HiMy company has a situation with a customer where we will supply the same part in either a single or a pack of 10. These are not manufactured by us and are dispatched by the sub-contractor direct to the customer. On single unit items, we receive a .csv file that we can upload into IFS without issue, but now that a client wants a pack of 10 in a single box, rather than 10 of the boxed single items, we are at lost as to upload into the system to allow us to monitor the warranty returns against the units serial number rather than the pack of 10 serial number. Find it awkward to not to be able to have a serialized part in a non- serialized upper level.Has anyone come across a similar situation with a solution?

I want to set up the following functionality: the scheduled worktime per week is 38,5h all hours obove the 40th hour worked per week (but maximum 5 hours) are multiplied with 0,25 this value should be booked into the timebalance (on sunday) Is there a way to identifiy these hours? And if yes, how can they raise the time balance? Thank you verry much!

What are the main components that my file MUST include in order for IFS to read the data and match it to the posted cash transaction? Can it be an Excel file? Hello, in the past, the "KPI lobby" in IFS Cloud was discussed here - the last information I found is that it involves a manual calculation, not automated, using BPA.In the system, there is the option to connect "workflow information," meaning the BPA process key is available, but how does one work with it?Could I please get screenshots of how to set up an automatic calculation of values under an element?Or some scenario how to create easy element with automatic calculation?How use workflow information in Measurement Configuration? We took the GDPR module in use in Apps9 and have used it with success. The challenge is making sure the data is solid before taking action. We had a custom quick report in use to see whose personal data would be handled (deleted or anonymized as per configs) and when. This report functions different now in Apps10 and needs to be remade.IFS core functionality for checking the situation beforehand was based on email notification in a way where one message per user per company per data entity (employee, person) per purpose was created. We tried it once and got over 2000 emails and do not want to use it ever again.What other verification methods are you using before the purges?`The aim is to make sure no premature deletions or anonymizations would be made and we’d like to see when and whose data gets handled. This is where the report is a nice way to do it, to have overall view at once whenever needed What other ways you are using? Does IFS Cloud have better core way than Apps9/10?
Trying to test Customer Repayment process for some credit balances that occur with some of our customers.I have a payment method set up that I use for the Direct Debit order, and I would like the posting to be the same for repayments (bank, GL Code etc). How can I attach a new (or the current one already set up) payment method to Customer Repayments?
Hi,I’m hoping to limit the account values available to select in purchase order pre-posting based on the user creating the PO.Effectively, I would like to use the functionality of Posting Combination Rules, but have the rules apply to the pre-posting in a PO rather than just being checked at the invoicing stage.For example if someone in the IT department raised a PO, the list of accounts available should be limited to show only accounts relevant to IT.The only proposed solution I’ve come across for this is using saved searches, but this of course does not stop a user selecting other accounts, and is difficult to manage in Aurena for a large amount of users.Does anyone have any other potential solutions? We’re using Apps10 and procurement end users are using Aurena.Thanks
Has any operators out there transferred an aircraft to another company and then tried to add it back to your fleet using the loader sheets and run into problems. Hey all,An employee would like to search for the phone number of a customer in Account Contacts to find him/her faster, however, currently there is no formatting standard employed for phone numbers. By this, I mean that a phone number can look like any of the following examples:+46 123 4567012-345 67012-345670 1234567 etc…This means that if I wanna find all instances of this phone number, I would only get the phone numbers that are uninterrupted (which might not even exist). Hi, I have taken over a role maintaining FAR , we are using IFS apps 8.I have a balance in Plant and Machinery Manual account, which I need to journal into Plant and Machinery account. However, I get a message that I need an object to book this journal to.This balance has been there for a number of years- I believe from when the company transferred their balances when they implemented IFS, so assigning this to just any object will be incorrect.I tried by amending the posting controls in the accounts listing, but no luck. How can I post this journal please?Any ideas much appreciated!

Hello EveryoneI wanted to know if there was a quicker way to reduce the size of pdf reports. On some of our reports, such as a customer order, I have pdf files that are 4 MB in size. I've tried reducing the size of the images of the company logo but this has no impact on the size of the pdf. Regards
Dear IFS Community, I need your help. Our customer needs a unique (or maybe not so unique) setup in our project management resp. financial project. The figures are.EstimatesSales: 3000Costs: 2000Margin: 1000The margin in %: 66,67 %. Project type is: Capitalize Expenses Revenue Recognition Method is: Actual Revenue. Contribution Margin: 0%. In the Periodical Capitalization posting, costs and the calculated costs (from sales) will be posted to unfinished goods vs. WIP. So far so good. But the problem is, if a customer invoice has been posted with sales from 2000, IFS should reverse the proportionally costs from WIP against unfinished goods. In our example should it be the 66,67 % from the 2000 EUR Sales = 1333,4 EUR. Calculation:Booked sales: 2000 EUR * 66,67% = 1333,4 EURThe cost of sales with 1333,34 should be reversed from the WIP accruals.IS THIS POSSIBLE IN IFS? Hi CommunityRegarding the change of transaction processing date, the issue arises where the price recorded in the journal entries for manufacturing withdrawals and finished goods receipts does not correspond to the valid standard cost at the time of recording.Although it was previously mentioned that this issue could be addressed as a standard service request, it was found that even if the recording date is corrected, the cost is not updated, rendering it unusable. Hello, I have created a custom enumeration with data as below; db_value Client_value Seq CS01 Class 01 Object 1 CS02 Super Class Object 2 CS03 Unattended 3 CS04 Restricted Object 4 CS05 Other 5 I have another custom enum, which created an LOV in a page where the user selects something called “class” from the LOV. The enum looks like this: db_value Client_value Seq CS01 Class 01 1 CS02 Class 02 2 CS03 Class 03 3 CS04 Class 04 4 CS05 Class 05 5 However, I want to create a link between these two enums;when a user selects a “Class”, the description (Client Value) From first table should be automatically fetched into a custom read-only field. I cannot use the same enum for the description because both types of client values are needed in different situations. How can I achieve this without using code?.Kalindu
For some reason someone has entered Tax ID Types with no definitions for some European companies.This causes a minor but annoying error in that Tax ID Type is mandatory when entering Tax ID No against customers and suppliers from these countries.The list is global so it has effect on all companies in the database. Very annoying as small issues can be.Is there any way to change the set-up so that Tax ID Type is no longer necessary for these European countries?
