Hello,

We have a large project order for next year with multiple deliveries against it.

My question is, can you connect multiple customer orders to one single project?

(Normally we would connect just one order to the project)

For this example, we would want to have multiple orders so that we dont have one giant order with thosuands of lines!

Thank you

Hi Mike,

It might depend on the details of the flow you are using, but in all flows I can think of you can add as many Customer Orders to a single project

You might want to also create multiple Activities, one per delivery maybe, but that’s not mandatory

@MikeH the connection between order and project is actually done at customer order line - project activity level. You can have multiple order lines from different Customer Orders connected to the same activity. But as @EriLNL, if this order will be delivered in multiple phases, then it’s a good idea to have multiple activities so that you can track the progress from the Project also.

If it becomes more often that you bigger projects, you can also have a look at the Sales Contracts module. This is for bigger multiyear contracts which are typically not solely connected to a logistical delivery.
