even if they had made the payment on 01/08/23. Hoping this is true - if it is, it had saved me a lot of custom dev work!
I have an issue with matching SUPOA in EUR with manual supplier invoice in GBP. Company currency is EUR. Supplier off-set functionality is not possible due to the currency difference.I tried to match through mix payment’s matching section, due to the adjustments I had to make the remaining balance zero, SUPOA amount is there after the mix payment is approved. Customer Statements of Account and Reminders are sent to Customers every month. Unfortunately, the mail address reflects ' NoNotReply@ifs.com' and probably goes to the customer's Junk mailbox and never to the correct person.We should have a formal email address e.g. for GB10 ldn.accountsreceivables@ifs.com, not DoNotReply@ifs.com as this could go to their Junk, spam or be considered a phishing email. Additionally, customers may want to genuinely reply but may consider it as a phishing email and, for that reason, not reply at all
When a purchase order is created for Computers, purchase group 123010, the system should automatically create the FA object in the FA register.Setup is done on the Object Group However when we try to release the PO, we get an error that the FA code part is mandatory
We have a posting issue with Supplier Payment. It is trying to post with a code part B (department) anc C (product) defined while the account is blocked for part B anc C. Looking at the Repost Supplier Item, I do not see how I can remove the value in code for department and for product.IP1 is defined with code part A only. There is no definition for the department and/or the product. Why does IFS push code part B and C onto the Supplier Payment posting?Is the only solution to put “CAN” for code part B and C on the 2119 account?

In Invoiced Purchase Orders, we cannot find the 4 receipt references are receipt matched.wondering why?these 4 receipts are received last year. you can see they are connected to activity sequence. in below activity sequence, it is still in Released status.
