Custom menu to a screen with own process - not populating

Hi, I hope someone will know and can help me.  I have created new page (copy of out of IFS box Safety Inspection form) Alive and Well - Safety inspection, with own process and custom fields.  IFSAPP 9.I am trying to create new custom menu where the user goes to Safety inspections tab and when they click on the custom menu it should link them to my new page Alive and Well - Safety inspection for that specific alive and well or other.  Currently I have this:PROCESS=ca7fe1c8-529f-4302-b369-190101f4888f Custom menu from Safety Inspections:  ifsapf:frmTabSafetyInspection?PROCESS=ca7fe1c8-529f-4302-b369-190101f4888f&COMPANY=&COMPANY&SAFETY_INSPECTION_NO=&CF$_ALIVE_WELL_SI_NO  When I run this: it takes me to correct company and Inspection number, however it doesn’t populate and I am really stuck now, thinking it can’t be done. ifsapf:frmTabSafetyInspection?PROCESS=ca7fe1c8-529f-4302-b369-190101f4888f&COMPANY=RBS&SAFETY_INSPECTION_NO=1051   Can anyone please advice what

Culture is not supported error

Hi,  I am hoping somebody will be able to help me. One of our users reported this issue yesterday. When he opens IFS, he gets this error below. Even if he clicks Close, apparently it keeps popping back. We are on IFSAPP 9.  Did anyone had this before and know how could I fix it or cause of the error?  I have checked all his set up and looks fine.  Thank you for your help . Kind Regards  Kate

Actual creator of PO Change order

Hi,I am just trying to find out if there is a way in IFS APP9 to find who actually created PO Change Order?As when any user creates PO change order it just copies current coordinator and Order History tab doesn't seems to be recording it either. Any ideas please?  Thank you Kate

Customer Offset approval - error message voucher type (B) is not related to function group ()

Hiwe have an issue with customer offset approval - our user gets this error: voucher type (B) is not related to function group () For example this customer offset went succesfully via all approval process as you can see below:  However when our Credit control goes and try to approve this - they get the error message:  We have IFS APP 9.  Hopefully someone will be able to help.  Thank you Kind Regards Kate

Using SUM (search in context) in customer offset screen on few columns

Hi,Hope someone can help me. I am trying to add raw with SUM for few columns on customer offset screen using Search in context (only for Not approved). The line adds to the bottom of my Transactions table, however all fields are blank and not calculated. I have two columns as custom field and one Write Off Amount is standard. Did anyone tried similar thing?  Thank you Kate

Add more gender options under Employee

Hi,  hope somebody will be able to help me. We would like to add more gender options under Employee » Personal » Basics » Misc » Gender dropdown. However I am not sure if this is possible or how this would be done.  Just to let you know that we have IFSAPP9Thank you Kate

Bulk customer credit analyst change on customer screen >> Credit Info

Hi, I hope someone will know and be able to advice. We have over 800 customers assigned currently to one Credit Analyst CA3, however I need to now split those 50:50 and assign first half to CA1 credit analyst and second half to CA2 in IFSApp9.  I am not familiar with migration jobs, so was wondering if there is other way to do this bulk change? Any ideas, or help with migration scrip if needed will be appreciated.  Thank you so much Kind Regards Kate

Safety Inspection - resize position of Question and Action tab

Hi all,  hope somebody can advice as I am not sure.  We use IFSAPP9.We would like to move the tab (window) Questions and Actions little bit lower so we have more space in the header.  I have been trying to do this via Profile » Features and the correct page however it doesn’t seems to be changing.  Would any of you know how this could be done?  Thank you Kind Regards Kate

Reference path different to method signature

Hi All, I don’t know if anybody can help me. I am trying to add a custom field to my “EmpCareerPlan” logical unit as a Read only field as a reference to a COMPANY_PERSON_ALL where I need one field called Position title. I am struggling to change it as you can see is defaulting me to a method signature fields only.  So I need to get reference path fields from COMPANY_PERSON_ALL where I know the “Position title” field exists.  I hope this makes sense. Basically I would like to do when somebody chosen manually reviewer in their performance and development plan the other custom field populate manually with full name of position title (not just short version POS_CODE - SUP = Supervisor). Also the full position title can be taken from here:However this is only persistent field where user would need to do use LOV and they would have to know POS_CODE of reviewer first. So not really good for me. Can somebody tell me if is even possible. Couldn’t work it out with SQL as not sure what arguments

Add Shipment Numbers on Search Dropdown

Hi, I wondered if it was possible for when you search for an order number or PO number in IFS apps 9, it can also have the shipment numbers on the dropdowns?   It would be much easier to know which Order # matches with what shipment #, instead of having to go manually into the shipment to find out. Would anybody know if this can be done and how?  Thank you  Kate

Personal number pulled into "View potential Authorizers / Acknowledgers"

Hi,  hope somebody will be able to advice. We have added a substitute to purchase Requisition line authorization. Using IFS Apps9 UPD17. When you right mouse click on the requisition number and choose to view potential authorizers / acknowledgers it shows you a list as per below, however the one for substitute is showing the personal number which is only listed under Employee » Personal » Contact Persons.   Also I can confirm that not everyone can see it. I would assume that only the relevant substitute can see this (I can’t see it under my login as don’t have HR access).  Would anyone know why this is happening and how could I fix this?  Thank you Kate

Task Schedule 'Run application Server task' for quick report returning "No Data Found"

Hi all,  I hope someone will be able to help me. In IFS Application 9 I have a quick report saved (working fine when viewing in IFS), permissions granted, application server task created as per below: Database task as per below:Scheduled Task as per below: Database Background job is running fine: However when I get my report which I have just scheduled as IFS APP is empty (NO DATA FOUND). As you can see below (just few bits) the report is running fine in IFS.I have also noticed that this is not only report which suddenly started to show “No Data Found”. We have few now for some reason and I can’t really work it out why this would be happening? Hope someone can help or advise.  Thank you Kind Regards Kate

Employee used in several companies to approve holiday

Hi all, I have been given a task to work out how we can make our Chairman to be able to approve the holiday requests in IFS 9 for other MD’s from Multiple companies.  We have 10 different companies where specific MD’s looking after them, however if one of those MD’s needs their holidays approved, they are currently sending an email to our chairman as sadly our chairman is currently set up as part of only one Company. Is there any way how could I make him part of all companies, without messing up all HR and employee records (duplications)? I was hoping that it will be as simple as set him somehow up in Graphical Organization structure and set the position to report for example Head of department reports to Head of organization and he/she report to Chairman. Thank you so much for your ideas and help. Thank youKate

Document text on copied Sales Quotation is hidden and still in use

Hi,I hope someone may be able to help me. This issue listed below has been reported to me and I can’t work it out. Original sales quotation has been raised - including Document text for printing The same quote is being copied - new product added - (no document text is showing)When you Print the first original quotation it prints a document text added as it should.  However the issue is when you try to print the quotation which has been copied and clearly is not showing any document text as second screenshot, it still prints with the same document text as the original sales quotation even nothing is there.  Does anybody have any experience with this? Thank you so much for your help. Kate

Adding New country to "citizen of" list

Hi,  I would like to ask if anybody knows (or done it) how would I add a new country to "citizen of" list under Employee area » Personal tab » Misc tab » Citizen Of. I have been asked by our HR and have no idea if this is possible or not. Can somebody help, please? Thank you Kind Regards Kate
