Hi Experts, I’ve come across an issue where customer is having problems with Web client and Tech portal (It’s the only web client portal they use) and it is showing Http 500 error. Customer has FSM6U9 and they have implemented this on a new server for UAT testing.We have confirmed that they have installed “dotnet-hosting-3.1.12-win.exe” and other runtimes. We have checked if there are any IIS errors on the Windows event viewer and there aren’t any. Problem is ,even when we try to access web client from IIS manager itself using browse application option, it still shows this Http 500 error which means localhost doesn’t work for any web client. However their smart client is working fine.What are the possible causes for this ? What needs to be checked further ? Quick reply would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance !!!
Hi Experts,I have a customer running FSM production environment & there is a requirement configure FSM instance to use HTTPS instead of currently used HTTP.The question is the customer has a specific requirement of not running the FSM installer file to reconfigure the application with these changes.Customer is asking whether it is possible to manually change the configuration files of the FSM instance to enable HTTPS communication, without doing an application reconfiguration through installer. Hi All,If we make an extension table for TASK table, named TASK_EXT, if we want this extension table to be synced with Mobile, do we need to make separate sync rule for that table ? As per my knowledge, usually baseline sync rule of TASK table take cares of syncing other extension tables, only when that TASK_EXT table is updated with TASK table itself. If I want to update only the TASK_EXT table (not with the TASK table) and to be synced with mobile, what should I do ? Should I add separate sync rule for that ? Hi experts,In this FSM6U10, Integration Scheduling Wizard, “Start Time” has a 1 hour difference from “Next Run”. Consider the following two scenarios,The server is in ET time zoneFor a Smart Client in ET:Last run and next run are at 5:30 AM Trigger field is set for 9:30 UTC Scheduling wizard shows 4:30 AM - 1 hour differenceSmart Client in ETThe server is in ET time zoneFor a Smart Client in CT:Last run and next run are at 4:30 AM Trigger field is set for 9:30 UTC Scheduling wizard shows 3:30 AM - 1 hour difference My question is, why is this showing a 1 hour time difference ? Since “Last Run” and “Next Run” is showed in Client time zone, shouldn’t the “Start time” in the Integration Scheduling wizard show the same time ? Is this a bug or is there an explanation to this ? Hi Experts,What is the proper process for adding an index to a baseline FSM table? For example, we may need to add an index on the User_def2 field on the table, ATTACHMENT. What is the process? Do we add the index ourselves with the knowledge that any FSM updates/upgrades in the future would most likely remove this index? Or do we submit a ticket to CS to have them add the index?Thanks in Advance !
Hi Experts, When an FSM screen is made read-only using security, the buttons on the screen no longer appear. For example, if I setup a role and make the Request function Read-only, when I open a request, all of the buttons no longer appear. Buttons that no longer appear include Save, Print, Copy, etc. My question is, can I have a screen set as read-only using a security role and have the Print button appear on the screen so users can still print the reports to a PDF ? Hi Experts, I have a case where a certain user can’t see the “Use Windows Authentication” option is not showed. This happens only in one computer. When another computer is used that option is showed correctly.Issue occurs only in one laptop and when the user tries to log in using “FSM Authentication”, following error message in showed. Customer also mentions they were able to log in using Windows Authentication last week without any problems.SSO Enabled option is checked in “Person” screen and SSO User ID is given correctly. What could be the issue in this one computer ? Any ideas ? P:S. Customer is using FSM6U6
Hi All, I’m Having a case where customer had FSM 6 U3 and when they creates a request in Web client, they enter the Serial ID (a valid serial ID)of a product and press Tab key and the product related details (Not having to click on search icon and select the product with certain serial ID from the list) are automatically fetched as follows, Recently, they have updated it to U7 and they are saying it doesn’t work anymore. In update 7 Web Client, when they enter the serial ID and press Tab key, nothing happens, nothing is fetched. Also it doesn’t show any errors. I checked the release notes of U7, and it mentions Tab key navigation being excluded from Web client features. Then again in the U9 release notes, it mentions the same feature being included My questions areis this feature back in U9 ? If customer wants to directly enter serial ID and Press Tab key to fetch product details, can it be done ? If yes, how ? (According to them, this way saves much more time) Does this have anyth
Hi,Some transactions are not syncing and changes not being saved on FSM Mobile version 5.7, showing this error |ERROR|GenerateNewTaskReceivedMessage|98|EXCEPTION: The application called an interface that was marshalled for a different thread.
