Match Invoices with New PO Receipts - Functional explanation

One of our customers wants to know the logic behind the below 'Match Invoices with New PO Receipts’ The database method behind the OK Button of the dialog matching New PO Receipts  isPosting_Prop_Inv_Util_API.Start_Reverse_Po_Matching.According to the database code, the logic behind the 'dialog matching New PO Receipts' is very complex and difficult to explain functionally in a simple way. According to the help documentation it mentioned below" Use this window to match the purchase orders with the invoices that were created before the purchase order (PO) was created. The invoice will be created first, and the purchase order will be registered as Arrived only after the invoice is created. When the purchase order is registered as Arrived, it is possible to automatically match the invoice with the purchase order using this window. "Is there any further detailed functional explanation regarding this?Can anyone help?Best Regards-Kelum

FSM - continuously inserting records in to mm_message_out table

HI,In one of our customer's environments, we’ve noticed an issue of continuously inserting records into the mm_message_out table with high volume.It utilizes most of the process and exceeds the DB session limit as well.So system performance getting very low and users can not log in to the system due to this low performance and consider it as a system down situation.We’ve cleaned up the messages mm_message_out which is beyond the retention period(48 hours) as mentioned in the below community threadFSM Mobile - mm_message_out cleanup process | IFS CommunityBut still, it's not resolved the issue and continuously proceeding insert statements into mm_message_out with high volume. As I know ,normally mm_message_out insertion is not a big issue as it's the standard behavior, But here it's consuming almost all the CPU and sessions.Can anyone help ? -Kelum

Conditional field is not working on purchase requisition window

Hi ,Conditional Fields is not working in one of the customer's APPS10 Environment.It gives below error View [MATERIAL_REQUISITION] not found in the dictionary.I have refreshed the Dictionary Cache using the IFS Refresh Cache option.But it's not resolved the issue.Can anyone help on this?Best Regards-Kelum

changing comma (,) into dot (.) when data transfer.

​We have an issue in the data transfer from the Inventory Part window (frmInventoryPart)  to the Part window (frmPartCatalog) If we defined part number with a comma (ex: TEST,Part01) it converts to a dot (.) symbol (ex: TEST.Part01) when transferring data. The result was not populating the Part window and it shows as empty.The reason for this is its defined decimal Symbol as comma (,)So can we instruct the customer to change it to dot (.)?will it affect other functional behaviors of the application? -Kelum

FSM: integration_log_detail record without integration_log record

FSM: Is there any possibility to exist integration_log_detail record without a relation with integration_log record?One of the customers has millions of integration_log_details records without connection with  integration_log records.Can we remove all those records from integration_log_detail table?Best Regards-Kelum

Calc Status is Closed in Time Card Day

Hi All,We have an issue related to Absence. When trying to approve an absence, they get an error message indicating that the Account Data is not calculated.When we check the Time Card Day window for the date of the absence requests which are having the issue, we identified that the Calc Status is Closed.This is due to an error in the basic data.The problem is, how can we identify and pin point the  basic data issue?can anyone help?-Kelum

How the transaction rollback functionality work upon locked record?

Hi All,One of the customers has an issue with the Pick_Customer_Order_API. Pick_Reservations__ procedureas it does not seem to roll back in full if it encounters errors during the execution.They encounter the error like below time to timeORA-20113: CustomerOrder.LOCKED2And sometimes, this may cause the issue of not fully picking the customer order.The customer does not care about the locking issue but they want to know why the IFS procedure (Pick_Customer_Order_API. Pick_Reservations__) does not roll back fully when any issues come as above.  They experienced this while using with third-party integration tool.Is there a way to handle the locked record issue in integration with full rollbacking functionality as the customer expected?Best Regards-Kelum

What are the differences of the SSO login mechanisms of FSM Smart Client and Web Client.

HI,We have an issue related to a customer environment that it gives the below error for a particular user when login to the FSM Smart Client. They installed FSM from their Software Centre. FSM is installed to users pc:However, user does not still have access to FSM environment, therefore FSM will display following error message:NOTE: <<customer» is using SSO as well. User does not have still access to log in FSMThe user even cant close the pop-up window by clicking the « Close » button.They have to kill the task from the « Task Manager ». To close the this error.This issue is only in the Smart Client and not for the Web Client and that user can login to web client without any error.What are the differences of the SSO login mechanisms of FSM Smart Client and Web Client?Can anyone help?Best Regards-Kelum

How to find SQL ID using hash number in alert log
