Hi All,

Expecting your valuable advice on this:

I get the following error when I open the document attachments.

All the necessary access to the persons groups which is relevant to the document class is already granted.(Document basic data -access provided)

Permission sets have been provided to the users.

Document status is unlocked and check in

Refresh security cache and restarting already done

Other documents for the same class can be viewed. IFSAPP can be viewed this document but the users who have access to this unable to view.

Have I missed anything else?

Regards

Naadira

Hi,

Could you elaborate on the “ access to the persons groups which is relevant to the document class is already granted.” ?

You might not have the access to this specific document you are trying to view even though you have access for the class through an access template

Dear Asitha,

Thank you for your reply. 🙂 In generally when we grant the document class access all the relevant document attachments can be viewed. Can you please explain how to give specific document access only. Appreciate your advise. on this.

Document status in check in and unlocked.

Regards

Naadira

Hi @IniNaadiJ,

There are several ways you could provide access to for a document revision. You can add an access template for a document class through

Document management > Basic Data > Document Basic > Access template tab

This would provide access to all documents created through the specific class

Additionally access specific to document revision can be added through the document revision access tab

Addition to this any object connections to the document revision might add an access as well.

Please follow  through http://clouddocs/ifsdoc/Apps10/Documentation/en/ProcessModels/Process_Model/SetDocumentAccess.htm for more information

From the sound of it, the user is missing access (since IFSAPP can view the same document). Check the Access Definition and also have a look under the Result tab, where you can generate the exact access results for each person at any given point in time. If you have a complex access definition it's sometimes hard to figure out if a user/person has access or not, and from what "source".
