Anyone using calculation rule Overhaul with the Cycle flag set to No Cycle

Hi @geirsigve,Overhaul-The due date for this calculation rule, is based on the Value After Overhaul of the operational parameter of the serial. Every maintenance code with this calculation rule will repeat itself (after every cycle). Note: A maintenance code connected to this calculation rule must have either No Cycle or Cycle in the Cycle field. If a number of maintenance codes are used, the calculation rule with the highest interval must have the value Cycle in the Cycle field. Otherwise the calculation will not calculate the correct due dates for overhauls with longer intervals than the event controlling the cycle.Observe that when you perform the maintenance code set as Cycle the Value After Overhaul and Value After Repair of all the serial's operational parameters will be reset.Please use following link to learn how calculations are performed on each maintenance code connected to the maintenance plan determining calculation rules. http://docweb.corpnet.ifsworld.com/ifsdoc/Apps10/d

Customer No not inherited from Object party

Hi @LenaicDAVID,Here the ‘customer name field’ is for customer who is responsible for the work order, and it will not inherited from object. same functionality in App10 and 21R1 as well. What @Nethmini Kosvinnamentioned is correct. Therefore this is not a bug or so far set up missing. Best regards,Bimsara

Hi @womich,For 3 – Point Analysis, Calculated Cost = weighted average of Min, Most Likely and MaxThe weighted average is equal to [(Min estimate) x (Analysis Min Weight Factor) + (Most Likely estimate) x (Analysis Norm Weight Factor) + (Max estimate) x (Analysis Max Weight Factor)] / [(Analysis Min Weight Factor) + (Analysis Norm Weight Factor) + (Analysis Max Weight Factor)]Hope this will helps you. Stuck Missing Reservation on maintenance material line IFS9

Hi @courtney.engel , Hi @KristenGastaldo,As I’m aware, It was not possible to find the route cause for this issue.  But this happens when there was a data mismatching for this part in “Inventory part in Stocks” and “Inventory part in stock reservation”. Therefore it needed a data repair to correct this.

Adjust Maintenance Plan Dates on Performed Date Based PM Action

Hi @eedwards ,To solve this issue we can use following Workaround Every time we have to perform the following workaround due to this issue where PM Actions have value in ‘Performed Date Based’ field as ‘Yes’1. Navigate back to General Tab and change the value in ‘Performed Date Based’ field as ‘No’2. RMB header and select ‘Regeneration Plan’ option. Thereafter the lines in Maintenance Plan tab will show correct dates.3. Thereafter Navigate back to general tab and change the value in ‘Performed Date Based’ field from ‘No’ to ‘Yes’ The bug ID  163387 introduced in UPD17, will resolve this issue with following solution.1.Create a PM action with calendar generation mode, while setting ‘Performed date based’ Yes.2.Activate PM action and generate a work order for the first period3.Go to prepare work order and cancel the task and then the work order.4.Create revision for the PM action, with changes in start value, save.5.Regenarate the plan, observe the maintenance plan. The plan is not regen

Retrospective Work Reporting EAM - Work Type not populating Work Order

Hi Gregg,Since the work planning is based with Work Task and  not from the Work Order, the Work Type is adding only to the Work Task. Populate Maint Org in New Fault Report

Hi,Here The maintenance organization represent the maint org that is responsible for the work order. This field is linked to a basic data register and only allows values registered there. Click on the field, and Use List of Values to find a suitable value. Since we cannot setup default maintenance organization for a user, all the values belong to the site will appear here and you have to select it accordingly. Hope this will helps you.Bimsara

Maintenance Planning Board

Hi,Double click on details of work task and see whether the resource and material has assigned to the relevant tasks considered on the constraints.  Most probably the scheduling will not happen if there is no any available resource connected to related maint org. Please make sure al the criteria in resource navigator are fulfilled and it connected to resource structure for relevant company.

How to undo changes made manually to the schedules in Maintenance Planning Board

Hi Thilochana,I checked the functionality and manually you can change the date by drag and drop, other than that the only way I noted is you can change the planned dates in work tasks in IEE for earlier date, that you want and load MPB only for New and Modified work orders and select specific work task and do the scheduling.If you set up dates without fixed start date, and when you do the scheduling, it picked planned dates into the latest date based on the criteria ‘as soon as possible’ despite the dates we applied. Hope this answer will help you to some extent.

Material Demands from PM Actions

But when we select zero, it will count maintenance planning lines which are due before sys date. And those lines appeared with demands in IPAP window. therefore only add negative value (ex;-1000) worked, but it depends.

Total Contr Margin/Base value doesn't appear to be calculating correctly

Hi Nipun,As per the F1 help documentation, the contribution margin consists of the difference between the sales price and the inventory value. The contribution margin is based in sales unit. Possible discounts for the customer are also included in the calculations. It is also possible to try extra discounts to determine how the contribution margin is affected. Do this by specifying a discount figure in the Extra Discount field. The contribution margin is: ((buy quantity due * price conversion factor * base sales unit price * (1 - (discount + defined extra discount) / 100) * (1 - order discount / 100))) - (cost * buy quantity due * conversion factor.) Contr Margin/Base: The total contribution margin amount for the order/quotation, which is the total net amount minus the total cost, expressed in the base currency.so here  the difference from (-230) to 255 is 485.00FurtherLine wise Contrib Margin/Base: The total contribution margin amount for the line in base currency, calculated as the l

Hi Nipun, In IFS App9/10 we used Return functionality to return serial to inventory Report in work order> return tabwe can mention the serial ID that we want to return here and can easily return parts to inventory

Missing copy/paste object functionality in document attachment plugin in APP10

Hi Yasanthi, In App10 you have to use the RMB option “More...” available in the attachment panel. The form that opens when you click that button will allow both copy and paste of connected documents.

Clocking Functionality

In work order, work assignment can be assigned to a particular employee. When the work starts it is not necessary to start the working assignment if the employee using clocking functionality. Clocking Functionality is used for a technician to Start and stop work and create time reportings depending on those time differences. Once the user uses the Clock-In initially to the work assignment then it automatically starts the work assignment and Assignment Start and Work Start dates will be updated. In that instance, the user will Clock-In to start work, then Clock-Out to have a break the time will be reported for the time differences. Therefore the technician might start work and then pause for some time to take a break (or do some other work) and start again. Then the user will Clock In again to continue work after the break, and Clock out to finish work. There is no limitation of the user clocking out and clocking in again on a Work assignment, therefore the Assignment Finish dates
