Importing a Page Design to an environment

Hi Everyone, I have a question regarding importing ACP containing a new Page Configuration createdin Aurena Page Designer in IFS Cloud R22.I have added a custom field to a standard page STDPage1 in envirnoment1.I have exported this to an Application Configuration Package ACP1.I have imported ACP1 to environment2, as a result of which validation and importing of elements in ACP1 has been done.Now comes the final and most difficult part. In all the documentation I have read all I have to do now is Publish to make the STDPage1 available for use in environment2.I cannot find out where exactly I am supposed to execute this Publish!Is there anyone out there who can point me in the right direction, please? Updating user profiles after migrating from APPS8 to IFS Cloud

Hi All, We are in the process of migrating from APPS8 to IFS Cloud and I’m having trouble updating a particular user profile so that I can use it to access IFS Cloud. I have chosen one of the simplest users (minimal screens/functions available) which requires minimal modifications.I have allocated the appropriate, I think, Projections to a Permission set for this user but when I try to log on I get a number of popup windows with errors relating to Profile and Person info.See below:- Can anyone point me in the right direction to help resolve my difficulties with logging on to IFS Cloud please? Enumeration LOV only visible for IFSAPP

Hi,This problem is occurring in IFS APPS8.I have made changes to a custom enumeration list logged on as IFSAPP. Published the changes and reloaded the configuration and verified that the changes are then visible in the relevant screen which is Report in Work Order.However, when I log in as another user the list of values that should appear as a drop down list for the relevant column in the Report in Work Order screen is blank. 2 values were added to a list that originally contained 3 values.While logged on as user nguild (instead of IFSAPP) I can actually go to the Custom Enumeration screen (view Custom Objects from the context menu) and view all of the values in the list but I can’t see them in the drop down list for the column in the Report in Work Order screen. Can anyone point me to the solution to this problem please? Cheers,Neil.

Custom Field not available in Shop Order Availability screen

Hi, This problem is occurring in IFSAPP8.I would like to add a column to the details section of the Shop Order Availability screen to show the related operation number for each line. However, after I have added the ‘Operation No’ successfully via the Custom Objects>Fields>Create New process and generated the SHOP_MATERIAL_ALLOC_CFP package by Publishing the ShopMaterialAlloc Logical Unit. And selecting the option Custom Objects>Reload Configuration. When I then RMB on the details heading line of the screen and select Column Chooser, there is no ‘Operation No’ available. However, when I happened to look at the Shop Order Material Planning screen and tried RMB in the details heading line of this screen, the ‘Operation No’ was available to select!The selection of the Custom Objects>Fields>Overview option from both the Shop Order Availability screen and the Shop Order Material Planning screen shows that the Logical Unit is the same – which is ShopMaterialAlloc.Why is the Ope

Creating CSV files when printing Invoices in IFSAPP8

Hi IFS Community, Can anyone help me out with a little job I have, please? I need to create a CSV file on printing a certain type of invoice within IFS. I have seen that there are various places where files can be created and placed on the appropriate DB server. These seem to be scheduled Data Migration jobs but I want to do something based on the printing of the invoice. How can I do this? Maybe using Routing Rules might be an answer?I’m sure that there must be a simple approach to solving this but I don’t know it, yet ;-). Can anyone point me in the right direction, please? Adding an item to work order cost/revenue analysis screen

Hi everyone, I would like to add work_order_status to the ‘Work order cost/revenue analysis’ screen and I need confirmation regarding whether I need to add a logical unit and custom field to effect this? I have managed to add the item to the View, but IFS cannot ‘see it’, so I can’t select it form the Column Chooser. Cheers,Neil.

Cache refresh after custom field modification

Hi, I have made changes to the SQL Statement for a custom field which do not appear to have been ‘accepted’ by IFS and displayed on the IFS screen. I read in the Help that a refresh of the cache is necessary - can anyone help me with how to refresh the cache to get my SQL change to be ‘accepted and implemented’ by IFS 8 please? Thanks,Neil.

Synchronise Custom Field in IFS 8

Hi, I would be very grateful for someone to let me know how to Synchronise a Custom Field please?Custom Fields for the relevant Logical Unit are set as RowKey Activated, Approved and Published but the Synchronised checkbox is not ticked. Cheers,Neil.

Table population

Hi, I am new to an existing IFS 8 system and am trying to find out why some columns in a Base Table are not getting populated with the correct values. I need to find out how these columns are being populated.The columns in the Base Table are being populated as a result of Printing a Supplier Schedule.I presume that there is some kind of event being triggered, but I don’t know how to find it!I have found a logical unit which seems to be involved but it only has details of how a view is populated from the Base Table concerned.The logical unit has these details included:-Base TableBase ViewBase Package.The Base Package just has various Functions and Procedures for discrete values whereas I’m looking for a “CREATE OR REPLACE ‘Base Table’ AS …..” statement with the appropriate SELECT statement to follow which will show how the Base Table is being populated. IFS version 8 interface to Crystal Reports

Hi, I am new to both IFS and Crystal Reports.I have a screen in IFS (set up by somebody else) which displays all the required data but when I try printing the screen, one of the fields is missing in the Crystal Report that is generated.Can anyone tell me how the Crystal Report is invoked by the print button when right-clicking in the IFS screen, please?Or point me to the relevant tutorials. Date format in IFS Active Work Order screen

Hi, I want to change the date format for a particular column in the Active Work Order screen which is showing it as yyymmdd and I want to change it to be dd/mm/yyyy. Can you tell me where I need to make this change please? It is show in the highlighted line in the image below.Thanks.Neil.
