Thanks!I think that, with a little manual work and some documented work processes, you should be able to use IFS and Document Management as a help.A simple approach is to use a quick report that is scheduled to run at a certain interval, that would list documents created (today - 7 x 365) days ago (or were checked in, or modified, or whatever date seems most relevant).You could even use a custom event for this. It would trigger on document creation or some other action that happens regularly, and check for "old" documents. If there are any hits, an event action could send an e-mail or stream message to some responsible person that will take care of making the document obsolete and, optionally, removing it from the system.So, if the main requirement is what you described, I think the answer is Yes! 🙂💪🏻

I don't have any experience to share, but IFS can probably support a company that wants to work according to that standard. Like many standards a customer wants to follow, it's on them to follow the standard. Hi,I would not want to provide a recipe for you on what low-level methods you need to call, since it might change at any time. I recommend that you look at what our clients do. If this is for Apps 10, you will see everything you need in the Debug Console. If it's IFS Cloud, you can see what database calls the projections are doing in the Debug Console or Log window and hopefully call them from the migration job (completely untested).In theory, you can call our projections, which should be safer (fewer, more high-level calls), via IFS Connect's "REST Sender".

Hi,Depending on how hard you think it is to find the right document (with Asitha's suggestion it might suddenly have become easier...), you might want to consider doing the connection from the other side, by finding the document and connecting the objects instead, here:In the Object Key field, type to find your object or, if that's hard (because the LOV does not search well on what you type), use Find to open the more detailed Find dialog. In there, you can filter on any attribute from the object and even save filters:Perhaps the Duplicate command will save some typing as well, once you made one connection:If it's very important for you to make this as efficient as in IEE, you can consider a proper modification or, possibly, a configuration (custom event).From IFS Document Management we cannot affect how the attachments work, but we have some control over the Objects tab above. Report Rule to connect Shop Order Pick List to Shop Order

@Mathias Dahl @UTALOETSAN I just did a small test. → SHOP_ORDER_REP → I could use the ShopOrd LU in the Report Rule action → SHOP_ORD_CONSOL_PICK_LIST_REP → ShopOrd LU is not available in the list. Since SHOP_ORD_CONSOL_PICK_LIST_REP is a picklist report which consolidates multiple shop orders, it makes sense that you’re not able to link this PDF to a Shop Order, since the picklist might reference multiple SOs. So, I’d say this works as designed? Possibly it figures out the LUs/entities used as data sources in the report, and present those only. A bit limited, I would say, but also a possible design decision.

Strange... It cannot possibly be the case that the list of LUs is hard coded. Did you happen to enable document connections for ShopOrd recently? If not, then I suggest you file a support case to have someone look at this in detail. The case should be for the reporting framework, not IFS Document Management.

Is it possible to not have Document Title default to the file name

Someone recently did a small hack using BPA/Workflow where they basically intercept the request from the client to the server and change the response. I think the same technique might be possible to use here. That is, when we send the file name to the server to get a title back to suggest to the user, a Workflow might be able to change the result.Here is a link to the post:Might be worth trying out.

Aurena agent installation method issue

Hi Pasan,At the moment we only have one version of the MSI and, as you found out, it's a version that is meant to be installed in the context of a normal user, not an admin.I suggest you create an idea in the Ideas section here on IFS Community so that we can look into the possibility of creating another version that is better suited for being pushed out to clients.The details shared above should help out if and when we can prioritize this work.As for now, customers need to create their own installation package if the one we provide does not work. The disadvantage is of course that such a package will not be signed by IFS (but the exe file inside will be).

In the first document I linked to above, at the bottom, we mention an assistant we have that can be used to move document files from one repository to another:If you are planning to use Apps 10 for some time more, you can use this assistant to move files out of the database. However, if you soon are planning to upgrade to IFS Cloud I would instead propose that you keep the files in the database and, once you have upgraded, move them out to File Storage. We have a tool for doing that work:https://docs.ifs.com/techdocs/23r2/030_administration/210_cloud_file_storage/fsmigtool/Documents can easily be downloaded using REST, yes. You can use Chrome's developer tools and the Network tab there to see what network calls are done for downloading document files. Make sure to disable the Aurena Agent when you do this, or else you will not see the actual download there.

@PRODQ I don't know if there is an idea about this, sorry. To be on the safe side you should create one.As for if and where this limitation is mentioned I also cannot say if we did it. We should of course inform customers when functionality has not been implemented/uplifted/whatever we call it, from IFS Applications to IFS Cloud, but sometimes we simply missed doing so. That's what I can say at this time.

Sorry, I don't want to shortcut our support process. If you want, ask again, but there is a big risk you will get the same response.IFS Applications and IFS Cloud and the Aurena/IFS Cloud Web Client framework is different from IFS EE, in this respect and others. In order for you to see your attachments done in IEE, there need to be a page with the object in the header of the page, or in some list (lists support attachments). In your case, IFS has chosen to design things differently this time and as a side effect you don't have as convenient access to your documents anymore. The only solution that they/we/IFS can do is to introduce, say, a simple list page where the objects can be seen and also the attachments.Did you try the workaround, by the way? Once you learn how to use that (what to search for), it might not be as bad as you think. Perhaps some saved query can help, or even some Bookmarklet (search for that here on IFS Community).

23R2 E-Sign Integration

By the way, you asked about how to get it to work. Very little is needed, actually, once a customer has bought it. Actually, there is no setup needed at all, apart from setting up Docman as usual (document classes, repositories, etc.)One important thing to mention though is that we don't support the Esign functionality in Remote Deployment in this release. We want to enable it for Remote as well at later time, but when is not decided yet.I'm demo environments, you should be able to ask IFS IT department to enable it via a case.
