Hi Using the custom event STEP_READY_FOR_APPROVAL as part of the document management approval routing to send an email. Email subject is using the variable &MESSAGE_TEXT which as an example contains the following: “Document Class 3015, No 1678422, Sheet 1 , Rev REV00 is ready for your immediate approval” My questions is there a way to amend the content of this variable somewhere in IFS? Using APPS 10, has anyone got NOTIFY_PR_AUTH_COMPLETED working? We are attempting to have the Purchase Requisitioner receive an email when the Purchase Req has been authorized, which this event seems to want to do but we’re having no joy. For Background, we DO have PUR_REQ_LINE_TO_BE_AUTHORIZED working and that sends an email to the Authorizers within the Authorization group. NOTIFY_PR_AUTH_COMPLETED just doesn’t seem to work in the same way.
I have set up a Quick Report to run a Crystal Report and this works fine except that I am being prompted for Login Information each time it is run. e.g. if the Crystal Report is accessing the CUSTOMER_ORDER_TAB I receive the following: Login Information for CUSTOMER_ORDER_TAB is requested prompting me to enter: Login: Password: DB Instance: Schema Owner: Can anyone please advise what I am missing.
We are currently on Apps 9. We would like to batch print customer invoices but we have multiple templates that are used for this. I am trying to create a report rule that will default the layout template when a specific site is selected so the invoices are printed on the correct layout. We have tried various iterations of the expression in the report rule but none seem to be working. One such version is below. Can anyone offer any insight on what we may be doing wrong?
Hello, Does anyone know a way of changing the behavior of when you click on a IFS URL link embedded within an email to an IFS screen? If the user is already logged into IFS it will still create a new session (prompting user to login unless using SSO) instead of utilizing the existing IFS session they have open. Any suggestions would be appreciated Regards Shaun
We are currently on version 9 and are starting to create lobbies for user review. I was able to grant access to the lobby that I created to a permission set, however, the it appears that the user(s) now have access to all of the IFS standard lobbies as well. I don’t see a way to deactivate these or restrict access to them. I tried to explicitly revoke access in the permission set to specific lobbies but they are still showing up in the lobby overview, although the data isn’t pulling through. The issue is that the lobby overview is messy with all of the IFS standard lobbies and I’d like to make that a little cleaner.
Crystal report developed and executes successfully outside of IFS. Report is using a custom developed IAL as its data source (access granted to appropriate permission sets) When copy Crystal Report to server and try to preview in IFS an error is presented: Server was unable to process request. ---> System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at Ifs_ReportService.GetSavedPDFReport(String FileName, String ParameterValues, String LangCode) in c:\inetpub\wwwroot\IFSCRWebSetupIFST_3\App_Code\Service.cs:line 244 --- End of inner exception stack trace --- No actions were executed. Other Crystal reports work fine which would rule out issues with the IFS Crystal Web Service. Does anyone have any suggestions to overcome this error? Thanks in advance Shaun
I am struggeling with creating custom fields on this page. When I enter the overview for custom fields I can see my custom fields but they are not visible to add on the tbw. I have reloaded the configuration and restarted EE but only Menu-items can be used on tbwRepresentativeCustomer and no custom fields. I have seen this behavior on other pages as well so is there any limitation on where we can see custom fields or is this a bug?
