Hi Shaun, Hope you are well.Typically i will take a backup of BR before uninstalling then remove before installing new version. Reason for backup being is that nearly every version of br exec server we have had delivered, at least 5 by now is that errors still occur and the issue has been going on for over 2 years.The errors are typically “out of memory” issues caused by excel even though its not actually out of memory as excel is not designed or recommended for automated use so to combat that we have a batch script running daily to close all excel applications left open (for no reason), close br service and console and then restart these which seems to resolve most of the issues we have faced.However, still waiting for IFS to supply a version that will work without monitoring.Client side running of BR works just fine.FYI we are on apps10 upd18 with the new BR version.ThanksDan
Thanks for reply but i was asking why some customers with output media set to email get the print preview but others do not. All of them have email set. Changing the output each time you need to preview is not a streamlined process to preview for an accounts person. Thanks
Hi @JessicaalbanHad the same issue and contacted IFS who supplied a delivery to apply which fixed the issue so we could stay on UPD 14 instead of jumping to UPD16 and introducing more potential bugs.

We have the same issue for apps 10 update 14. Logged with IFS. Let me know if you have had any answer to this.
Hi Maria,Thanks for reply. Ok, checking on the timeclock user i did see that those permissions were not enabled. I would have thought IFSAPP_ALL access would have sorted this as a test but those grants are not enabled either so have granted recalcuate, authorise to the Timeclock permission.So will see how it goes and if the problem recurs.Many Thanks
thanks Kelum, i didnt delete the columns but i altered to allow a null in test and it does resolve the issue. Case is logged with IFS so i will await their response.Thanks for the help.
Tried that and changed the delivery address and the defaults but same error message unfortunately.

Hi,Im on apps 10 but cant imagine it will be different.That field should be from an entry on document tax information.CUSTOMER_DOCUMENT_TAX_INFO. VAT_NOMight have a different name for US.
Hi Sadeepa, Im sure its probably resolved by now but for anyone else having issues with Vertex apps 10 integration and not receiving the jurisdiction code on the customer record.As the customer is company independent then IFS uses the default site/company of the logged in user to determine whether to make the call to vertex. So the default company of the user needs to be set up to use vertex and then it should work.Also remember to set the tax liability on the customer and company record to TAX.

I have looked through the package and i cannot see this to get objid_ and objversion_ Thanks
Sorry, it is apps 10. I have more experience with apps 8 so the set up is a little different. I wanted to avoid making the user HR app manager as its an open door policy. I went with copying all data and scheduling it into the IAL table to bypass the user_access_api which did the trick. Thank you for the helpful info!
