Hi,In the old Project Delivery this was not there either.But we have build a “Update Structure” modification for multiple customers to grow or change the BOM based on the revisions in PDM. This becomes a bit complex because so of the components might already be purchased or manufacture, and the BOM of a SO used to build the parent might already been given to production. Whish means if a new revision needs different components you would need to do this manuallyif you only have a growling BOM, never changing, than it should be an easier Modification. Regards Erik
Hi,I think it depends on the supply code. The default supply code is Project Invent I think. In that case the cost is already on the project, via the Project stock.If you change the supply code to Invent Order or Purchase Order Trans, I think it will show the Planned cost.Hope that helpsRegards Erik

Hi, A Program is to combine multiple projects that are connected to each other in some way,for example a Feasibility study and a building project in EPC, or multiple project on different Companies have the same Program ID. But usually all for the same end result the same vessel building or plantA project category defines the type of project so the Feasibility project and the Building project above have different category of project. Hi,There a re multiple ways of doing this e.g. in the OS on the server, with a scheduled script.If you want IFS to do this then probably Connect can do the job.If you store the CSV from the migration in a folder, connect can monitor that folder and via a Routing rule it can move that file from the folder to a FTP folder. Hi,in IFS this is currently not possible.you can make a start to start relation and a finish to finish relation, but that is not the same.In IFS that does not influence the duration of the activity.Looks like you want a Hammock Activity like P6 can do.So you could integrate with P6 and schedule there, or make a small CRIM item that does this for you.The scheduling is rather simple ricght? the hammock activity has a planned start = planned start of the source, and a planned finish = planned finish of the source.You would need a Custom Menu Item to trigger a small script to do this for you, after you scheduled the rest of the project in IFSRegards Erik
Hi,there is no possibility to change it, except manual as wanted delivery date on the PO (or SO)If you have a shop order, it will use the lead-time of the shop order.The idea is that the PD item is a deliverable in that activity , so it needs to be there at the end of that activity.From a planning perspective the activity where it can get build into a higher level (or used) precedes the acquiring activity.Hop this helpsRegards Erik

Hi Ron,I think what it needs is a Manufacturing structure to be able to create a SO (did not test)You are not allowed to create one if its purchased(Raw). Purchased(Raw) is for raw materials basicallySo solution could beSet part to Purchased instead of Raw This does not change the behavior in MRP or anything as long as there is no buildable purchase structure with components Create a manufacturing structure (no need for component parts or setting it buildable) Now you can create a SO from Project delivery using the structure defined there Would that help?Regards Erik

Hi Penny,That is correct, project invoices from project transactions only pick-up project transactions. Project transactions are for time, expenses and for material withdrawals. For external cost, depending what that exactly is, you could manually create project transactions,or if the external cost are supplier invoices, then in the “supplier invoice” screen you could use the “forward supplier invoice” function.
