Hello,I set up a supplier invoice payment authorizer- User : Tarek_Abdelhedi, can authorize until 50000€ (supervisor = DF)- User : DF can authorize without limitsWhen i try to approuve the invoice with user Tarek_Abdelhedi, i get this error message which is normal.When i try to approuve the invoice with user DF (which is the supervisor), i got the same error which is not normal. In IFS page help, as a supervisor, i am supposed to approuve above the maximum amount defined.Can you please let me know about this issue ?Thanks,Tarek
Hello, My customer would like to edit the payment file that is generated by IFS (CFONB320 related to French legislation) by adding an information in the external file. That file will be interfaced with the cashtool.He would like to add the /INTC/ (as mentionned here) to the standard file. That is a cell that is specified for specific comments in the legislation.Customer file : Standard file : Do you know where it’s possible to setup that information in IFS somewhere ? As i was looking for the external file and still didn’t find it.Can i edit the payment file to fill in the customer’s needs ? Any suggestions ? Thanks.
Hello,We are looking for a solution regarding shipment with incoterms DAP/DDP. Those incoterms imply that the goods remain to be the vendor's ownership until the delivery completely done.Currently, when we press the button "Deliver" in the shipment (as soon as the freight left the factory), the goods are delivered and the lines are ready to be invoiced. As the shipment can be be up to 3 days, the lines shouldn't not invoiced until delivery has been confirmed and the parts should be in the vendor's books. We explored few solutions :1- Use "Confirm Delivery" in the customer file and "Delay Costs of Goods Sold to Delivery Confirmation" in the company file => It doesn't work with configured parts2- Use Transit shipment locations => Not ideal as it is complety manual and requieres some additional steps. Today, we don't have any solution other than stop the shipment 3 days before month end. The ideal would be "Transit" locations, which would block the invoicing. Do you have any other s
Hello everyone, I am using IFS Cloud 22R2. We are using posting proposals.When i create a manual supplier invoice, and select the PO Reference list, all the PO are fetched even the ones that were completely matched/closed.Also, when i select a specific supplier, the POs that are displayed are not filtered with the supplier.Is it a bug or did it occur previously ? Hi all, I have a question regarding the inventory closure for month-end period. As soon as the period is closed (user group NON AC), I would like to freeze my inventory. It means that the new receptions won’t be able to impact my inventory value for the previous period.I launched the “Aggregate Inventory Transactions per Period” then i tried to receive a PO in March and i had this error message (which is a good news)Can anyone explain me what are the transactions that are blocked ? When should i generate that routine ? Is it related ? Is it possible to close the inventory value statistic period 1 day before the actual month end ? Hello, I need some help regarding AP/AR Netting with my customer.The companies within the group are buying and selling each other goods. Let’s suppose the company A has an AP Balance with company B (1500€) and an AR Balance with company B (4200€).At the end of the month, the AP Balance is offset in a intercompany offset account (Credit) and the AR Balance offset as well in the same account (Debit).So, the intercompany offset account balance is the difference (so -2700€)The netting functionality allows me to offset the same amount in AP and AR (here 1500€), but i would like to post the difference.Is it possible to execute such process in IFS ? Which posting controls are involved ?Also, is it possible to have a different account for each one of the sister companies ? Thanks, Tarek
Hi,We are testing the financial close period and i have a major mistake here.When i close a user group in a period (ex.: NON AC), i expect to have an error in the table "Supply Chain Manufacturing Posting Analysis" when registering a PO Arrival.I noticed that i had no error displayed and it is really affecting my period closing. Maybe i am missing a certain setup ? In IFSAPPS 10, the error was displayed but not in Cloud 22R2.Can you please help me here ?Thanks.
Hello, On our project, we are experimenting an issue regarding PO/Invoice Matching on the inventory parts.The inventory parts are set up :Inventory Valuation Method : Weighted Average Supplier Invoice Consideration : Transaction Based When considering a gap between the PO and the invoice, i would like to apply a tolerance (defined in the company) and authorize automatically. Of course, i don't want to generate an approval workflow for each invoice. Also, i don't want the accountant to manually change each line. On the posting proposal, the automatic tolerance posting blocked is ticked (below the information) meaning that we can't apply the tolerance applied on the company. "Automatic Tolerance Posting BlockedThis check box automatically appears selected if automatic tolerance posting is blocked for the posting proposal. Hello everyone, I am trying to connect advance payments to my expense sheets but it is not available to the connection.Our process :The employee creates a travel request The employee requests an advance payment in the tab “Payments” The supervisor approves the travel request The finance authorize the advance payment and pays the employee The employee convert the travel request into an expense sheet Here, the travel request is already connected to the expense sheet My issue is when the amount of the expense sheet is greater than the expense sheet amount.Let’s take the example of an advance payment of 1500 CAD and the expense sheet is only 1200 CAD. The setup for the inventory parts : Weighted average for the purchased parts Standard cost, per configuration for manufactured partsAt the creation of the shop order, the standard cost is calculated using the structure information.I have a question regarding the standard cost update :We may have a time lap between the shop order creation and the shop order process. So if the components parts costs are updated (eg.: variance of the purchased price) I would like to update the standard cost and include the component parts costs, into the inventory value.I have already setup a migration job, to update the shop order costs. But this migration job, doesn’t update the standard cost.Do you have any inputs regarding the automatic update the shop order standard cost, through the shop order cycle ?Thanks, Tarek
Hi all, I have an issue regarding travel request configuration.My customer’s workflow :Employee creates a travel request Supervisor needs to approve Finance approves the advance payment (if requested) Employee converts the travel request into an expense sheet (then supervisor and finance approve)When i create a travel request, the approval workflow is not generated. Thus, i can’t approve the travel request. For demonstration purposes, i am not using an approval workflow for the moment.The travel request is blocked at the “confirmed” status. Hello, I have an issue when it comes to the PO/Invoice Matching for the inventory part. It’s working perfectly for non-inventory part and no part. I am working on IFS Cloud. When i capture the supplier invoice and generate the posting proposal, i get an error message saying that the posting proposal is unbalanced. It’s like the system doesn’t recognize the PO lines. Then, i need to manually match the PO Receipts, and it’s working. I don’t need to capture the PO Ref, as it’s working correctly when i leave it blank. Please find below my setups (company and supplier level).Supplier : Company : Can someone help me figure out the issue here ?Thanks
