@bdoucette Would be great to at least know that it is possible to use Java code to send a mail. I only read it, not at all sure if it is doable in an IFS environment.I'm stepping away from the usage of events as, at least the SQL block related events are deprecated in the near future. Only thing that we can used in future IFS Cloud versions will be BPA. So, in my view it makes sense to spend some extra time to learn that module/component.
Do you perhaps have full access to DocMan?Did you check via an user that has only limited access to other parts of IFS as well?
Noticed that I used the wrong Entity Set Name. It had to be Reference_ApprovalTemplate. Solved this/my problem.
@MARLSEA Weird this message. When opening the attached file (containing a whopping 128.894 lines of settings), the second column contains the LU Name. However non are blank.Odd that IFS is still not using the functionality of the Status (bottom of the Background Job detail screen which for example may show which row has been processed (line number or table name or whatever information). That way we would be able how far the processing has commenced and where one can look to see if the problem is really in that spot (in this case the txt file that contains to much, as with @Nikita38 or something missing as with @MARLSEA )I took some time, @MARLSEA to load your attached file, but it resulted in the same error as you encountered (I ran it in the background in 9 minutes). @bdoucette Thanks for your extensive explanation. I'm in the middle of trying just that. But there doesn't seem to be a set (in your example 'DocReferenceObjectSet’. I try to use the URL as defined in the API document browser and only with TemplateArray I get the correct results.Also when using the debug console, when updating the approval step line, I see the usage of the TemplateArray. I have the idea that this has been set up in a less standard way.
Sadly I run in the same situation for another similar request. I have the idea that one has to update the permission set for the users to stop them from detaching an approval step. I've not checked yet what that function would be to remove/disable from permission set.
Not seeing the complete event, I think you use a before commitment situation (as I see &NEW:...). However that opportunity doesn't exist yet, so my guess is that the email can't be retrieved and you end up with a blank mail and hence an error.Is it an option to test this using a hard coded mail address to be concatenated with a ';’ or ',’ and then you api call and see if a mail is send at that moment?Or something with a nvl([api call], [hard coded mail])Have you tried to use the after commitment?Next thought, but I don't know how that works would be a BPA workflow.
Tried to pass $count as Key but during inspect no %count% value appears. So it doesn't seem to be a solution to where to retrieve the number of rows read for a set.Anyone an idea?

You're right, pre-posting not available at Charge level. Odd, by the way. So your suggestion to do it at GL entry creation would be an option. Would another option be to have a configuration of an event based upon the base of the Transfer Purchase Transactions.I don't have a system at hand to check if that is an option, but might be worthwhile investigating.

@Henrik Sjöström Here a request from NL. One of our customers is linked to municipalities that only work via PEPPOL. So making a connection to PEPPOL in the standard IFS Cloud would be very wise and we would also like to see it in the standard product.
I would say this calls for the implementation of an event, based upon the insert/create of the charge line.
@bdoucette I have only environments to my availability that have either no mail server connected or it has been turned down as the environments are Dev/Test only. More to the point: never had a request to do that, so can't help you now.

@bdoucette I noticed the Script Task 'Prepare condition for gateway’.Are you ok with sharing what the script looks like as I'm struggling with looping thru a subset as I want to have the status of the lowest approval step that is not Approved/Rejected.I tried the use of a subset, but didn't get the loop to work. When there is no value for a field, the field is not there at all, so only available values are considered in the loop. In my loop I need the first step (out of the attached approval steps) that is not yet either Approved or Rejected.No problem if you share it via a private message.
A long shot, but I would prepare a user form that will contain the default value. Just before the end of the workflow a copy of the default value will be set to the mandatory field of which you want to set the value.I've not yet encountered this scenario so have no experience if it will work (at this moment I'm really missing how the logic of a workflow works).@adixon : is the workflow that you showed already up and running? I see two tasks that have no icon in the upper left corner, so they are not defined yet? I'm interested in the content of task 'Evaluate Results’. @bdoucette While looking at the workflow image, I saw there is no ‘identifier’ icon at the bottom of the sub process.Select it and use the wrench to select the, I call it the hamburger, icon. Once selecting it, it will loop though the data as you started it with in the task that is before the sub process.The Collection in your example will contain: GetFileExtListData is just a variable name for an array that will contain all the data found. With the projection set to Read UserSettings, in the above the SingletonUser is used as Entity Set Name, but one can also use Entity Set Name: CurrentPerson. This will return PersonId containing the Identity that one is looking for.I think I'm too late to solve the issue of @Asheer, but might be useful somewhere in the future.
