Discount % UPD11

Hi,We have just switched to UPD11. We have noticed that from time to time, when we fill in customer order line, system gives the message “The filed Discount % must have a value”  When comparing to previous update I can see that before, when we filled in the CO line, filed “discount %” was filled in automatically with 0. Now, when we add CO line, it is filled in with 0, but when we fill in sales part number is emptied. It is filled with 0 again when we save the whole line – but unfortunately not always. Than we get above message and must fill in 0 manually. Does anyone face the same issue in UPD11? Could that be a bug?Best regards,Bernadeta

Costs and hours progress disappears from project screen

Hi,We have noticed a strange behavior in project navigator. When we report hours both cost and hour progresses are reported. However during the day for some reasons progress is reduced to 0% although the activity is reported. Does anybody know what can cause the issue?Best regards,Bernadeta

Schedule multiple projects in Gantt - calendar issue

Hi,I have an issue with scheduling projects in Gantt.My project calendar is 7:00-15:30 / 5 days a week.When I schedule one single project with lag hours project activities and lag hours in between are scheduled according calendar given on project.If I schedule 2 projects (multicompany) with the same calendar assigned suddenly lag hours are scheduled according 24/7 calendar instead of project calendar.If I have 34 lag hours in practice it means:When schedule singe project it gives 4 working days (34 hours / 8,5 hour a day) When schedule more than one project it gives 1,4 day (34 hours / 24 hours per day)Is there any way that system follows calendar given on project even if I schedule more than one project in Gantt?Best regards,Bernadeta

Manufacting control plans for parts with batch control (triggers)

Hi,We would like to start using manufacturing control plans in our PROD env. The requirement is to have the analysis created every 2 hours for currently produced batch number (as all of our parts are under batch control). The issue is that if we use trigger to run every 2 hours system generates analysis for ALL batch numbers in the same time (not only for the currently produced one) no matter if the batches had been already completed to stock or not. Any suggestion how could we solve it?In help we can read: “Manual - This is not triggered by any existing value in the system, instead it can be used to create custom defined triggering points and connect them to this trigger type”. Do You think that manual should be used in our case? If so – any suggestions how to do it?Best regards,Bernadeta

No access to Project Management\Plan and Execute\Project

Hi,We are trying to get an access to Project Management\Plan and Execute\Project.We can see there is a line called Project in navigator, but it has no content and it cannot be granted to any permission set.Could it be that it has changed since UPD13?Or is it some license / enabled module issue?Best regards,Bernadeta

Milestone operation vs parallel paremeter on Shop order

Hi,We had a set up like below on our routings. There were 2 operations – first extruding, second packing. As we did not want to report each operation separately so we chose milestone operation - when we reported second operation the first one was automatically reported.As extrusion and packing usually happens parallel we changed the parameter on second operation into parallel. From that moment automatic reporting of previous operation stopped working. To solve the issue we started using ‘Auto report of operation parameter’ when we completed into stock.The problem appears if we add one more operation to above connected to finishing. We would like to  have operation first and second reported when we report second operation. However because of parallel parameter operation first is not reported. It is reported when the last (third) operation is reported .That causes issues – especially that components are not buckflused when consumed. Is there any way to solve it?Best regards,Bernadeta

Alternate component replacement logic

Hi,Do You know where I can find documentation describing alternate component replacement logic? I am interested in what system takes into account if we can use the same material as alternate for different components. If there are several shop orders where the alternate component can be used what decides about alternate component order usage suggestions – is it shop order number, creation date, need date, start date, etc.Best regards,Bernadeta

Price in part based tab changes after keying in rounding factor

Hi,When we key in rounding factor to existing records in price list (part based tab) the price is changed to Calculated sales price (The sales price calculated from the base price). Is there any reason for that or is it a bug?Best regards,Bernadeta

Manual gross weight from SFW is not copied to handling unit in stock

How to exclude wrong credit invoice from BI statistics?

Hi,Could You advice how to solve below BI issue, please?1. We key in currency rate once a month. In August 2021 instead EUR-DKK= 7,4379 somebody keyed in 74379 by mistake.2. As we use System date as pricing method, customer orders keyed before such mistake in EUR had right calculation, but unfortunately after invoice creation they inherited wrong currency rate – so in EUR everything looked ok but in DKK we had incredible amounts.3. All of problematic invoices were credited in 2021. Unfortunately by mistake one of the invoice date was keyed in in AUGUST 2022 instead AUGUST 2022, so again this year we had a wrong invoice – this time credit invoice4. As we did not find a functionality allowing to correct already Printed Credit invoice, our finance dep used instant invoice to correct the figures in IFS. This however does not have an impact to our Profitability BI statistics- as they include transactions generated through customer orders. So now in BI we have incredible amounts in “-“ becau

Rebate invoice does not contain site

Hi,When we create rebate invoice based on rebate agreement / periodic settlement there is site missing - as shown below. Site is visible on rebate transactions, but not on further rebate invoice. Does anybody know why it happens? What kid of settings are we missing?Best regards,Bernadeta

Shipment tolerances

Edit customer contact

Hi,In IFS documentation I can read that contact created on customer can be updated both from person and customer contact level. From customer contact it should be possible to do by RMB > Edit > Full name dialog box. Unfortunately under RMB > EDIT I do not have such option. Could that be that I am missing something in permision sets? If so - could You tell what? Thank You,Bernadeta

APB set up matrix

Hi,We are a company that is producing different plastic profiles. For planning we use APB. As we may produce several items that have the same shape (tool) but different lengths we want to put them together and reduce set up time between shop orders. We were told that we can use set up matrix and sequencing. During test it worked fine, unfortunately, after setting this up for all our tools, it created millions of combinations and APB crashed. Is anyone else also having the same requirement? If so – how do You handle that? Do You use APB or perhaps other planning tool? Condition codes vs Availability Control ID

Hi,Is anybody using conditional codes for serial tracked items? I am wondering why if I change condition code from the one that does not have Availability Control ID to one that has it – system assigns that Availability control, but if I do it opposite way – from the one that has AC ID to the one that does not have it, system does not remove the AC ID?
