Financial Connector - setup guide

Hello, Has anyone more detailed information on the full setup of the financial connector? I have done the setup to transfer Customer Invoices. I got to the point that the application messages are generated and xml files written to SFTP. What I don’t see is data in Transferred Customer Invoices Analysis screen. This makes me think the setup I did is not complete. I’d appreciate any feedback from anyone that worked with the Financial Connector before. What I was able to do thus far regarding Transfer of Customer Invoices via Financial Connector:Make sure Send_Customer_Invoice is enabled + correct Receiver/Sender is set Define for which companies the transfer process should be executedDefined Routing Address:Defined Routing Rule” Run Transfer Customer InvoicesApplication Messages are generated and files transferred to SFTP:Invoices also appear in Customer Invoices in TransferHowever they don’t appear in Transferred Customer Invoices Analysis screen. Sanction Check - Trade Compliance

Dear Community, I’m interested in gathering your feedback in integrating 3rd party Sanction Checks tools into IFS Cloud. What 3rd party Sanction Check tools have you worked with that preferably allow for API connection?Basically, the requirement is that every time a supplier/customer contact is created, the data should be sent to a Sanction Check tool and the result should set the customer/supplier as expired and a note field updated that the customer/supplier contact was found on the blacklist of the sanction check tool.

Page Designer - Command - cannot write condition for Enabled field

Hi All, Does anyone has any ideas why on the Print Invoice command there’s no possibility to write a condition on when that command should be visible?In the below screenshot you see that for Print Invoice command, the enabled field is a checkbox only whereas for the Reprint Original Duplicate command, the Enabled field also supports conditions.Current environment is 23R2.2. And I’m pretty sure this has changed from previous releases. In 22R2 I could write a condition in the Print Invoice command to only show for Invoices in status Preliminary.

Request or Request Task - connect to project

Hello All, A customer of mine is analyzing the feasibility to switch from using Work Orders (EAM) to Requests / Request Tasks (NextGenServiceMgmt). Since they’re servicing assets that belong to customers, switching to Request Management makes it a lot easier for them to execute the flow.However, they are also using Projects module. Each Work Order they work on they connect to a Project. I didn’t see any option to connect Requests / Request Tasks to a Project. Did I somehow missed finding this functionality or it doesn’t exist yet?@Alexander Heinze you’re my best bet with this question 😁.

New Doc revision - not copy the file from old rev

@Mathias Dahl Do you know if there’s any control via Document Default Values to have the File option unchecked by default when we create a new Document revision?The reason for this is that we implemented a CRIM to notify users when a certain document is about to expire. They would need to then create a new document revision and check-in the new PDF. So, we never will need to copy the old file in the new document revision. I see that this FileInfo parameter comes back as True in the API, but I couldn’t find any Document Default Value to control this.

Lobby element - List - data aligns right and left

Hello All, I know there’s no way to setup the alignment of data in a List lobby element, but I thought by default it should be aligned to the left.However, I have one list where the # of Opportunities is right aligned and it makes the Account Value quite difficult to read. This is how the fields are arranged in the element: Any ideas why some columns are right aligned and some others are left aligned?

Appearance configuration - Prefix for browser tabs

Hello All, When working with IFS Cloud, it’s always the case that in the same browser I have multiple tabs of different environments open at the same time (CFG / UAT / TST / PROD).Do you know if it’s possible via Appearance Configuration to add a prefix in the Browser Tab so that from the overview you could tell each tab to which environment it belongs?I’ve looked at the different options that are available but I wasn’t able to find what I was looking for.This is what I would have in mind:

Workflow - Release Customer Order

YearEnd - Clear revenue Cost Balance - no voucher type in LoV

Report Images - logos - Payload too large

Hello, After the upgrade to 23R1 SU4 I have noticed a strange error when I tried to upload a new logo in Report Images.The .gif file is 35 kb in size, so it’s not too big. Now after that the system won’t even load the data in the screen. It will always show this error message.Also when I debug this, I don’t get any API call in error. https://***-uat.ifs.cloud/main/ifsapplications/projection/v1/ReportImagesHandling.svc/ReportLogoSet?→ I get info on 2 logos and then nothing.Any ideas if this is a bug in 23R1?

