Hi @woprhowe Procedures Installation_SYS.Set_Projection_Snapshot_, Security_SYS.Grant_Inherited_Pres_Objs, and Database_SYS.Read_Projection_Snapshot_ were introduced from UPD7 and UPD6. Could you please make sure you are upgrading the environment from UPD7 to UPD8. If you are trying to upgrade the environment from an earlier UPD level, you need to install UPD7 first to install UPD8 without any issues.Hope this helps you.

Replacing Order Reports Logo

Hi @nimesh Hope you are doing good!Could you please check on the ‘How to add a non-IFS company logo’ (Working with Images) section on IFS Technical Documentation? Hope it will guide you.If you are on Apps10 then as of Update 8 all images used in Report Designer layouts are imported into the database. You can manage the images imported into the database by navigating to the Report Images page in the Solution Manager through the Aurena client.

hi @mess1153 Did you refresh the cache after giving the correct permission to the user. You may do this activity from the refresh cache window. It's a background activity so you may run it anytime but we recommend running it during an off-peak time.

Trying to download the To run IFS Document Management in Microsoft Office you need to install the Document Management Office Add-In.

Hi @ZTC ZTC JGOTA It looks like a certificate issue, could you please check whether the relevant certificate used for your Apps 9 application has been saved in your trusted root certificates. You may verify it when you launch the application landing page it will give a security error and shows a lock icon on the address bar if the certificate is not installed properly in your machine.

Hi @ludovic.rougean All the above answers are to monitor the presently connected users but I hope you need a solution to get the user's history logging. However, you can set the Oracle level auditing to achieve your requirement. but this grabs space on the SYSTEM tablespace so you better have sufficient space on it and better to disable it once you have a pattern on the user logging history because having more space on the SYSTEM tablespace might have some inverse reaction on the performance of the database. So we recommend disabling this feature after a couple of weeks or a month. Oracle Auditing.----------------------Every time a user attempts anything in the database where audit is enabled the Oracle kernel checks to see if an audit record should be created or updated and generates the record in a table owned by the SYS user called AUD$. IFS APPS10 database backup and restore tool

It is always better and recommended to use Oracle utility to do the actions required on the database end. So that if any problems come up we could get help from Oracle Support according to the support agreement. When you use third-party tools we cannot even get help from Oracle if something goes wrong. So both IFS and Oracle recommend using Oracle utility to do any action on the database end.In your scenario, RMAN is the oracle utility used for Backup and Restoration.

Welcome to the IFS community page @ROYIBRAHIM I would recommend you to follow the f1 docs (you may go to the relevant window on the application and press F1 to get to the f1 docs page) on those modules and then read some articles inside knowledge base(which is a tab in community page). Account Status Locked When the User Changed Their Password

make sure the user who is giving this issue is not used in any of your third-party tools or any supportive activities on the application. Also, you may check the listener log or the HTTP access log on which program is trying to access the application after unlocking the account. There could be several answers for such a situation please answer the above questions to narrow down the problem.

Enabling TLS 1.2 support in IFS Apps8 SP2

You need to add +TLSv1.2 in the Protocols from the installer. when you run the installer and go to the SSL configuration page and on that, you will find a text bar in the bottom mentioning the protocols. On that add +TLSv1.2. I have attached a screenshot of the place you need to alter.

Oracle Index issues

Did you try rebuilding the index again? There is a background job for this task in IFS Applications go to the scheduled database task window and search for Validate Index and Rebuild Indexes. Run the Validate indexes first and then Rebuild it. Check if you have any improvement through that as well.

Try to login to the environment with the specific user or through IFSAPP and try to change it from the window “Users” Thanks, this works fine but Users would like the ability to change their own passwords. I will check more on it whether we need to enable any parameter or permission set to get it done from the login prompt itself.

Is there any possibility to set upper size limit for attached documents?

What version of IFS? Haven't seen an upper limit but do know of the following that might help: Working with document files with a large number of object connections in IFS EE The cursor time-out in the ifs-proxy-cache-config.xml should be increased if a large number of objects (more than 500) are connected to a document to prevent the database session being timed out in the IFS EE client. IFS version would be Apps9
