Excel Migration for Customer Order (Header Detail)

Hi all, Please help. I have an issue migrating data using Excel add-on tools. It use two package API : CUSTOMER_ORDER and CUSTOMER_ORDER_LINE Error when generating the Customer Order Line.Field [ORDER_NO] is mandatory for Customer Order Line and requires a value. FAILED: The Customer Order Line cannot get the Order No generated by Customer Order Thank you all, Regards, bhakti Are you providing the Order No for the header, or generating it using a sequence? I want the Order No to be generated by IFS Application (standard feature)

Single Data Migration job of a Purchase Order

You should be able to do it by referring to the ORDER_NO created from the first method, in the purchase order line method list attribute e.g. ORDER_NO@10 (or whatever execute sequence number your first method has). Created a quick example: Add the methods you want to use Method listRMB on the line method and go to the attribute list Reference the ORDER_NO from method 10 in this case using ORDER_NO@10. I used INTFACE_METHOD_LIST_API.GET_SEQUENCE_NO('PUR_ORDER_NO','NEXTVAL') ro generate the PO number. That works for me. Hi @anmise …I have a similar scenario to create a Customer Order Header and Detail using one Migration Job. I tried using ORDER_NO@10 to get Order No generated by the header but failed. Do you have any idea why? And where this method INTFACE_METHOD_LIST_API.GET_SEQUENCE_NO('PUR_ORDER_NO','NEXTVAL') are used ?Thanks!

Crystal Reports 2020 is supported in IFS Apps10?

Here is the support notes for Apps 10: The runtime engine is compatible with Crystal Report layouts designed with version XI, XI R2, 2011,2013 and 2016. The layouts needs to be designed according to the recommended and supported design guidelines. So CR 2020 isn’t in the list of supported version. However this platform support document isn’t always up to date and it is best to check with your local IFS Support. Hi @Srikanth We have Crystal Reports XI installed on Windows 10, and want to use it for developing IFS10 reportsIt has no problem when we connected it to Oracle 10g. But it can’t connect to Oracle 12c. It error and then crash/exit. We use ODAC 12.1Any idea about this?

Label printing

We have made one solution that use file out migration job. User select data and RMB print label That will run short SQL, what update migration job select and then run that migration. It will then create file (csv or txt) to specifyed folder, where label printing software read it and generate print task. Hi @Jouni .. I have a problem to make local printer print a barcode Can you give the example/documentation of how to :1. formating script for printing 2. send it to migration job, call it, and output the file for printer

Custom Field in Aurena - Technical documentation

@anmise Thank you i mean to ask custom field on overview pages in Aurena. i am trying to add custom field on ‘AR invoices Analysis’ screen in Aurena, that already exists in IEE - IFS10- and cannot find under ‘Contents’ tab. thanks do you already know the answer? how to add the IEE custom field to Aurena?

Hi @bhaktiutama, I mean, if we customize a module in Apps10 - like add a new field/column - will the new column automatically added to the REST API endpoint/projection? There's no binary answer for this question since it totally depends on how the projection is implemented. For example, if the entity set uses the standard entity without any overriding, then these new attributes would be reflected in the projection. If the standard entity is overridden in the projection to only include a specific set of attributes, then the new attributes won't be reflected in the projection. However, the majority of the standard projections doesn’t override the standard entity to only include a specific set of attributes, hence the new attributes would be reflected in the projection. Hi @bhaktiutama, But OData is placed under user interface Aurena documentation, and I don’t see anything about Odata in the IFS Connect/integration menu. IFS Connect is an integration broker and now it supports REST Sender, hence you can utilize the features of IFS Connect when consuming 3rd party RESTful webservices. Refer below documentation about IFS RESTful APIs.IFS RESTful APIsUsing IFS RESTful APIsConfigure the REST Transport ConnectorAPI explorer overview Is it still best practice to develop integration with a third-party app using OData, even though we will not use the Aurena ?. Yes, I would recommend developing RESTful APIs using integration type projections to expose webservices in IFS. This is due to various reasons like performance, adaptability, ease of extensibility, widely supported and ease of upgrade to IFS Cloud. create Supplier invoice aquatically.

Some alternatives:if you want to read a supplier invoice from pdf (scanned hardcopy), you can use RPA UIPath with OCR functionality. It will read the pdf with a specific pattern to get the data, and then the UIPath robot will enter it into IFS Application. if you can manage to get the invoice digitally (CSV format, API, SOAP), you can create an external application to read the CSV and post it to IFS Application using IFS Connect (REST API).

How To Make Token Expired Longer ?

Hi Björn,Thank you for your answer. The documentation you provide gives me a lot of insight. But I choose to make the token longer using refresh_token. IFS Aurena development Security Considerations

Hello, Is there any way to make a POST call to IFS API from another application. I already have the token access. Hi, a beginning of an answer : _ from Postman Authorization screen, select OAuth2.0 as type, and hit button Get New Access Token : _ On the Get New Access Token form, fill in like that : {{ifs_mws_url}} is a postman variable containing the url of your application (https://server:48080). Client ID and Secret are available in the Middleware Server Admin Console : _ Hit Request Token. An IFS login page must appear asking you to log in. _ If the login is good, IFS returns an usable token : _ Hit Use Token to include it to your request. dear @Sébastien DELAURE .. I have tried this method. But when I hit “Request Token” button, it did not show login page but but only ifs race home page. Is there any setting that I’ve missed ?
