Hi Nimesh,Even though this window is in Core solution, the needed Functions are uploaded in the Payroll Extension. Which means this ‘External Absence Import’ functionality can be only done through Payroll extension.At the moment this Absence Import can not be done only with core solution.
Hi,@KEGMARIE We do have the option to Filter Direct Reports in the Absence Approval Calendar VIEW as well.But like @ADDMARIAE has mentioned, the current calendar ONLY shows the employees, if there are reported Absences. Because it’s similar to a list of Absences in the Overview Page.
Hi @eqbstal ,I’ll start with a use case .Let’s say you are a manager of group of employees and you created a new Project Activity or Work Task for a new Project / Work Order and you want to pass the information to your employees so that they can report time.One option is of course to send details about the Project/Sub Project/Activity/Report code etc.. But with this you can Generate the Link for the exact combination that the employees should use (fill) when reporting time and send it to the employee (email or using any other medium). So when the employees click this link (they can also save the links as browser bookmarks), the Time Registration Page will open with the Report Time Dialog by filling all the fields in the Report Time Dialog. So employees has only to add the hours and Save.Also you can create a Custom Lobby Element with the Generated Links and Publish the Lobby Element in a Lobby page common for Employees (Roles).Regards,Thejaka
Hi @eqbstal ,At the moment users has to copy the link manually because we don’t have the support to provide a command button like “Copy to Clipboard”.Also the Link is automatically changing when ever the user changes the fields above. Hi @girish ,In the Absence Limit Definition (where you define the limit definition for a Absence Type), there is a field to add another Absence Type as the ‘Carry Forward’ Absence Type. At the point of generating the Limit you have to generate the limit for the Carry Forward Type as well.Ex - Let’s Say Main Absence Type is called ‘VACATION’ and then you create a new Absence Type called ‘CF_VACATION’ and connect that as the Carry Forward Type for the main VACATION absence type.Then when generate absence limits for VACATION you will get 20 days and when you generate absence limits for CF_VACATION you will get 15.For the user they ONLY have to use the main absence type VACATION when reporting absence. all the 35 days are linked to the VACATION.Also the default allocation is first carry forward limit and then the main limit. @girish You have to create a separate Absence Type in the same Absence Group. And that Absence Type should NOT have an Absence limit Definition Definition. This List of Values ONLY shows the Absence Type in the SAME group that are NOT having a Absence Limit Definition record.When you Generate the Limits for the Carry Forward Type, the Limit Amount can not be entered since system is automatically calculating the remaining limit.
@girish That is strange. Can you send me 2 screenshots of,Limit Definition Record Absence Registration records you have created for the 2 Days (with the limit used column)like this,
@girish Can you RMB on the Absence Registration and select ‘Limit Used’ and check whether the limit is used from ‘EL’ (2 days)?I have a small confusion because January 1st of 2022 is a Sunday right? is it a working day for the Employee’s Schedule?And the now when you go to 2023 limits and delete the EL-CARRY line and generate the limit for EL-CARRY for 2023, are you still getting 20 instead of 18?

Hi @TopMalinG ,Isn’t it the ‘column chooser’ you need in the ‘Lists’ to be customized?As I remember, the Layout tab is available when you RMB and go to Properties in ‘Form Windows’. In Expense Sheet window, if you RNB on the top header group you will get the Layout tab since using that you can configure the layout.But in a List (like ‘Expenses’ tab), there is no layout to configure. It the list of columns that can be moved to change the order. right? Regards,Thejaka

@M_P_S If you are using ‘My Expense Sheet Details’ page, then YES. you have to add the attachment after adding the Expense Records. Because that is the standard document management behavior.Having said that, we have another Assistant called ‘Quick Expense Reporter’ where the user can attach either DOCUMENT or MEDIA at the same time when creating the expense line. Whether its the DOCUMENT panel or MEDIA panel is decided by the below check box called ‘Add Attachments using Media’ in the EXPENSE RULE.when OFF → its DOCUMENTS when ON → its MEDIA Cheers,Thejaka
Hi Sanduni, When the ‘Main Reg Type’ is selected, you could only use that type to Register the Absences. All the other types are now connected to the main type for Limit Allocation depending on the defined order.Let’s Say you have available limit 5 Days, 2 Days, 3 Days respectively for SL01, SL02, SL03. When the user reports an Absence of 8 Days using the SL01 without giving a ‘No Limit’ error, remaining Days will be taken from SL02 and SL03.Best Regards,Thejaka

Hi,You can grant ‘HR Application manager’ Grant from the ‘Supervisor Access Setup’ Page.You need to log into the System as another HR Application Manager User or IFSAPP to grant this for another Person.Please note that this Role should be granted only for Authorized Users since with this Role, the User will be able to see All the Data of the Employees in the Companies that the User has Access To. Hi @Romana,Carry Forward Absence Type can only be used as Carry Forward Absence Type. They cannot be defined again as a Main Absence Type in the Limit Definition. And currently in the Application Carry Forwarded Limit cannot be Carry Forward again. Instead during the First Carry Forward, the End Date can be Extended as you needed.To see if we have another option here, can you explain the Business Scenario here?Cheers,Thejaka
Hi @Romana ,When you are generating the Carry Over Limit for VP, You can Extend the Limit End Date till the end of 2023. (Which means the 2 Days of VP can be used in 2022 & 2023).Would that work for you?Cheers,Thejaka
