Can we identify our modifications ourselves?

All the custom objects above is just configurations and our responsibilities. Modifications in code is what I try to find, like integrations etc. Some of them can be found in PL/SQL developer starting with “IFSAPP.c_” (c for configurations) but that might not be universal and not everything is there.

WaDaCo Pick By Choice serialized and lot/batch

Hi, I have a related question I think, I have lot/batch on a part. Two batches in inventory.I reserv one batch and create the pick list.Use Scan IT Aurena App and the Report picking of parts-process. Then when I pick, I can still select any of the batches by choice and the reservation would change. No warning that we do not pick according to reservation. Is this what you are looking for?Is this the way it should be, not caring about reservations?

Wadaco- Picture of parts, update from PDM system. How?

I got it to work in the Register Arrival process! However, it does not work when i have the image on master part (it is visible in inventory part but as a link). I have to add it specifically on the inventory part.Does it have to be that way or can i get it inherited automaticcally to the inventory part? It makes sense for us to have the image generated to the global master part.

Its been a while since i did some WaDaCo configuration. How do I get the picture to show up in the process? Like the car did for you? Im now using IEE.

Thank you Dario, I will do some initial tests. Do you know if there is any pre-defined process for adding pictures for a part using wadaco and camera? That would be usefull for parts that do not have a picture today that the warehouse staff can add it themselves.

Subcontraction invoicing - Sum up orders weekly?

Is there any support in IFS to create weekly invoice data for us to send to the supplier, based on the received purchase orders? So that they can send us one invoice instead of MANY?

Automate register arrival-process

Sorry to bump this thread, but it is important for our process. Does anyone have any idea on how toGetting rid of the receive-step (only register arrival or inspection result) Being able to automatically print the transport task document once it is created from the receipt (and select a specific printer).Thankful for any help!

Hi @LundahlOskar , We use a custom event, custom logical unit and custom package to automatically print labels to a Zebra label printer using the Bartender software. We developed a label template which is used by Bartender to merge the data to output the label. The custom logical unit is where we place the data we wish to print including the printer and label template. Bartender automation monitors the custom logical unit and when it sees an insert pulls the data and merges it and prints the label. We use the custom event to kick off the process when we see the received state change to arrival or received. We use the custom package to extract data from IFS and store it in the custom logical unit. We also have some business logic in the custom package. You could expand the custom package to create a transport task and release it although we do not use transport task so I don't know the API. I maybe able to share our custom package and custom logical unit layout if you wis

Workflow for supplier changes (4 eyes needed)

We have been using it for a while now and it is doing what it should. However there is a thing I do not get to work as we want to:Change the user name in the approval steps after the approval has started. (if I get an approval step that is supposed to go to another user) Can I change it?

I’m not familiar with working with document management, but if we would use the Document ID in some way, does that mean that I can save the monthly forecast for future reference automatically. If so, how?

It now seems like the issue was that we on the quick report never have used the Publish button. We just use manage grants. So even if all grants are there, the publish click seems to make it possible for IFS to send the email.

Hi @LundahlOskar , As of start, could you please verify whether one of following exemptions has been enabled in your data. If it is, please untick these checkboxes and run the process. I have checked every company, customer and supplier in our system and none have it ticked.

It works and the lobbyelements were useful. Now we can track it on department and also show the top scrap parts on cost and frequency.

Solved the sql query myself, put select * first and removed ID from the unpivot select *from ( select Supplier_id as "Id", name as "Name", ASSOCIATION_NO as "ASSOCIATION NO" from SUPPLIER_INFO_GENERAL ) unpivot(val for fld in("Name", "ASSOCIATION NO"))

Hi, How do I get the IAL to take the lobby parameter Supplier_ID? I want only the data for the specific supplier to be visible. Can the IAL take a parameter in the definition, $SUPPLIER_ID$? In which case, the IAL needs to include Supplier_No column too. It could look like below: Then in the lobby config, you can retrieve data related to your supplier by adding the condition Supplier_No = $SUPPLIER_ID$ I do not know how to add that to my query, do you know? The concept: select fld, valfrom ( select Supplier_id as "Id", name as "Name", ASSOCIATION_NO as "ASSOCIATION NO" from SUPPLIER_INFO_GENERAL where supplier_id = '10091' --here i select the supplier id right now. ) unpivot(val for fld in("Id", "Name", "ASSOCIATION NO"))

I have found a solution that seems to work every time. I add a count(column) in the column section and the type has to be TEXT. If I select type as Number, it works sometimes and sometimes it dont. Since it doesnt matter that it is text for the use of the lobby element, i just have to remember to set it to type TEXT. Hope it helps someone with the same problem!

Set standard value for automatic order closing, new purchase parts

Hi, Thank you Linda. We have a lobby element and fix them manually, but we create many new purchase parts every day so it would make more sense if we could set the default somewhere.For instance, we can set automatic order close defaults on Shop order in the base data, but not on purchase order.Is custom event the only way to go then if we want it automatically?

Is it possible to add visualised charts in a lobby? IFS 10

Thanks, Im aware of the lobby element types. I just thought it would be greate if I could use the charts as pre defined in the visualization view and their functionality.So i consider the answer to my question to be no.

Just tried it and it seems to work. Now we just have to define the rutine and the lobby elements/reports that goes with it in case any third party revision takes place. Thanks!

We are on version 10. I would like to evaluate the approval workflow with DocMan. Could you point me to any documentation on what that is and how to set it up?
