Paid Supplier Advance Invoices Not Matched

Hi Tanya,when a Advance Invoice is paid a new item named CUPIA is created. If the advance invoice is fully paid, the item is no longer open. When a final invoice is created (from customer order) the connected CUPIAS are matched with the final invoice. The open amount of the final invoice is reduced by the amount of the CUPIA. (Besides that tax is posted and reversed when a advanced invoice is paid.To have an overview you can use the normal open item report to filter and select ONLY advance invoices (this will present only open or partially paid items). Or you can choose to only see the Open or partially matched CUPIAS.This can also be used in accounts payable - items for paid advance supplier invoices are named SUPIA’S.Besides the report you can also use Customer open Balance History and query in these,RegardsRalph

Cancel invoice in preliminary posting proposal

Hi,depending on what you would like to achieve and how relevant the amount is that beeds to be corrected there is see the following options Cancel the Invoice in the period that it has been posted. And create a correct one. This will change (if the VAT was wrong) your numbers for the tax reporting and you have to create a new proposal and deliver the correct (new) numbers to your tax authority. This is the option that the information message is pointing to. Cancel the invoice in the next period and create a correct one. So the tax reporting for the previous period will remain as it is and the difference between cancelled and new invoice will be reported with the next tax reporting.Kind regardsRalph

Solution for taking heavy GL voucher data out for auditors

Hi,Yes - it is a german output for auditors. It is a simple text file where the also created xml file describes the columns. It might not be ideal but should do the trick. As the files can be quite big - make sure that the server has enough space to process the file.Right now i can only access a apps10 environment and cannot crosscheck against a older version. where to insert the VAT Code for a supplier or customer

Hi,I can tell for germany the following for the customer side:Tax is here depending on the delivery address. If the address is taxable for domestic tax then adress is sedt to TAXABLE the tax code is setup on the sales part (the sales part must flagged as taxable and a tax code or a tax class) and fetched from there (no tax code on the address).If the address is not taxable the address is set to EXEMPT and a tax code needs to be defined on the adress under tax free tax code. There are different scenarios if it comes to tax reporting, which means that you need a tax code per scenario.Sales in the EU of Services Sales in the EU of Goods Sales in the EU Triangulation Sales outside EU To distinguish between 1,2 and 3 the delivery type is used on the sales part and in the tax free tax code setup.On the supplier side it for the invoicing the tax code is fetched from the Invoice Tab in the supplier basic data. E.g. the Report Type: GDPDU writes an textfile and a file with the colum description.The export can be used for the predefined Audit sources (also accounts) and run as a background job. Hi,you achieve to override of you allow preposting on account for non inventory parts:During matching you can enter an account using the prepostingOr you simply add two lines in the posting of the invoice .One to reverse the M93 Posting and another one with the correct cost account.RegardsRalph

Error Message When Trying to Offset

Hi,looking at the screenshots I assume you would like to offset an advance payment. When a advance payment is posted usually a tax code needs to be applied which is coming from the advance invoice or manually applied when no connection to an order exists. For the paid amount tax is calculated and posted..When matching the advance payment against the final invoice the tax posting will be reversed, because the tax from the final invoice will be posted.The error message states that no account can be found for posting in PP36. AC7 is the control type for tax code.The tax code used in the payment is not in the details of PP36. Please check which tax code “sits” on the payment and add the combinartion tax code/account to the the posting control type PP36 in the details. Using a default value might work in scenarios where you only have one account for all used tax codes. But the you can use the control type AC1 with a fixed account.The default value will be used for all tax codes that are not

Handling of customer bankruptcy

Hi Soren,Bad Debt Management is an option to handle the open items and post specific valuation allowances for each invoice. You can setup Bad Debt Levels and Repost the items to a separate bad debt account.The defined percentage will be posted against a p&l account to reflect the lowered value of the item. The open item still remains with its full amount.Note that tax is not corrected in this process. But if you write off the full invoice later the bad debt posting will automatically be reversed. Customer Direct Debiting - Germany

Hi Gayan,EZ Direct Debeting formats is with explicit permisson of the customer and cannot easily be contradicted. AB Direct Debetings can be contradicted.But both formats are outdated. I would recommend to use Best RegardsRalph

How change the value in the Automatic Payment Authorization of supplier invoice

Hi,you can remove the authorization in the screen “Authorize Invoices for Payment” and in the “Installment Plan and Discount” of the invoices. “Installment Plan and Discount” per invoice is accessible from other overviews in the application as well. Voucher Summary

Hi,vouchers will usually summarized when code parts (and some other parameters -see screenshot) are identical. Debits and credits will not be netted.The underneath shown parameters e.g. Party Type, Party Type ID, Reference Series, Reference id are also used as additional criteria but can be excluded. Hi Nagah, if they are systemwise created a deletion will most probably imbalance one of the subledgers.From my perspective the most practical way to solve this is:Open old Period(s) Post the voucher(s) Create manual voucher(s) to reverse the impact from the posted voucher(s) in the old period(s) Create manual voucher(s) for the impact from the posted voucher(s) in the old period(s) in the an actual period that can be used for posting. Investigate the postings and impact caused by the voucher(s) in the actual periodKind regardsRalph

Using Customer Parked payment in 22R1

Hi Chamaka,a parked payment is a customer/supplier payment (e.g. from mixed payment) that is not matched against a specific customer/supplier or invoice. IRL you dont know who did this payment. That item is just related to the company in which it has been posted. It is posted with PP9/PP10 when it is received.It is always shown in the LOV of open items (with the company id as customer/supplier ID) and it can be matched/offset against any open item (customer/supplier). When matched PP9/PP10 will be cleared.Does that answer your question?RegardsRalph

Currency Revaluation - AP

Hi,just my thoughts…For the calculation you can also use the supplier ledger revaluation report with a specific currency rate type if we are talking about specific suppliers being subject to this handling.Else you might use a payment term to post these invoices (IP1 based on supplier group and payment term) on a separate AP GL account. In this case you dont have any additional calculation effort. Best regardsRalph

Inventory Part in Stock movements vs GL values

Hi Naren,Inventory Part in Stock is always showing the actual parts in stock. I would not use it for reconciliation purpose.I would suggest to use Inventory Value per Period screen.This one is aggregated by all inventory transactions and fixed for a period. So you can see for each Year Period the valid qty and value of the parts in stock.To reconcile the value i would add up all M1 Transactions in gl or mpccom_accounting. Besides minor rounding issues the should match.Kind regardsRalph

Fetch Tax on External Customer Invoice

Hi Trine,the ways of fetching a correct tax code can be different depending on the local VAT regulations(sales tax or VAT regimes) and as far as i know there is no template available where the tax code can be fetched and this is why:When importing a customer invoice the original invoice document is already created (printed). So the origin for this import transaction is the legacy system that cerated the import file. Since the invoice is already sent to the customer also the tax information is part of the invoice, so you know the tax code that needs to be used (even if it different from the tax code in IFS Applications. From a book keeping perspective the imported invoice must match the information of the paper invoice (Gross Amounts, Net Amount, Tax amount and used tax code).In case you start fetching a tax inside IFS you might end up in a different result for what reason ever. This can lead into seroius problems in a tax audit.I can just highly recommend to add the tax code to the fil
