Inter-site Process-Invoice

@IniNaadiJ Prerequisites (non-Einvoice) >A customer invoice with Preliminary status must exist. >The Method Default check box must be selected in the Customer/Message Setup tab for a row with the message class INVOIC. Dear Vimukthi,Thanks I was able to generate the Invoice and do the send invoice option.But from the supplier side automatically external supplier invoice is not generated.Can you please explain what I have missed here After sending the invoice still unable to auto generate the external supplier invoice

The linked document was published just over 5 years ago, and as stated in earlier posts, is missing details of the “INTER-COMPANY INVOICE FLOW” stating “Details to be added”. Is there a newer/updated version of this document available which includes that missing detail? @IniNaadiJ See if you have added INVOIC message class in the customer Message Defaults. Also to complete the fully flow, make sure you have SUPEXT message class in Supplier > Invoice > Message Defaults as well. Inter-site Process-Invoice

@IniNaadiJ why would you need more than one internal customer for a site? The internal customer represents the site itself, so it will always be a 1:1 connection. A common confusion is that the internal customer is the site with which the original site can do business with, but that’s not the case. Supplier Invoice will be created automatically in the demand site once the customer invoice is Printed in the supply site → a new record will be created in External Supplier Invoices in demand site/company Dear Marcel,I have done the testing and I could not get the supplier invoice automatically.Please let me know what I have missed Raise PO> Release> Send PO Message defaults > Set the INVOIC (This is for the automating invoice) Go to incoming Customer order Register Arrival GRN & Complete Raise the Customer order & Deliver and raise Invoice Invoice will be generated Send Invoice (Ideally supplier invoice should be generated but this command is inactive)

Unable to add back date instant invoice with expired tax code

Multi-company allocation Process and voucher error

Dear Marcel, I did the testing and found that even though GL voucher row exist for the relevant GL account the time period. there should be multi company vouchers as well. From the multi company voucher value it will allocate to other companies.

Hi, It create Automatic Lines once the Voucher is Saved. Could you please mention the Transaction with Company (You can refer as Company A and B) / Amount Thank You Dear Ramesh, Thank you for the reply.Yes. Even though I have set the automatic postings, In the multi company voucher entry I have ticked the manual balance per company method. Assuming we can pass entries for both companies. Even without tick this check box I get error. The Manual entry postings entered Company A Expense GL A/C 1000 drCompany B Liability G/L A/C 1000 cr Both currency type 1 no remaining balance in the both companies. Please advise RegardsNaadira

Multi company voucher Entry - Process and error

I just tried this on my TEST and it seems to work. is AC2 existing in both companies? if so is it setup on D voucher on both? Dear Pamith,Thank you for your reply.Any idea on the error 2. Cash box error- The payment amount can not be zero

Okay, I am still confused here. So you created a SUPOA then matched it with an MSI which had the actual expense accounts, is this matching also in the cash box? Since you are recording a direct cash payment, there cannot be any invoice involved, only the manual accounts, is that in balance? Dear Pamith, Thank you for your reply.I have explained about the business scenario. The supplier details and MSI details we retrieved from the debugging the error message. Which is not relevant for line 21. Line 21 error comes from the mixed payment table. which we had to do a data repair.Yes direct cash payment method was manually matched against a GL a/c not with an MSI. You are correct. Our concern is why cash box generate an error while approving & when there is a cancelled mixed payment for the same date. Because from the back end we can see both there is a validation. You can refer the SQL query for more details. RegardsNaadira

Cash box error- The payment amount can not be zero

What is the transaction you are trying to process? In your screenshot there seems to be supplier payments as well. Cashbox does not allow 0 value transactions. Dear Pamith,Thank you for your response.The transaction line is 21 & it has a value of 3800. It is a direct cash payment to the supplier petty cash payable. The petty cash reimbursement is done as a SUPOA through MSI and the expenses recorded in the cash box. The process is functionally correct. Our problem is this error appears when we approve the cash box. Which is linked to the mixed payment table. RegardsNaadira

Multi company voucher Entry - Process and error

Can you try it after making AC2 the default in user group per voucher series? Dear Pamith, Yes, I tried that too. Still the same error appeared. If you can please let me know any other process how to proceed with the multi company voucher.RegardsNaadira

Supplier check cash/print error

I did notice on the last screenshot, the debits and credits are 0 but the cheque had an amount. This would lead to think the posting of the cheque is the cause of the issue. This does seem odd, but support would be better equipped to look at the issue. Can you replicate this issue with all cheques or it just this one? Supplier check cash/print error

This error message suggests that the posting of the cheque can’t be made as there is no entry for one of the sides (based on your debugging it would suggest the debit side). Is the cheque matched to an invoice or manually coded to a cost for the debit entry? Dear Rituma,This was an advance payment and invoices not matched. Yes, from the debugging it cannot see from which method debit entry is not reflecting. As you can see in the screenshots, at the created stage voucher is created and entries are correct. But at the cashed stage voucher is not generating. Please give your feedback on this. RegardsNaadira

Supplier Check Cash Error

Dear Nethmini, There are about 1900 transactions which is stuck in the WIP account. So we checked several work orders individually whether work type is mentioned in the posting control or not. It is already set up.And so far all the work orders executed correctly through the database task , and there are new no types of parameters set up as well. Is there anything else we should check?RegardsNaadira

Dear Heshani, Thanks for the support. Appreciate.Specification types all the parameters already configured. This is run through the database schedule.Work order status will be changed from release to finish though a database job. Then the double entries will be changed to Cost of sales Dr, & WIP Cr. The issue is finished work orders still stuck in the WIP GL account. RegardsNaadira

Dear Bereda,We've found a solution. We need to change the date in the current due date under the instalment plans and the discounts tab. After that we have to execute the process invoice again and it will remove the error message and generate the voucher.Once again thank you for the support. RegardsNaadira

Dear Bereda, The payment term applied was, 20% in advance & 80% once goods are on Board.Payment term base date comes automatically same as the due date. Error message is :ORA-20105: Invoice.ACCERROR1: Error (Current Due Date cannot be less than Pay Term Base Date.) occurred while booking Invoice CD 202200054. Please advise on the data repair. Dear Bereda,Thank you for your reply. Yes there is a difference in TB ( Closing balance not tallying with opening balance) And we found the reasons as cash book balance and GL balance difference. Executed the above mentioned SQL quires as well. Still couldn't rectify and tally the TB and run the year end that is the main concern. This is IFS app 8.Is there any bug which prevents from doing the preliminary year end and not generating and error message. RegardsNaadira
