HiPart cost is the cost we have in the Part Cost, when we say part Cost , we also need to mention what is the Cost Set.There can be different Part Costs for the same part, in its different cost sets.The Cost Template and Cost buckets in those templates basically decides what are the Costs to be included in the Part Cost (Estimated material Cost, Machine runtime Cost etc). Inventory Valuation Method and Part Cost Level of a specific part decide how the Unit Cost for that particular part is established. Inventory Valuation Method = Standard Cost and Part Cost Level = Cost per Part will inherit the Cost in the Cost Set 1 as the Unit Cost of the Part when Copy to Cost Set 1 is performed.Copying to Cost Set 1 will not set the unit Cost for other parts, their unit cost is set based on the actual Transactions.Configurable Parts with Inventory Valuation Method = Standard Cost and Part Cost level = Cost per Configuration, we can set the Unit Cost for specific configurations by the “Save Standar

Hi Now your parent part (the topmost part to which the cost calculation is performed) is Purchased.So have you defined estimated material cost / Supplier Price in the Supplier for Purchased part for this parent.In other words what is the purchased cost defined for this parent part?I think you need to enter Purchased Costs based on the Cost buckets of the selected template for this parent part. E.g if the Cost Bucket 110 is present int the template P-141, then enter some Estimated Material Cost for the part and perform the Cost Calculation again.If Planned purchase price Bucket is present, then enter a Price in the Supplier for Purchased Part record for the Primary Supplier.
HIWhat is the sample size in the analysis?the nonconforming trigger creates to analyze the remaining qty, if the entire qty = sample size, that is 100% inspection, then no new analysis created in case of nonconforming results as there is nothing left to inspect.Also the Trigger needed to be connected to the Control Plan Line;Also it is required to Complete the Analysis Result.Then a system generated Analysis will be created to inspect the remaining Qty.
If you have the Price defined, then it's highly unlikely to get the 0-cost message if you have not got it when the part is Manufactured.The cost calculation filters the Structure Type to be considered when running the Part Cost Calculation.The Structure Multi level lists down the components of the Parent irrespective of the Inventory Part Type. That how it is designed to work.
Hi Teeni;For the first one I think you can use “Part Costs” window and select the required alternates or filter and select the filtered records. Then you should be able to use “Calculate Cost for Selected Parts” and that should calculate the Costs for all the selected Alternates.For copy costs to cost set 1 today we can have unit cost for the default alternates only, but if your part is Configured and uses Part Cost level of Cost Per configuration, then you should be able to keep standard cost for different configurations created from different alternates using the function “Save Standard Cost”
Hi.This result must be for a Sample size 50 of variable data, there must be other lines in the Analysis result that are not conforming and the number of non conforming samples must exceed the acceptance limit.So the entire lot is rejected and that status is inherited to every result line. This could be one reason.
Technically it should be possible to alter the LOV view and LoV Where to something like above. Pease contact HR team on how to have this configured as they own the logic.

What is the Track you used? and also could you share the screens showing all the result lines for Variable data?
Hi This question actually to be answered by the HR team as they own this Time Clock.However i found one way to get this corrected.That is to add the Object (In this case “Start Production”) against the Time Clock type “Shop Floor Default” Here i have changed the Button Text type to “Start Production1” to easily locate the added items.Then all the required Items for the Start Production is added, we can either delete the old or delete what's not necessary (duplicates) later from the newly added one.
Hi;There is no specific setup.The material must have cost defined and for the first operation, the cost of connected material and non connected material are included for the Cost of Scrap.for other operations the WIP up to that operation and cost of any connected material are considered.The example below I have a Purchased Component Part with the estimated material cost defined (not connected to any operation in the Product Structure/ Shop order material Tab).Then report Scrap for 1 piece.In inventory Transaction History I get the material cost in the Scrap Transaction as below. Please check if you have any material Cost in the Shop Order Estimated Cost and if the Operation you scrap is the first, then either you need to have unconnected material or material connected to that first operation to get the material Cost in the Scrap Transaction.For the other operations, then the previous operations must have material cost (Connected or non connected Material) or the Operation being Scrap i

Usually idea of having a non-conforming trigger is to perform 100% inspection for the lot in case of detecting nonconformities for a portion of the Lot during the inspection. Then the remaining qty of the lot is to be inspected for the same criteria (as entered in the Data points). In your case the Part is already inspected. So there is no need to do reinspection based on the same criteria that has been used for the part.You can create any amount of analysis manually, simply select the Operation in Shop Order/ Operations tab and RMB Select Shop Order Analysis/ Create. make sure the Shop Order is not in Planned or Closed State.
