From reading IFS Online Documentation it was concluded that this could be done using Process Code in the GL Automatic Posting Rules. • Two process codes are added to Basic Data: SCRAP and SPLIT; • A GL Automatic Posting Rule which is configured with Process Code SPLIT and "Rollfwd" code OTH; • There is a similar GL Automatic Posting Rule which is configured with Process Code SCRAP and a different "Rollfwd" code. “
There is an IL defined by someone and when an end-user tries to add himself to that via ‘Users per Internal Ledger’, the window is empty even when he populates it. He can see the IL in ‘Define Internal Ledger’ screen and also can see the IL in Accounting Periods. Required permissions are available for this user, is available in users per company, users per user groups etc.However, when the user is added to ‘Users per Internal Ledger’ by app owner, he can view the list and do the required activities in that IL.Could someone explain if the core functionality is designed this way? I.e. only the end-user who creates the IL ID can add others who need to use the IL/view the IL details (initially) in to ‘Users per Internal Ledger’?
Hello,Does anyone know if there is a way to restrict viewing of Manual Supplier Invoices in a company?There is a set of LTU users of a customer who would need no access to view certain Manual Supplier Invoice and they currently see all.As Invoice Posting Authorization is to restrict the Authorization level they cannot authorize them, but is there a way to limit invoice viewing as well?

Could someone explain how the tolerance is calculated on a Posting Proposal and how it is being finally posted? Does it consider both % and Amount defined in the company/supplier level? Reason for the clarification: A customer requested a lobby to reflect the number of PO matched invoices that have the PPV within tolerance and the PO matched invoices that have the PPV outside tolerance.
I was informed that Counselor ID is the Supervisor ID who has access to a particular employee. When selecting the Counselor ID via LOV in Employee Development Plan> counseling plan tab, there is a list of Supervisors shown, however, not all supervisors who has access to the employee. For example, Matt is a supervisor of Donna and is listed as a Supervisor on Employee-Access Info as well. Also is available as the supervisor in Employee File summary. But when l go to the LOV in Counselor ID field, Matt is not listed there. Matt has access to Donna and is valid and active for the period and l logged in from app owner as well.Need to know if there is any other condition required for a Supervisor to be defined as a Counselor?
A customer has an Asset account in which the ‘Ledger Account’ checkbox is not checked. This account had been used for several Manual Voucher transactions that are already posted to GL as well.Now they need this account to be changed as a Ledger Account, as they prefer to use that in a Posting Control.Is it safe to make such non-ledger account as a ledger account via a data repair? What consequences it may have other than that account being not able to be used for manual vouchers afterwards?

Customer has below question raised via case G2346682, could someone please provide an input on this?Description:We have PDF's for example attached to invoices inside IFS line items to access these files directly.Can these attachments be backed up to the FTP site? ftpna.ifsworld.com/100469We are looking for a way to access the attachments, exporting them all to FTP with some type of identifier referencing the order they came from could be one method. Allowing us access to the attachments via the back end could be another method. Open to suggestions.
Is there a way in core functionality to have the completed Contract Change Orders be excluded from appearing in new Project Forecasts? Customer concern (APPS10):“When a contract change order is completed, we would no longer want to see the contract values in the new forecasts. For some reason, these old CCO's are still showing values in the forecast and are muddying to numbers in the forecast reports. Can you please inform us how we can overcome this issue?”
The problem sent by customer: “ When I open an image from IFS in Windows photo viewer and want to save it as a PDF but with that you can only see the edges of each page in the file (middle does not show).We have a colleague who uses Microsoft document image viewer (2010) where everything opens as normal, however, this is an outdated program and is no longer available for download.Changing the default .Tif viewer to Windows 10 “Photos” app also does not work as only the first page in the .Tif files is shown, even though the file contains several pages. Which program is recommended for use in opening .Tif files in IFS? “
