Cash Flow Exposure Report does not show any data

For the Cash Flow Exposure Report to show data, as a pre-requisite all the relevant cash flow sources related to the Cash Flow Analysis IDs that you want to get to the cash flow exposure report need to be reordered. Users need to right click and go to ‘Analysis Details Cash Flow Source’ from the relevant Analysis ID in Cash Flow Analysis screen. Then users can order the values via the right-click: Order option, after ticking the relevant sources. The ordering job can be run in the background.

Code Strings in Aurena

Hi Sophal, As the error message indicates, these additional code parts are available when Group Consolidation [GROCON] and Business Planning [BUSPLN] modules are installed/used. Even in IEE, these additional code parts are present in the Additional Code Parts tab in the Define Code String window.However, to use those the company should be used as a Master Company for Group Consolidation or should use IFS Business Planning. ---This is an excerpt of the help text---Defining Additional Code Parts:This activity is used to define how additional code parts should be used in a Master Company for Group Consolidation or in IFS Business Planning. Group Consolidation Year end Process

Hi Gaurav, Usually the master company for group consolidation is created as a container to run the consolidation flow only. [i.e. it is somewhat like a dummy company]And no transactions are usually entered there. Does your company enter any transactions [other than adjustment entries] in the master company? Since such other transactions are not entered, there is no necessity in general to do any period closures, year ends or clearing of costs/revenues in the master company. Group Consolidation Year end Process

Hi Gaurav, Adjustment entries, in general, are only applicable for the specific reporting period they are entered.That is the period entered here… If you require those to be present in the consolidated results in other periods [within same year or subsequent years], you would need to reenter them or copy them manually into future periods. [Note: some specific basic data setups can give alternative behaviours as well. What I mentioned above is the general behaviour] Regarding opening balances for the master company…You need to have an active consolidation structure and a balance version for the year opening period in the Consolidation Status window and consolidated balances should also exist for the last period of the previous year.Then using the right mouse button option "Update Opening Balances" in the Consolidation Status window, opening balances can be updated.To move the profit/loss in the process of updating opening balances, you need to setup relevant code strings in the Consolid

Group Consolidation Year end Process

Hi, it depends on the way you are performing consolidation, I think, and the scope of reports you need to perform in Parent Company. And the IFS system version, as I know that consolidation feature has been improved recently. If you want to report consolidated trial balance from your Parent company, you should close PnL accounts there - either by consolidation of year-end periods from children (assuming no entries are booked in Parent other than consolidation) or by regular year end-process (in this case you may consolidate regular periods only). In my current installation, out consolidation parent is fully-functional and we need to perform regular year end there, and we are consolidating periods 1-12 only. We are in IFS v. 7.5. Hi Adam, As you have mentioned, the Consolidation function in IFS has evolved and from the IFSApplication9 version onwards, a more comprehensive consolidation functionality has been introduced and it is now referred to as IFS Group Consolidation. When does the payment method get assigned to a supplier invoice. What table is this detail stored in?

Hi, In addition to the above info, just to keep you updated… At Supplier > Payment tab level, you can use the “Use Default Payment Method for Installments” checkbox to get the default payment method added to Installments.Further, as indicated in the other image below, the payment methods can be defined at Payment Term level as well. Error when loading Camt54 file

Hi Sophal, I came across a similar instance where users had observed this error when the CAMT file had the format camt.054.001.04. When checking the file attached to this query, it seems the file attempted to be loaded is also having the format camt.054.001.04. Kindly note that IFS is currently supporting only camt 054.001.02 version. This would be the reason for the error observed. This requirement has already been analyzed by our RnD teams and there is a plan to release fixes needed for this [most probably in the IFS Applications 10 track with Update 14 and in IFS Cloud 21R2]. Until a fix is received, a workaround would be to get the file from the 054.001.02 version. I also came across an instance where a user who faced the issue had mentioned that when she manually edited the file to camt 054.001.02, the file worked. May be this option could be thoroughly tested in a non-LIVE environment and see if that approach can be used in the interim. Best regards,GayathrieIFS Global Support

Customer Reminder Printout- Our Reference

Since the IFS App8 version, the AR Customer Contact [who can be defined in the Customer >Payment tab] gets added to the reminder printout, when the “Print AR Contact” is checked in the used reminder Template.The AR Customer Contact replaced the Our Reference. Hi Gayan, Thank you for further clarifying. If a contact within your company is needed to be added, yes, you should use the “AR Contact” field. These contacts can be defined in the AR Contact window [Financials > Payment Basic Data > General Payment > AR Contact]. If you prefer to add the AR Contact at the customer level, then the field can be updated with the relevant AR contact.If it is kept blank, and there is an AR Contact marked as ‘default’ in the AR Contact window, that contact will get added to the reminder. Note: Please read the help text on the default check box. Marking an AR Contact as default could result in the contact getting added to other documents sent to customer as well, not just the reminders. “AR Customer Contact” relates to the contact at the customer end who will be handling the documentation sent, and would not suit your requirement.However, the reminder printouts can handle both info. Hi Kalhari, In Aurena, if the user wants to search employees whose name contains part of the search criteria [eg: contains “Alain”] instead of searching with wildcards [as Alain%], the user can use the ‘tilde’ sign [~] to search [eg: ~Alain].Since it will then fetch names where the searched term is present in any part [beginning, middle and end], user will get more results. Expense Sheet Ordering

Hi Matthew, I am not able to specify the exact reasoning behind this sort logic. However, it seems even in App7.5 version, the same sorting happens. And as you have noted, if there are multiple expense lines for the same expense code and date, it seems the sort happens still ignoring the sequence. However, if it is useful, noted that users can use the following option to get the lines sorted with the sequence number.Hope it helps. External Supplier Invoice create invoice Error

Hi Gaurav, As you have noted, the reported issue was present in UPD6 and was corrected by a code change that happened in UPD7.The issue was that the application was incorrectly validating the payment address ID against the supplier's general address IDs. Group consolidation: Intercompany Elimination

Hi Yoshini, I did a quick analysis on the above query and the following are my thoughts. Intercompany elimination usually relates to the activity of a parent company removing transactions that happened between subsidiary companies in a group.It seems in your structure there are only 2 entities.EHT1 is using Equity Majority and in consolidation terms it can be considered as a subsidiary. EHT2 is using Equity Minority and in consolidation terms it can be considered as an associate.Accordingly, the transactions have happened between a subsidiary [EHT1], which your group has majority ownership and control, and another company [EHT2], that your group does not have majority ownership and control, but have invested some money or assets in.These transactions would be considered as happened between a company in your group of companies [EHT1] and a third party company [EHT2]. EHT2 is considered third party, since, as mentioned above, your group has only invested in that company but do not yet ow

Is it possible to add Cash Account Text to Navigator? How?

Therefore, if the user wants to add this to the navigator he/she may need to enter a navigator entry for each company and account combination. This gets added to the navigator and user can save the profile to retain it.

Is it possible to show all cash accounts for one company? If yes, how to edit The URL ? Answer: as communicated above, Cash Account Texts window is company and account specific. By design, the window will show only one record at a time and the record is automatically created at the time of creation of the cash account. Accordingly, even if you generally populate the window by accessing it in the normal way [via RMB from the Cash account], still only the line for a single account is shown.Changing this behaviour may need to be handled as a customization.I am not aware of any simple ways to do this using any existing application options. 2.
