Cannot start local server with docker support in IFS Cloud 22R1

The Batch Schedule Method does not exist

Filter group of sites on lobby page

Hello everyone, Our customer has a lot of company, and each company has a lot of site.The administrators of the system would like to filter on lobby pages directly all sites from one company.So the idea is to filter a company, which will search all sites connected to filter with these sites.Is it possible to do this ? Thank you in advance Version : V10

How to update Customer Order Line Planned Due Date?

Hello, I am currently attempting to update a Customer Order Line planned due date variable via a workflow projection call. Please see below for the call. Changing directory for temporary files during generating big report

Customer has version 10. In previous versions, adding in reconfiguration in custom arguments e.g. -Djava.io.tmpdir=F:\temp -Dfndext.reportDebugDir=F:\temp was causing that files *.fo was generated there instead in C:\Windows\Temp.Now I added in Main Cluster\Managed Servers\Startup Parameters. It didn’t work.  How to change this directory in version 10?

Installation Excel Addin for Migration Error

When trying to use the Excel Migration in IFS10 no problem. Next I had to downgrade the version (to IFS9) so it could work for  another customer. Summing in IEE lobby, when no data why X displayed

IFS10 - We are summing based on record conditions and if there are no records that meet those conditions the SUM statement does not show as a zero in the lobby but an X. Would be nice to see the zero instead.2 fields getting summed in a lobbywhen no records qualify for the sql statement we just see X.When there are records that qualify we will see the number in the box. Is there a way to get a zero to show instead of the X?

AccessPlsql -- User Permission

Hi Community, I am in the process of setting permissions. I created one permission and granted “Voucher Entry” access but when user try to access that window, IFS throw an error calling “CURRENCY_RATE_API” must be declared. However after digging the error, I realized if I grant Activities → AccessPlsql permission that error doesn’t appear and user can do the transaction.    Can someone explain what does this permission do and Is there any other thing to do without granting this access ?

Unable to edit document in Aurena - IFS Cloud DOCMAN

Hi Team,I have an issue where I am unable to edit the documents in Aurena and I am not getting any error when I click on edit option and the screen remain same. FYI, I have installed Aurena Agent and using Chrome Browser.Here I am connecting a document for eg. customer order by using option New Document from Template where I am choosing a document class which is having a template revision. Once the new document is created it inherits the document connected to template revision and check out the document and till here everything is fine. But when I try to edit this document nothing is happening.Could anyone please help If I am missing something here configure to have this function work seamlessly.  Regards,Mithun K V

Is there any limitation regarding IAL?

IAL seems a very convenient object to create buffer table or provide limited access to some data to external users. However I was wondering whether creating lot of IAL may impact the performance of IFS in general or not… And when we schedule an IAL, based on what user the SQL is run? i do not have access to the company XYZ, so if i run the SQL i will not see data related to this company. Thus when I create the IAL , I want IFSAPP or another super user to run my SQL in order to include XYZ. How can I do that ? For instance, in the scheduler we can specify on behalf of whom the scheduler will run.

stream pop-up

We recently have the problem that when streams are sent there is no notification at the bottom that there is a new stream (red icon at the bottom). We never receives the numerical notification in Streams when we sent something.  When the warehouse set the CO status to Picked normally a stream will be send to the Transport department. , a red ball normally appears at the bottom of Streams (notification that there is a NEW stream) Now we receive the stream, but we are no longer notified.  This is very inconvenient, now we have to get back on it and refresh. anyone have an idea how to fix this?

IFS Jobs Taking longer to start

We are experiencing problem with batch queues taking much longer than they are configured to start background jobs posted. E.g Fast Queue is configured to execute every second with 2 processes. However, I see the jobs are posted to the queue but takes 2-5 mins to start. I have reinitialized the queue but still cannot see the difference. Same happens with other queues. What could be the problem and where should I be looking at? There are no Executing jobs which the queue should be waiting for either. DBMS Scheduler was crashed today and we had to restart database and enable scheduler.

Cannot launch IEE or Aurena client

APPS10UPD9The MWS MainServer freezes and the client cannot launch client e.g. IEE or Aurena from the landing page.The URL will launch the landing page, user will click on the IEE or Aurena Client nothing happens until MWS is restarted.

How to send an email using a workflow

Hello,I currently am trying to send an email via a workflow, so whenever my custom event and custom event action get triggered, my workflow sends an email.How do I go about doing this? I’ve tried using a projection call “GetDefaultsForSendMail: SendMailDefaultsStruct” for BusinessOpportunityHandling as this is what is called when the email button for Business Opportunities is clicked.  I noticed that in logs, this causes cmd prompts to get triggered when clicking the button, which opens up outlook to write a draft for an email, but I’d like to automatically generate and send an email without manual interaction. Is there a way to do this?Thanks,Bryan

Aurena Page Configuration Good in Designer / Error out of it

We are feeling our way around Aurena.  This is currently Apps 10 UPD 9.  When I am in the Page Designer mode my Page Configuration appears fine:However when I leave the page designer I get this: I have tried unpublishing , publishing, signing off after each change I made and I cant seem to shake this issue.  I have granted the projection to a role that I am a part of as well. Has anyone else experienced this?

cancel B vucher

We have recently started using Advanced Invoices on our Customer Orders.  This appears to work ok but, of course, we have our first mistake.  We see that the CD invoice generated after shipment automatically nets against the Advanced Invoices using a B Voucher.  We attempt to Cancel this Mixed Payment but the system won’t let us as it shows the CUPIA as Paid.  Does anyone know a workaround for this?  We can resolve this instance with manual vouchers but we just want to know for future issues.  We are assuming a CR invoice would not touch this but basically we would like a method to reverse this automatic transaction?

Rental Package Part Structure

I am working in IFS 10 with rental inventory parts and was wondering if there way to create packages for Rental parts in the same fashion as the Sales parts? This is the ability to group / package a number of inventory parts together with a single selection (i.e. Sound System package with Soundboard, speakers, lights, etc.).

Merge Permission Sets

HelloI am trying to create a new permission set by merging few existing ones. Can i do that?i try ‘Import Permission Set’» Merge Option and it give me following success message but i am not sure where to find this new permission set now… it didn’t ask me to name new one nor it give me any info on where to find it… i just got this message…. any pointers on where to find this new merged permission set, if it is creating one… this is IFS8Looks like it is merging to the existing one.

UK/US language settings within IFS Reports

Hi,When running a report from within IFS, the customer gets a dialogue box that appears which allows to choose between US and GB. Customer wants to find out how we can hard set the dialogue box to be GB for both drop downs shown below. Can someone advise? Thanks   Many Thanks,Anupa
