I cannot access the original response as outlined below. Can you help me get access to the original post? We are needing to do this same thing but DOP Headers will not work for us.
That is doable but doesnt allow for a one stop shop within the PO process. Just seems odd the system would not allow for a RMB to take you to where the transaction is associated with this. Like Supply Chain Order Analysis does as an example.
I can see the supplier material on that RMB but only until I receive on the PO. Once I have recieved on the PO, that RMB option is no longer there.
I understand the reply. However, what I am asking is how do we successfully count items that are sitting reserved on a workbench that a user has in hands and is working on? It does not seem logical that a person who is counting an item is expected to walk to each and every desk to determine what they have on their desks or not. Is there another option to show, in the cycle count, which items are reserved and not techincally just sitting on a warehouse shelf?
I agree, that normally that is occuring, but in this case, the planning screen is not updating.
I dont see it in APPS 9 so I’m guessing its only in 10.
Earlier in this thread, you mentioned later verisions of IFS you can undo scrap. We are using APPS 9. Is this functionality available in this version? If so, how so we do it?
@Rasika Lakmal but what if each order has a different ship via? One order could be overnight shipping and the other could be standard. Its not always the same.
@Rasika Lakmal I dont quite understand why that is working that way. If we have stated that a specific line/order should be overnighted as an example, why would that not transfer to the PO? Its not about our supplier ship via...its how quickly the customer wants the product on site. Isnt that the whole point behind direct delivery?Thank you!
I cant really share a screen shot as it happens as part of the ‘Copy Project’ process. We are copying from one project to another. The Sub Project, Activities and Tasks all come over with correct data, except the Quantity field on a Task line does not copy when using the functionality.
@EnzoFerrari this will not work for us as we already issued the credit on the RMA. Any other suggestions?
Attached is the screenshot they get when theyt try to receive on the RMA.
I am still getting an error when I try to receive on the RMA even though the financial transaction has hit. The order line is still showing as Delivered.
I am more looking for how to make it excluded from any customer lookup within a BO, SQ, CO? Thanks!
We have performed all of these steps and a customer can still be linked to business opportunity, sales quote and customer order. It only fails when we try to invoice. How do we get them to not show up in any of our customer lists as active?
