Product Structure - Warning Message

This is raised if any of the subassembly has non buildable structure alternate for the default Alternate (Hope the selected Structure Alternate is the default), so the culprit subassembly can be a component of a Planning Method = P (Phantom) or Planning Method = K (Blow through) component part at any level in the Product Structure of the Parent Part, E.g. The error could be raised if the Phantom Subassmbly3 is not Buildable.Parent Part |Phantom Subassembly1 - Buildable|Phantom Subassembly 2- Buildable|Phanom Subassembly3 - Not BuildableAlso make sure to check in the Structure Type and Revisions.This error is raised due to the tentative K subassembly below

Inventory Part In Stock Revisions/Engineering Transfers

Hi Dylan;When you transfer a New Revision from Engineering to Manufacturing if the state of the Product Structure for the existing Manufacturing Revision is Buildable, then a new Revision is to be created.But if the existing Revision is Tentative and the First Revision, then the system will create New Revision for the Transferred Structure, and in the next transfer if the existing Structure Revision is Tentative and not the First Revision, system will overwrite the existing Tentative Revision from the Transferred Structure and will not create a new Manufacturing Revson to stop the creation of so many Tentative Revisions. Fist Revision is considered as an exception when it comes to use up the existing Tentative Revisions.The handling revisions during the Put away is something to be answered by the Distribution Team who owns this Putaway Functionality.

Hi The duration calculation also depending on the Site Setting “Calendar Consideration”, if the entire time is to be considerd, the setting should be set to “All Time”Calendar Consideration in the Site/Extended Site Info/Manufacturing will decide which time intervals between the start time and end time of the clocking should be considered for the calculation. Possible values are:Calendar Time Only: Only the calendar work hours between the start and stop time is considered. Problems copying to cost set one

No matter a template is connected to a Part Cost Group, when Part Cost Group is entered in the Copy Dialog, only the parts belonging to that group are copied to Cost Set 1, so the parts not belonging to the entered Group will not get copied to cost set 1.

Split Shop Order Permissions

I think we can try presentation object security here; we only disable the “New” RMB Option from the Particular Permission Set.The pain is this has to be done in all the places in the Clients where the New Option is enabled.Still there can be places where Shop Orders are created from Requisitions/ DOP/ Customer Orders etc.So its not impossible, but lot of manual work to make sure New Shop orders are not created for the users assigned to this permission set.

Shop Order Material Issue Tolerance

Hi;One possible way to get this done by adding a Scrap Factor for the Component part and leave the “Reserve/Issue Planned Scrap” Check Box un checked.So the portion defined as scrap is not auto issued during the processing.

Why partially received shop order shows completely received, when we close the shop order?

The Products state “Completely Received” is set based on the remaining qty to be received on the Shop Order, when the Shop Order is closed, it is assumed that there cannot be any further receipts made against the Shop Order. So in the Closed State we cannot expect to have any Morre recipts so what ever to be received is assumed to be completely received.

Here you have chosen the close tolerance to be 99%, So any fractional receipt would meet this condition. Try repeating by entering 0 in the Close Tolerance.

Configured orders creating 2 shop orders for 1 customer order line

If this is happening, it should be a BUG and please report.Hope the lot size of each shop order = Order qty on the Customer Order LineShop Orders are created when the Customer Order is Released, Credit block and capability check is happening before the release, so that should not trigger a Shop Order when the Customer Order is not in Released state.
