We have been creating some standard reports in Assyst Web using the report wizard as well as some dashboard reports too.We would like to make those reports available to groups of users. In some cases, those users may only be contact users and in other cases they may also be assyst users as well.I’ve looked through the WIKI and have verified our privilege groups for both end users and support staff have all the required entity privileges. Using the Assyst web report wizard I was able to create, share and publish a report. In Assyst Web I can now see that under my Subscriptions. However, I’m not able to enable the Reporting Menu item on our end user portal to make the report available there. (1). Has anyone setup the Net End User Portal to enable the reporting menu icon/item and if so what controls that?(2). Has anyone figured out how to get published & scheduled reports to email users once run?(3). When you publish your report to contact users, can I assume they see all the subscrib
We have run into situations where an end user is trying to add another end user as their Delegate using the self-service portal but the persons name never shows up to select when searching. I verified the contact user and assyst alias user records are created correctly and also verified that they have event Privilege = Delegation as part of the privilege group on the user alias record.We have other people that are able to add delegates without issues, but in some cases valid user names are not selectable for some reason.Has anyone run into this before and is so what was the root cause?
We are looking to create a webhook in IFS. We are using SolarWinds Pingdom as a Web application monitoring system so whenever web app is down it generates an alert. Pingdom has capability to send a payload to Webhook with status change details from success to failure. Basically, we are trying to create IFS incident automatically when Pingdom generates an alert. Has anyone done something like this?
Hello - we have had occurrences in our change request approval process, where email replies are not getting fully processed.In most cases, on decision tasks, when a user using the link to reply with their approval it works fine; however, we have had cases where it didn’t. What we see in those cases, is that the process works except the associated change workflow is never advanced/processed.Even when we look at email in our ETM channel, it shows successful. Also, in Assyst, the change event also has the email reply attachment and you see the reply in the action history as well.In ETM, we then reprocess the decision task reply and then the workflow is processed correctly.Have any other customers run into this type of situation and if so what if anything did you do to determine root cause? We currently have a situation where our test service catalog is missing on our test end user/self-service portal, while in production it is fine. When we log into the test self-service portal, the entire “Services” Menu option is missing/hidden, while in Production it’s shown.I even tried with my Assyst Admin account and still don’t see services in test.However, if I use my ZZGLOBAL account I see services and the catalog.The service catalog is available fine in Assyst.Web test and production.We're not aware of any changes we made that would cause this. Also, can’t explain why ZZGLOBAL can see Services but no other user, even an administrator can. We only use ZZGLOBAL occasionally and then only for setting up event monitors or query profiles we want to share globally.Has anyone encountered something like this before?Does anyone have an idea what about ZZGLOBAL would be different?
Has anyone come up with good ways to enable alerts/notifications using the IFS Assyst Mobile App?We have support personal who want to be alerted especially during off hours whenever a high priority incident or outage occurs. So, we want a push notification not simply that they check email on a regular Candance.
I’m aware of the basic delegation functionality that Assyst offers, where any Contact user can click on their profile and then setup time bound delegates as needed.However, I have several other questions.(1). Is it possible to setup a delegate for someone else?I ask because, we run into this frequently where a person who is an approver on some process like change mgt for example, is out of the office but never setup a delegate. This really delays the process and causes a lot of extra work trying to figure out who can approve in their absence etc.It would be very helpful if a system admin or some other role would have the ability to do that.(2). Is there a way to see all the delegates setup in the system?Is it possible to do this with an event monitor? or some type of report?Thanks in advance.
Even with the use of SLA Expressions, Assyst currently does not correctly measure SLA’s in some situations. For example, if an Incident’s Priority is changed but the assigned Service Department (SVD) stays the same it does not trigger. In our company we have different SLA’s for Priority 1 vs 2 vs 3. It’s very common for an Incident to get assigned to the correct SVD but after initial triage the incident priority is changed.
How can contact users be tagged on events so they can watch the progress of work.This would be on events that they did not directly submit/create nor would they be assigned the event directly or in a service department they were members of. I saw a previous post from Robert Wood that seemed to indicate this functionality was going to be available in assyst 11.6; however, were currently at version 11.6.1 and I don’t see any functionality on our end user portal or even within assyst web? I’m not finding any way to follow or tag or add to watchlist?
We have had multiple users (including myself) receive the attached system error message. This issue is very sporadic and does not occur all the time. In addition, it’s not repeatable, so whatever activity the user was doing when the error happened, if they go back in and do it again it always works fine. I’m only aware of this occurring on Assyst Web not our self-service portal. We have not been able to find and pattern or reason for this random system error.Has anyone else encountered this and if so, did you find any root cause and were you able to prevent the issue from occurring?
Is there a way to basically transfer ownership of ideas, posts, questions etc. that were created in the IFS Community to someone else?Use case is someone is leaving our company, and we would like these moved to another team member.
