Preview PDF file on Document Revision screen

Is there a way to view PDF files without downloading them directly from the Document Revision screen, similar to how it is possible on the attachment panel in other screens? Is this possible with a custom command maybe?In my case I will have a lot of documents not attached to any objects, I would still like to be able to view the PDF documents without downloading them.

MWO sync rule for customer records

I would like to have the customer data to be updated as often as possible in the MWO app so it is available to me when creating new work on the app. The reason is that in my scenario field technicians will also have the ability to create new customer records (either in Aurena or in the CRM Companion app) and then create new work for them.How can I make it so the customer information is pushed to MWO as often as possible?@kathlk do you maybe have an idea on this?

Attached documents not visible on MWO

I'm having issues getting documents attached to a work task to appear on MWO. Does anyone have an idea what the issue could be? I am attaching a document on the Work Task in Aurena but not seeing this document in the MWO app (iOS or Windows). I already checked the following:User has access to the document (same user can see it in Aurena) Document class is set as a mobile document class and to push to mobile User has docman permissions. I can attach new documents on MWO without any issues Document is released IFSSERVICEENGAPP user is connected to the site I'm using Cleared caches, disconnected and connected MWO, initialized etcThis is on 23R1.

Unable to stop clocking after failed transaction

I am unable to finish a work task due to active clockings, but I don’t see a way that I can finish the clocking. I started and stopped travel on MWO, but the transaction failed for stopping the travel. Now I am not able to close the clocking in the browser, and I don’t have the work task available anymore in MWO. How can I stop time clocking or close the work task in any other way? I already tried initialising the app but that didn’t work.

Discrepancy between pickup task and assignment status

I have a pickup task where the status of the header is not matching with the status of the assignment, preventing me from completing the pickup task on MWO. After releasing the pickup task, accepting and starting it on the mobile, I got some errors when trying to close it on MWO. To figure out what was causing these errors I tried completing the pickup task in Aurena, and after correcting some missing data I was able to complete the pickup task in Aurena. However, now the status of the pickup task is ‘Picked Up’ , but the assignment status is still ‘Work Started’. When I try to complete (or incomplete) the pickup task on MWO I get a failed transaction with the error ‘ORA-20132: JtPickupTask.NOTHANDLED2: The operation "PickUp" is not allowed for Jt Pickup Task objects in state "Picked Up". ORA-06512: at "IFSAPP.ERROR_SYS", line 140’ How can I close the assignment on the pickup task? Now it keeps showing up on MWO after initializing. I tried to incomplete it from the Transferred Tasks sc

Company access error on Spend Analysis

I am trying to generate spend analysis data in my environment, but I keep getting an error saying that I don’t have the required access to the companies. On the Spend Analysis settings I have only set up 1 company to which I do have access. The category assortment on the spend analysis settings also only has the same company, and there are no transactions for parts on belonging to this assortment.Are there any other reasons why I would be getting this error, and how do I resolve this?This is on IFS Cloud 22R1.

Colouring of tasks based on task type in Schedule Board

I want to change the colouring of tasks in the Schedule Board based on the Task Type. I have set this up in the Color Settings screen, and this is working as expected in the Smart Client. I don’t see the same thing in the Web Client though.Is there a separate setup for this for the web client, or is this not possible? I am using FSM 6.12. Color Settings Setup Smart ClientWeb client

Web client schedule board task display

I want to show the country where a task is performed on the task display in the web client schedule board, but when I select the option it doesn’t show me anything for any task. I’ve tried both the ‘PlaceCountry’ and ‘Place’ options in this list. I have given a country on the place that has a few tasks, but it is not showing on the schedule board. Am I missing something? This is on FSM 6 Update 12

RFID tag reading on Mobile Work Order app

Does anyone have experience with using RFID tags to identify Objects in the MWO app, similar to how there is the ability to scan a barcode or a QR code? The idea is that there is an RFID tag located on the object, which the technician would be able to scan using his mobile device to get the object information. I am assuming that this would need some hardware that is able to scan the RFID tag, but I would then also be interested in how that data is used in the MWO app. Does anyone have any experience with this?

Data usage in MWO app

Are there any guidelines regarding the amount of mobile data that is used in the MWO app (ideally the apps 10 version)? I’m referring to the mobile data usage for a typical technician on a typical day.I realise that this question is extremely open ended and it will depend on the amount of tasks that are synced and the number attachments and pictures that are available. It would be great if there is any information on this, or maybe if anyone can share their own experience?

Activity in PSO for information only

Is it possible to have an activity visible in PSO without it actually taking up the availability of the resource? Our customer is interested in having some visibility of certain events on a resource during a specific time-frame, but does not want to prevent that resource from being assigned to other activities during that time. The idea is that this would be visible in PSO while still having the resource available at that time.One thing I could think if was fixing all activities to date/time and to the resource, effectively forcing overlaps in the schedule. Would there be another way to achieve this without impacting the flexibility of the schedule?If there is any other way to do this without using an activity (but it still being visible in PSO) that would also be great.
