@lmackeath If you purchase Oracle from IFS as an ASFU license, then it’s okay to do this since your code is related to IFS Applications. Regarding standards, it’s mainly because the framework expects (DB) code to be in a certain standard(naming, lengths,, view/column comments etc.). If your code doesn’t conform, the framework can run into issues. That’s why you should use the IFS Developer Studio when doing coding, since it will guide you in these.
@AndreasIsengaard I would like to know your requirement here. What’s schema/protocol you want to call out to? And what kind of external program are you trying to replace
You can’t directly create a Custom Page based on a IAL it’s not supported Can you try creating a set of Read Only Custom Fields (maybe information card attributes) on Employee LU which fetches from the IAL using the Employee ID?
If you are asking on App10, yes, this is possible to do . If you are planning to use OpenAPI Power Apps doesn’t support V3 yet(as I remember). So have to use V2. You can find out some details on it on the following link (Technical Documentation → IFS Administration & Configuration Guide in IFS Aurena → Integration → API Documentation) https://docs.ifs.com/techdocs/default.htm?openpage=https://docs.ifs.com/techdocs/Foundation1/040_administration/default.htm
IFS Talk has been removed in IFS App 10
UIV views are special user interface views which are created for pages where the usual view can’t be used. When a view is enabled for custom fields/attributes, a new view is created with _CFV (Custom Fields Views). So if you enable a _UIV view for Custom, the resulting view will be suffixed with both hence the _UIV_CFV
Okay, I misread your question. Yes, it’s to create multiple users. If by Access Requirement you mean permission grants to pages, can’t you create a common permission set and then grant it to the users? Or are you talking about Company Site Level grants? There is also the option to use a Data Migration job to create the user and grant the permission
You can use the Batch Create User functionality in IFS EE
Have you looked into the functionality mentioned in the Admin documentation to schedule the quick report? Can be found in IFS Administration & Configuration Guide → Reporting → Ad-Hoc Reporting → Scheduled Quick Reporthttps://wit.ifsworld.com/f1docs/apps9/Foundation1/040_administration/250_reporting/020_adhoc_reporting/030_scheduled_quickreports/default.htmhttps://wit.ifsworld.com/f1docs/apps10/foundation1/040_administration/255_br_and_a/005_adhoc_reporting/030_scheduled_quickreports/
SORBJAHAU Right now you can't change the Navigator using configuration. (We are looking into giving this support in the future) What you can do at the moment is to do a modification of your code as mentioned by SORSITEL
SORBJAHAU The IFS Aurena Bot is available from Apps10 UPD6 onwards. You need to do some configuration changes in your system, and in the IFS Aurena Bot services to get it up and running. You do not need to care about subscribing to Microsoft Services as these will be handled for you by IFS. There is a functionality in the Bot called Customer Specific QnA, where you can build up a list of question and answers specific to you which can be connected to the Bot. If you want to use this feature then you need to have your own Microsoft Azure subscription to build the QnA list in the Azure QnA Maker service. Otherwise you do not need to have an Microsoft Azure Subscription. Please contact the IFS if you are interested in using the Bot.
You need to use EE to change lobbies in Aurena. The lobby designing part is still the same so you can copy lobbies and create new ones as before. You should then be able to see it in the Lobby Overview page in Aurena. You can also add a link to the new lobby from another lobby.
Joffesti Have you set any Oracle settings(IDLE_TIME, CONNECT_TIME) to disconnect idle DB sessions?. If so this could be what's causing the issue
Yes, You can view all configuration done in the IFS Aurena Page at Solution Manager > Application Configurations > Custom Pages > Configured Pages. Yes, you can export and import the page configurations using the ACP concept. In the above page you will see a Add to Package button. Then you need to go to IFS EE to export and import the ACP.
