Dear Community,We are new at making lobby pages and right now we are having a challenge with the DMS approvals. In Apps 9, we have an advanced query as saved search on the start page, where the logged in user can see all pending approval steps assigned directly to User-ID and person groups (when member of one).Does anyone have an idea how this could be realised with a lobby data source+element in IFS Cloud?Approvals pageThank you very much for your support.Best, Lidija

Dear Community,Somehow we are not able to register time for a project in our IFS Cloud environment. The project and its activity are released, report codes/ressources are assigned and no project access active.I get no results when I search for my data in the “Time registration” page , but when I count hits I get 1 record (as below) Do we need any new permission/license or further settings in the Cloud compared to Apps 9? Thank you for your help.
Dear Community,In Apps 9, it was possible to select the "global" function for saved searches with a checkbox, making the search accessible from other pages like as list view and detail view.Example: customer order / customer orders. This function was very useful because the user only needed to set up the search once. The checkbox:I therefore also miss having all of my saved searches in a list view as an end user. As an administrator, I am aware that I have access to personal profile and in there the saved searches. Has the name of this page been renamed or discarded? In Apps 9:Thank you for your help ahead.Best, Lidija
Dear Community,Is there an official statement from IFS on the naming of the contexts?Theoretically, I can create in each projection the same context name as grouping function. In this way I can save configuration context mapping entries. Could this lead to database conflicts in the future? Appriciate your feedback.Example
Hi Community The German expense process in IFS Apps 9 is new to us. Our finance team wants to know if postings can be corrected without removing supervisor and employee approval/confirmation from the expense sheet. We are aware that we can remove, but the finance team does not want the expense report to require further employee or supervisor approval/confirmation again. As our finance are the subject matter experts, the finance department would occasionally have to correct an incorrect tax code as an example.
Hello Community,Currently, the production planning department has a very interesting question. They want to know (and of course see in IFS) how long a shop order will block a certain physical production area.Example: Shop Order 12 occupies all of room B and one-fourth of the production space in room A. The scheduling of the production area is of course also related to other shop orders and can therefore not be assigned to the article in a fixed manner. In other words, another resource that can be assigned to the Shop order and is focused on the shop order start and end dates would be required. My first thoughts were on the work centers. These, however, are less flexible because they are assigned to a operation in routing. The concept to (mis)use machine utilization for this, given that we don't use machine hours, also originated in the department. Do you have any implementation suggestions? Or is there a module we are without? Thanks for your inputs! Best, Lidija
Dear All,According to the Indian Ministry of Company Affairs (MCA) notification dated March 24, 2021 (Companies (Accounts) Amendment Rules, 2021), for the financial year beginning on or after April 1, 2021, every company that uses accounting software to maintain its books of account shall use only Accounting Software that has a feature of recording an - Audit Trail of each and every transaction, Creating an edit log of each change made in books of account along with the date when such changes were made. Ensuring that the audit trail cannot be disabled. The MCA has later announced that the above amendments will take effect on April 1, 2023, which suggests that accounting software used by businesses will have to comply with the Accounts Rules beginning in the financial year 2023-24. What is the solution in IFS Application regarding Audit Trail features as per MCA Mandate?Which transactions are considered for Audit Trail features?
