Problem on customer invoice payment

Hi,To me it seems that you have already paid the invoice. The system seems to be telling you that it has created an advanced payment already. I think you should see this against the final invoice or latest when you are paying it.

Serial Tracking

This should be possible to do behind the master part but if there are already something in stock, then you have to manually assign lot batches for those components to be able to toggle on lot batch tracking. You have to change these settings behind your master part.

ISO20022 Payment file not getting trigerred to the designated folder

Hi Razan,Where are you aiming to move the file after it’s being created?If you have an server, you need to have IFS connect setup with routing rule, address, and transformer. Those will then connect and route the file into the server location. Also those define the queue for the file.

Hi,Write-off codes should work on overpayments as well. You have to enable write-off for partial payment in company level. Here is also a previous discussion over the topic where difference item was suggested as well. How can i write off a customer over payment | IFS Community

Hi,You can use write-off codes to do this. Also, if this happens to you often, you can also set a tolerance for these payments to use a write-off code on default. This is done on company level under payment basic data.

Error Message - "No recognition posting to be posted "

Hi,For some reason I’m not able to view you attachments. But shouldn’t the import balances act as a recognition posting already? Once you have imported the balances you should have right amounts on right accounts thus there is not anything to do the recognition posting on. The import should result in two vouchers with transaction type ‘’Opening balances’’ in the voucher information tab under your contract.When you check the related accounts/vouchers to the import do they have the correct amounts?

Depiciation on hold

HI @ijersek,I understood that you have only set from date for the objects without until date. At least for me, if I create and depreciation proposal for the held object I am unable to post this empty depreciation proposal and it causes some kind of error where I am unable to end the holding from depreciation.Only way I got the depreciations to work again was to rollback transactions that were held from the depreciation. After that I added then end date for the holding period and ran a new proposal. After I this the hold worked as expected.Do you have similar results that you are unable to set the ‘’until date’’ to your objects you are holding from depreciation? According to my tests, I was not able to end this holding without adding the ‘’until date’’ by rollbacking the held transactions.

Hi @ijersek,There is a dedicated page for this at least in Cloud called ‘’Objects Hold From Depreciation’’ where you are able to add objects to the list with wanted dates for holding them from depreciation.I don’t know which version you are using. Do you have this available and does it fill in your needs?

How to identify fields we have made Mandatory - Apps9

@PRODQ Oh okay. I dug a little deeper about that but wasn’t able to find anything from solution manager or behind the logical units. There is only list for conditional fields but nothing on object attributes for regular fields.

Hi,I think the mandatory fields should turn red once you click + to create new record. Tested this in our environment and at least in there all the selected mandatory fields are turning red in color after toggling them as mandatory and clicking the plus icon.

Running Lease Periodic Accounting for Periods Already Closed

Hi,I haven’t tried to run the proposal on already closed period. However, to my understanding the system should not do anything on the proposal for historic periods. It should only use these periods to calculate the interest rates and then the proposal posting date would be on the chosen date on the one voucher created based on the proposal. Maybe you could test this in your test environment.Another option is to use the import balances function. With this you are able to bring in balances of older lease accounting assets (used normally for moving contracts from legacy systems). With the import balances option you are able to enter the historic transactions before creating any accounting in the system. With this you should be able to do what you explained above, but in here you wouldn’t create any proposals as they have been created in ‘’history’’.

Setup of posting control for FAP93, FAP94, FAP95

Hi @evjose,So when you import the object, FAP75 should post the remaining lease liability into lease liabilities, and FAP 93 will do the counter posting for interim import account.Then FAP74 will post the amount of the right of use asset to the acquisition account, and FAP94 will do the counter posting to interim import account.Then FAP3 will post the accumulated depreciations for your right of use asset, and FAP4 will do a counter posting into the interim account.The result is that the interim import account will have a balance of 0, as the liability and depreciations should equal to the original acquisition value.If the FAP 95 is needed, it think it should also have a interim account as counter part.

HI,You could also check your default app for the file type to see if the action actually saves your preference for the default file types in the settings. This can be found from Microsoft’s own settings: settings---applications---choose default apps by file type (scroll down to find this) Here is a screenshot of the setting:

Hi, As there is no picture of it, have you checked that in Posting controls M42 and M58 you have also correct valid from and valid to dates. Also check that you have the posting type details added for the new organizational units.

Hi,The control types ‘’C60 Charge type’’ and ‘’C61 charge group’’ are only available on posting type ‘’M65 Purchase charges, not absorbed in inventory value’’.
