Hi,We are on Update 12. I created and progressed the Repair Work Order and stuck at the stage where I need to place Serial Object to structure to change position from Issued to InFacility.When I use RMB on Report In Work Order → Place Serial in Equipment Structure and pick Functional Object against which I want to place it I get the error message “Object is already used in a PM Action or Work Order”. I have Work Orders against this Serial but they all either Finished or Cancelled. Surely it cant stop me to send equipment back to customer if I was fixing this part before?
Hi!On the Prepare Work Order window, under the Resourses tab, when setting up a Report Time, it’s possible to insert comments on the dialog box below, before creating the Time Report.When reported, I cannot find where the comment that I wrote went. Is there a way to print/view the Time Reports that were created?Thank you!
We are on Apps 10, and just updated from Update 9 to Update 15.Within Enterprise Explorer when right-clicking on a Work Assignment and setting the Status to Work Started, this Clock In popup now appears (and for Work Done). It did not previously.We do not use clockings, in favour of manual Time Reports.How can we turn the Clocking dialog off for Work Assignment status changes within IFS EE?
Hello dearest community, I have a question regarding the Work Task Filters i.r.w. IFSAPPS10 vs Aurena. To give a bit of context, a couple of years back we started using IFS as ERP. Currently we are moving maintenance to IFS as well. However, it has been announced we will be moving to Aurena in about a year or so. Furthermore another site abroad already implemented maintenance in IFSAPPS10. To prevent confusion on implementing Aurena we decided to directly start using Aurena for maintenance purposes. But Aurena is a bit funny at certain times. One of the differences we have found is the missing of “My Work” in Aurena. Fortunately we have found the “Technician Portals > Maintenance Engineer” which acts and seems to work the same. However, the application of Work Task Filters does not seem to work in Aurena. Is there a place in IFS IEE to see both active and historical work orders in one place? It seems you can only see historical records in one view and active records in another.
We’ve are running into the issue that a Service Contract cannot be added to a Work Order generated from a Separate PM Action Job. When we try to save the Work Order, we get this error:The PM Action Job is included in the contract the customer have with us. I’ve tried to generate a PM Action job from the Service Contract, but that cannot be done either. When I add it on the Service Contract (under PM Settings), I get this error:The equipment that I’ve picked is included on the contract. Where are we going wrong? Thank you in advance,Michael
Is it possible to split Non-Inventory cost price lines. As an example, we use NI-2000 for labour hours and NI-2001 for travel time.Some contracts might cover 4 hours travel and up to 10 hours travel. And any further is booked on the Work Order, it will automatic be excluded from the Service Contract?If possible, where can we add this? Thank you,Michael
Hello all,Pardon if this subject is incorrect or wrong Sub forum, this is my first post.We are still in Apps9 and fairly new in IFS still. We have a structure setup Parent ID → Child ID → serialized items. But when we try to add a serialized item we often get the error message “Functional Object No () can not be change because Serial Status is not in “In Facility”, “Contained”, “In RepairWorkshop” og “In Inventory”.Part Owership states “Customer Owned” which is correct. But we need to be able to keep track of the items under the parent Object ID.Is there a way we can link the Serial Objects to a Parent Object, even with “Ownership” being Customer Owned?