Multi-Company Allocation - Instant Invoice - not working

Hello, I am struggling to process a Multi-Company Allocation to create an Instant Invoice. I’m not sure what I am missing. Any help would be greatly appreciated.I have created the Sales Object and the Customer is properly setup.There’s no data when I run calculation. And I get the below error when I try to create the Invoice: Error message when trying to create invoice from MC Allocation No data in view calculation. If instead of Instant Invoice I choose CA Voucher, then I have no issues is executing the MC Allocation. The issue is just when I try to do it via Instant Invoice.

Personal Data Management - is anonymization reversible?

Hello, I have setup Personal Data Management to anonymize the customer email address. The solution seems to work well. What I don’t understand is the following:is this just hiding the data on client side or did it really updated the value in the DB to m*********** for the email address?We are also using the email address setup in communication method to also send the invoices automatically to the customer by email every time an invoice is printed/posted. Does that mean that after anonymizing the email address it will try to send invoices per email to m*********** and the email will fail?Tagging @dsj Damith as I read some older where you have worked with Personal Data Management functionality.

BPA Workflow - User Interaction - larger Header in more lines

I am trying to build a user interaction workflow, but I’m having trouble displaying a longer Header in more than one line.Any ideas how this could be achieved? I have also tried using <BR> tag but it doesn’t do anything. See below some more details. The text I wanna display is: Are you sure the value in Expected Supplier Price per Unit is correct? Schedule Business Reporter report - application message failed

IFS Cloud 23R1 SU4I’ve tried scheduling a Business Reporter report with the scheduling functionality introduced in 22R2.I’ve noticed the following:3 application messages are created for below settings the first 2 app messages I understand what they are and I get the email for these notifications The 3rd application message fails with NO ROUTING RULE FOUND. Also the input message only refers to data from report Archive.Does anyone have any idea how is this supposed to work? I don’t wanna have failed application messages. I could create a Routing Rule to catch this message and don’t do anything with it, but I’d like to understand what’s the purpose of the 3rd application message.

US Vertex - Wrong Tax Amount on Customer Invoice when just part of the amount is taxable

We are looking at going live soon with an entity in US and weeks before GO live we have stumbled upon quite a big bug regarding sales tax in 22R1. We use the standard/out of the box integration with Vertex O Series to get the applicable tax amount and percentage for the products we sell.It's often the case in some US states that for some products only 80% of the net amount will be considered as taxable. The information about tax % and tax amount and taxable amount is coming from Vertex via standard interface.The issue is that in Customer Order the tax amounts are correct (header and lines), but when the invoice is created, the system recalculates the Gross Amount and Tax Amount at Invoice Header level based on tax percentages coming from Vertex, but it considers the whole net amount as taxable -> thus creating wrong postings in Accounting for IP2 and IP4.It’s hard to believe no other US customer came across this issue and it’s still an issue in 22R1.HAs anyone else faced the same is

Power BI example reports - PBIX files in 23R1

Hello, After having read about what’s new in Financials 23R1, I came across some very interesting pre-build Power BI reports for Income statement and Balance Sheet. We have Analysis Models deployed in our environment. I’ve looked into the git repo for 23R1 (biserv and pbies components) and I can’t find any .pbix files.Any hint on where the .pbix files could be found would be greatly appreciated.@Bob Corrigan maybe?

Geocoding - application message when creating customer address - how to turn off?

We’ve recently noticed that everytime we create a new customer address, there will be a GEOCODING application message generated which would end up in Failed state since there’s no routing rule/address configured to intercept that message.I’d like to turn off the generation of that application message, but I’ve no clue if that is even possible.What I’ve done thus far:→ checked event actions → there’s no event action creating this Application Message→ looked up in System Parameters but I couldn’t find anything that would refer to GEOCODING functionality.Any ideas on how to turn this off?I’ve also read the documentation from below, but it doesn’t say how to turn off this functionality.https://docs.ifs.com/techdocs/21r2/050_development/060_ifs_applications_business_components/150_application_services_development/#geocoding

IFS Cloud Web DevTools - how to install extension

Hi All, I’ve watched the 5 min video on IFS Academy on the IFS Cloud Web DevTools. It seemed like an extremely useful chrome extension that makes troubleshooting/debugging much more easier.When I go to Add-Ons, I don’t see anything related to IFS Cloud Web DevTools. I tried using 21R1 and also 22R1.Any idea since which version this tool will be available? It it only from 22R2?
