Delivery packages on BuildPlace

Hi @NECMIOH , The ‘Deliveries’ table on the build-place will display 50 records at a given time. The most recent deliveries will be added to the top and older delivery records will be gradually removed from the table. IFS baseline upgrades to customer solution environment

Hi @ramank ,The minor version change difference between the baseline and solution repositories denotes that the users have performed a service update on the RU studio. RU studio job - ale-pz2amad-1676603161 The service update process is only partially automated. Only the baseline repository will be updated with the automation platform. Updating the solution repo with the service update is the solution-developers' responsibility. Hi @Arifmd1705 ,Sanity build will check out the latest changes to the master branch (commits performed by the technicians/solution developers) and asses if the underlying codebase is buildable. In the build-place, the master branch of the solution repository will be built using an automated pipeline job and in the Release-Update studio, the release-update branch will be used during the sanity build process.If the automated job initiated for the sanity build is successful, log files will be available on the LE portal and a tag will be introduced to the latest commit revision on the master branch (if you are working on the RU studio, the sanity tag will be applied to the release-update branch). The automated job will create internal azure resources (virtual machines and other relevant resources) to generate the code base and deploy it. If the job is successful, the VM image will be captured and saved. This VM image will be used for buildplace DEV, QAS environment process. Sanity scheduli

Hi @ramank , While analyzing the customer-solution repository I noticed that the solutionset.yaml and the translationusage.json files have not been updated during the "Apply Release Update to Customer Solution Repository and Customization Uplifting Process". If you navigate to the above-mentioned files you will notice that they are still on the previous version. Hi @anushakh, In the build-place, the customer-solution developers will interact with the master branch of the customer-solution repository. The deliveries and sanity build will be performed on the master branchDuring the release-update process, the customer-solution developers will interact with the Release-Update Studio. Same as the build-place, a new branch; release-update will be created in the customer-solution repository. The developers will interact with this branch to complete the release-update process.At the end of the release-update process is the 'Complete' step. Hi @ramank, Please note that the 'Manage Deployment' option is only visible for the customer onboarded with the 'Remote' deployment model. Access to IFS Cloud source code

Hi @Artur Byrski ,The user roles in the build place are categorized into two categories as follows,basic user access -Technician Customer-solution dev IFS product support devstakeholder user access -BP user admin customer solution consultant IFS product support consultantIf you assign a single user to multiple user groups which have different access levels there will be issues with the user group policies. In this scenario, if you are in the BP User Admin group and also in the Technician group, the stakeholder access policies will override the basic-user policies and the member will not be able to perform the activities entitled to the Technicians.Since you are in the BP User Admin group and the Customer Solution DEV group. I would recommend you to request another BP User Admin to remove you from the BP User Admin group and afterward please check if you can navigate to the customer solution repository.Best Regards,Shirantha

Hi @anushakh ,Please note that with the 22R2 release, there are slight changes in the release update and the service-update processes. Make sure that you are referring to the correct documentation according to the current version of the build place. Furthermore, if you are currently on 22R1/or a previous release, and planning the upgrade to 22R2, please refer to the technical documentation for 22R2. New features are added to the 22R2 Release Update studio and there are some deviations from the previous release-upgrade process.

Hi @InfFilipV ,You may navigate to the ‘Notifications’ section under the user settings on the Azure DevOps portal to view the available notifications assigned to your account. Please check the notifications set under the section 'Code (Git)'.You can add a new subscription from this window as well. Please refer to the below steps to create a new subscription. 1.Navigate to the ‘Notifications’ window. 2.Click on New Subscription3.Select the 'Code(Git)' category on the 'New Subscription' window and select 'A pull request is created or updated' as the template. 4.Please enter the filter criteria as stated in the below diagram and finish the set up With the above filter criteria, once a new pull request has been activated, you will be notified via email. Once you have completed the above steps, navigate back to the 'Notifications' window. You will notice a new subscription has been added under the 'Code(Git)' category.

IFS Cloud 22R1 - Not enabled languages

Hi @InfFilipV Please note that, the Build Place environments are only available in English language at the moment.Once you have approved and merged the Pull Request to add the translations to the master branch of the Customer Solution repository, you can can include the language components to the next planned delivery to the Use Place. Once the delivery has been installed, the new languages will be available will be available in the Use Place.
