IFS Cloud 22R2 customer is looking forsome documentation on how to set up someone who would be a technician for the Technician Portal. They looked on the page documentation and tried to drill down from there but did not see a step by step what is required to have a technician set up Any guidance will be appreciated.
For an APP10 customer, trying to set the logic to the report rule and raised the question. In the report rules you can point to a variable in the XML (example [@UNIFORM_PAYMENT_ADVICE_REP/IDENTITYS/IDENTITY/COMM_METHOD]) is it possible to add logic to this? Example I want to remove the first 7 characters of that variable. I tried [&select SUBSTR([@UNIFORM_PAYMENT_ADVICE_REP/IDENTITYS/IDENTITY/COMM_METHOD], 7) from dual] but that didn’t work. Our Customer is on 22R Cloud and are in implementation stage.Raised this below question:“Do you know if we can connect external programs (LabelMatrix) to IFS? We have a lot of labels created already and just need to know if we can point the existing label connection to IFS. Currently the label connection points to AX db. Please share some insight on utilizing an external connection for labels. If anyone come across this situation.
My customer is on IFS Cloud 21R2(SU2) and the initial build supposed to include English and Spanish as per the implementation sales proposal.When I logged in the CFG environment,, I changed the language to Spanish in the Account settings. But I do not see the changes in anywhere. I relogged in back but still do not see the changes. Any assistance on what needs to be done in order to see the changes.
Our APP10 UPD12 customer raised this below question. Please give your input: “One of our devision are officially using ProCore now who looks to have an integration with IFS via NovaCura Flow. I am also being told that the team has heard that due to ProCore’s increase in customers using IFS with them, they are trying (or already have?) a direct integration with IFS w/o needing a NovaCura Flow license? Are you able to confirm one way or the other for the ProCore direct or indirect connection with IFS? “ Thanks
Hi, Our customer who is running APP10 UPD11 have recently installed DP Server and client. Below is the question received from customer. Any one have answer for below question: “” I have a couple of questions that I would like to better understand and to grasp the best approach on which Demand Planner tool should be used. I have installed the Demand Planner Client on my machine and have been able to connect to it and it seems to be working now. The desktop version of the Demand Planner is what I understand to be the “Native” version of the IFS Demand Planner Solution. There is also the Demand Planner in the IFS APPS10 IEE application which can be used as well and the same exist in Aurena. My question is this? Is there any difference between these 3 versions in functionality or anything technically that would not allow HF to use them interchangeably? I would greatly appreciate if you could assist me with these questions as I’ve not been able to identify it in any of the IFS documentatio
My customer are in APP10 UPD12 using only Aurena client and MS AAD. They are going to start using the DOCMAN..Here is the question I received from customer “ I need to know the impact of Document Management on the system? We are looking at approximately 1 million + documents per year. What is the impact of using the default repository? What options are available? Ect" I have also read it in community note that “to over come the growing database concern, customer could opt for the other repository options which is already there in the document management.Those other options are FTP and shared folders (on the application server itself or on a network share).”But in another answer FTP and Shared document repositories are currently not supported there. Could someone clarify the above so we can give them a firm solution for this please? Thank youUma Selvaraj
Customer VT is Apps 10 UPD9.Received issue/question form VTWe need an “error” beep, so they know when a bad scan happens. Now it beeps the same whether the top was good or not. On the screen on a bar code that does not belong on the skid it goes to the errorDifferent Beep on error, Is it a configuration on device? How is error pushed out to device?Please assist with this issue.
I’ve found an issue with the IFS XML to JSON transformer. I wanted to check with you first before submitting a bug report in case this was a known issue. I am sending an outbound document (PLSQLAP_DOCUMENT) via IFS Connect. On my routing address, I’ve included the IFS XML to JSON transformer. The generated XML looks correct: <CONTRACT type="Text">0301</CONTRACT> However, after the transformer processes the message, the text field for contract has its leading zero dropped: "CONTRACT": "301", This is causing issues for the service that is consuming this message. Right now I do not have a clean way around this. We have hard coded this value in the app we’re interfacing with as a short term solution, but this will not work long term. In DEV, the package I’m sending from is C_MANUF_INTEGRATION_API. Customer’s Notes:APP10 UPD9 Onpremise customer Aurena onlyWhat I found was if I go to the touch app url from a browser on the scanner it redirects me to the Microsoft sign on page like it would with any of the other IFS login pages. I can log in there and get to the touch apps web page. If I then try to go to the touch apps scan it app instead of getting the java error I get redirected to the Microsoft sign on page as above and am able to sign into the app and use it. If I reboot the scanner and try the touch apps app right away I get the java error again. As soon as I sign into touch apps from a browser I no longer get the java error and instead am prompted to sign in. So what would be the difference between the browser and the app that by logging in through a browser first it would then allow the scan it app to present the correct login page instead of giving us a java error?
