Hi, I tested some flows and dont really understand which time elements are taken into account for capability check requiring inter-site transfer via distribution order so that to supply the final customer.Example below : Customer order for a final customer on site A for a part which is supplied from site B. The Site B purchases the part from an external supplier. If the part is not in stock in site B, i guess capability check for final customer order delivery should take into account : 1) Customer order from site A to final customer lead time2) Site A purchasing lead time from site B + site B purchasing lead time from external supplier. I did not manage to set-up this functionning in IFS and to see those elements in capability check critical path.Thanks for your help. Baptiste.

Hi, I tried to find an answer on previous topics but i’m afraid my use case is not covered.I’d like to implement the below functionning in IFS :- If I have a need of 10 PCS for component A (customer order)- And if I already have 8 PCS of component B in stock.- I want a need of only 2 PCS of component A to be triggered by the system (purchase requisition).To do so i guess i need to set-up part B as alternate of part A. I tried to set-up alternate purchase part & alternate component functionalities but it does not seems to work, even when “Include in MRP netting” is set-up at alternate component level, and when “plan alternate component” is ticked for MRP performing.I guess I missed a piece of set-up.Thanks for your precious help.BR.Baptiste.Note : I’m on IFS cloud 21R1.
Hi, For a specific client need in IFS (not FSM solution) we have the following requirements : 1) RMA advance replacement : the company does not await for items under RMA to be returned before to exchange the part and send the new one to the customer2) RMA item quality inspection at arrival : the items need to be inspected (parts are company owned now, not client property anymore)3 options after inspection : A) ScrappingB) To be reconditionnedC) Supplier return if the part is still under warranty (The part can not be directly send to the supplier by the customer, previous analysis by the company is a mandatory step)3) If the part can be reconditionned, a repair action must be launched.4) Once the repair operations has been performed, the item must be identified as a repaired one and available to be resaled to another client or used for a maintenance operation (not necessalery for the same client as the one who requested for initial RMA)We are facing different topics : 1) RMA flow in

Hi, I dont know if it’s the right way to mention a potential case but i noticed 2 quite strange things in IFS cloud on 2 different environments : - Transport task to remote warehouses deletion after “Refill putaway zones” batch launch→ Transport tasks previousely deleted seems to be created again after a few seconds, without any user action.- Refill source method chamges (invent order or purchase) on remote warehouse assortment are not taken into account : if I change the refill method from invent to purchase, i still have a transport task generated if launch “Refill putaway zones” batch.Thanks for your help and expertise on this topic, it may be an error from my side in the setup.
HI, for a specific client need we are exploring the possibility to directly create POs from MRP proposals : no manual conversion from PR to PO under a specific amount (let’s say less than 500€). Is there any way to do it ? 2nd option is to create PR at released status, planner still save time in low-amount needs processing.Thanks for your help and insights on both topics implementation possibilities.Best regards.Baptiste.

HI, I setup a remote warehouse with min & max quantities for refill.when I launch the “refill putaway zones” batch, it works well when there’s stock available in the main warehouses from where the remotes one have to be refilled (transport tasks are generated). But I have the feeling that “nothing happens” when there’s no available stock in main warehouse to refill remote warehouses. Is there a screen to identify such shortages (1) and eventually to generate purchase order to mitigate stock unavailability (2) ? Thanks for your answer.
Hi, A client need is the following : Some inventory locations are so close to production line that it’s not necessary to pick the parts in advance (they even so need to be reserved, naturally). We’d like to exclude those parts from the picking lists generated by the system.Is there a setup at the warehouse/inventory location level to flag them as “to be excluded from picking list”Thanks for your answer.
