Hi @johnw66 , Kindly check if the status of the background job goes to ‘Externally executing’ when you schedule the report to execute it. If it is stuck in Executing state, you may run the BR report through BR client and test if it runs without an issue in the client. Best Regards,Dilmi.
Hi @paguin , Kindly update me on the UPD version you have right now for IFS application that you use to connect with BRES. At the same time check if you have installed the correct version of BRES with respect to UPD version of the environment you are using to connect with the BRES.If you have installed correct versions of BRES and the application is in correct UPD level, Can you follow the below steps to check if the issue can be rectified. Unistall Business Reporter Execution Server. Check if you have a registry entry for BR client. If available you can remove the registry entry or install BR client and uninstall BR client again. Go to excel. → Options → Add-ins → COM Add-ins → Remove the Business Reporter Addin if available.Reinstall BR Execution Server and see if it works. Regards,Dilmi.
Hi @KPalmieri , Unfortunately, we can not copy the whole design sheet from one file to another. Only within the same file, you are able to copy and paste design worksheets. Normal copy paste functions in excel can be used if you want, but that won't paste all the related design items like repeaters and so on. Best Regards,Dilmi

Hi @SMANUEL Can I know which installation method you used to install the BR client and whether you use your local machine to install BR? Further please go through the below steps again when installingUninstall the current version of BR Install BR client using MSI if you have the admin privileges to install BR client. When you are trying to install the BR client, could you please use the “Just Me” option in the wizard instead of “Everyone”? If you are using ClickOnce to install, please check if the addon is still there in COM addins. If so remove it and reinstall. Regards,Dilmi.
In IFSAPP9, main purpose of this change is to provide information to the user regarding the component requirement as defined in the product structure. Hence in APP9 we recommend that to change the consumption of a Not Consumed part in the product structure itself (qty per assembly=0) if you do not want quantity in DOP structure for that particular part or if you still expecting APP7.5 behavior we have to execute a modification/customization (which is billable) to overcome this situation. However in App9 if still you proceed with quantity for non-consumed components in a DOP structure and there will be not consumed in the material issue process for those component parts.
In an instance, so they purchase 5 units at $10 and then 5 units at $15 and they want to revalue all the stock on hand to say $8 is there any simple way to do this? The only way I can think of is to manually issue all the parts, change the estimated cost and manually receive back into inventory.
This could be an issue with the length of the "KEY_STRING_VALIDATE" parameter of FND_SETTING_TAB. The error could appear when there is a violation of the string length. The object (Shop Orders, in this instance) can be created by changing those value to the appropriate length. Please take the following action: Go to Solution Manager->System Parameters window - And query for the Parameter "Define the characters which should not appear in key fields" - Select the Value as " (..)&%_<>=;~ " from the drop-down or past this in the field.
IFS Business Analytics does not support Sharepoint or any other app used to save Business Analytics reports. However, if the report is downloaded to a local folder, BA will work on that locally saved report as long as no process is accessing that file. Business Analytics will only work with the locally saved reports. If any synching needs to be done, then that third party application (sharepoint, onedrive etc. ) should handle that.
